About: Caring for animals has always been a big part of my life. I take pride in creating a calm, loving environment where pets feel safe and cared for—like they’re part of the family. Whether it’s daily walks, playtime, special diets, or just extra cuddles, I treat every pet as if they were my own. It’s more than just a job to me—it’s something I truly love doing. I currently have the flexibility to stay home full-time, with the exception of occasional appointments and a few hours on Wednesday evenings. This allows me to dedicate ample time throughout the day to walks, playtime, personalized care, and focused attention for each pet in my care. For a home in the city, we offer a generously sized, fully fenced backyard that provides plenty of space for pets to run and play safely. Our neighborhood is quiet and secure, making it ideal for walks if desired. There are no children or other pets in the household, ensuring a calm environment and allowing your dog to receive my full, undivided attention.

“Darren and Meredith were very accommodating and helpful when we needed doggy daycare on short notice. Energetic and welcoming when we arrived and even gave our dog a gift for the road when we picked him up. He was happy and well cared for. Thanks for giving our fur baby a great day!”

About: Our dogs have always been family and I can't recall any time in my entire life when I haven't had at dog at my side, sometimes two or three. I've had dogs of all sizes and energy levels. I've boarded pets for friends and family, the longest was for two months while the pup parent traveled in Asia. I've had dogs on my small ranch in NV and we rode trails together. They moved with me to CO and we enjoyed the mountains and front range together. I drove cross-country many times with my dogs, stayed in hotels and visited friends and family with them. My dogs are always a priority in all we do and I will care for your pups as I do mine. Be assured that I will follow any special instructions you give to provide your pet a safe, happy, stress-free stay. I recently rescued a deaf puppy who was in the middle of the road, and took care of her until a new, loving home was secured. I checked on her later and she is happy with her people and dog family. I am retired and always home. I spend my days gardening, cooking, squirrel and bird-watching, making greeting cards, and cleaning house and property. My two dogs are with me the entire day. We will give your pup lots of company and love. I prefer to sit for one client at a time and max two dogs at a time. I look forward to meeting you and your pups. It's a good day any day that you meet new friends with fur. They bring joy to life. I have a 1/2 acre and a huge fenced yard for play and romping. Your dog will not be put outside for any length of time without my oversight. I am frequently out in the yard, relaxing, weeding, planting and pruning. Safety is number one and focused, pleasant care are my priorities. I want to be sure that the pups have my undivided attention. My two small dogs and I will give your pup lots of company assuring that he or she is acclimated and gets to know us. Our home is comfortable and happy. Does your pup enjoy endless belly rubs? Mine do and I have plenty to share. I prefer to sit for one client and max two dogs at a time. Photos of your pup's day are provided, if requested. I feed my dogs twice a day and give them one treat after their meals. I will feed your dogs at the time of day you prefer. We will only give your pup treats that you provide. I will follow your feeding schedule and administer meds if needed. My early career was 20 years as a hospital clinical laboratory scientist and then as a director. I've medicated my dogs and horses and given shots, so I know all the techniques needed to administer meds for your dog. Be assured, I recognize a dog's body language if in pain, stressed, or sick and will notify you immediately of any serious issues. I will follow your instructions if vet services are needed. My senior dog, Vivvie requires a special diet, so I make homemade dog food, veterinarian approved. No table scraps for her or for dogs in my care.

About: I’ve spent over 15 years caring for a wide variety of animals. What sets me apart is my experience with sick, senior, and disabled pets. Some of my own animals have special needs, so I understand how important it is to provide gentle, attentive care. I’m calm, patient, and confident with everything from giving meds to handling nervous or medically fragile pets. Whether your pet is young, old, or needs extra TLC, I’ve got it covered. Animals are a part of my everyday life—I care for my own pets daily. Feeding, cleaning, medication, and quality time are all part of my routine. I naturally plan my days around animal care, so adding your pet to my schedule is easy and something I truly enjoy. Caring for animals isn’t a chore for me—it’s just part of who I am. Whether in my home or yours, I create a safe, loving, and relaxed environment. At my home, I have a fully privacy-fenced yard for safe outdoor time and my own friendly dogs who love to play and keep new friends company. I stick to your pet’s routine—feeding, meds, potty breaks, and play—while giving them the same care and attention I give my own animals. I’m experienced with pets of all kinds and always make sure they feel comfortable, secure, and loved.

About: We have housetrained countless puppies in a wide range of breeds, and routinely care for all ages. In my years farming and dog breeding ive acquired many useful skills in animal care. We have served so many different families by caring for their companions in our 8 years stationed at Ft. Benning, which began as word of mouth just helping others take leave or tdy and is now also here on Rover. We have greeted new families to the area, and sent many along with well wishes as they continue their journey to a new base. I have alot of knowledge and experience working with dogs, and caring for them stems more from a desire to help people have a safe place to bring their animals than it does from a love of dogs. It takes more than love to responsibly and intelligently care for someone so important to others; what plants are dangerous if eaten, understanding what makes a particular breed unique and filling their required needs, willing to stay up all night long sitting with them if they cant settle down for sleep, and additionally providing the necessary amount of exercise and stimulation their breed needs to thrive and be happy. This is a fulltime job that our family of 9 is well-equipped and well-seasoned to provide due to our relaxed homeschooling schedule and 24/7 at home care schedule. Small homestead on our 8 acres of property with animals from cows all the way down to quail. The energetic breeds enjoy woodland runs with me and the lower energy dogs take strolls on our well worn trails with us. Dogs become a part of our daily activities, and in our home the dogs in our care spend 80% or greater of the day out and contributing in activities with one or more of us. Some lay on the bed while our daughter colors, snore on the couch while the toddlers watch Bluey, others walk the woods picking chanterelle mushrooms with the girls, and still others pace the kitchen always laying on my feet as i bake our farmhouse bread and custard pies in the mornings. Your dog does not sit in a crate all day here like they would in a vet office or a cheap boarding home. Boarders are cared for in the safest manner possible while on premises, are always on leash or within one of our fenced zones. We are a very active and large family so there are always different activities to join in with and noise to be made ;) Dogs that enjoy the company of children get alot of attention and playtime!

About: I have been a dog owner for more than 20 years and currently have a 3 year old Jack Russell named Ranger. I have had the privilege of caring for pets of multiple sizes and needs for neighbors, family, and friends and look forward to the opportunity to care for your pet as well! We are a homeschooling family so are available most weekdays and weekends. My children are 9 and 11 and would love to play with your pet if they are friendly with children. I am comfortable taking your dog on a walk or playing outside in a fenced in yard - just let me know what your pet needs.

“Harley had so much fun. They communicated with me during the day and sent photos.”

About: As a dedicated dog owner who has personally utilized Rover services, I understand the importance of finding a trustworthy and compassionate caregiver for your furry family member. My positive experiences as a client have inspired me to offer the same level of attentive and loving care to others. I am reliable, caring, and committed to treating your pets as if they were my own, ensuring they feel safe, happy, and well-cared for in your absence. Whether it’s providing regular updates, maintaining routines, or offering plenty of playtime and affection, I strive to give both pets and their owners peace of mind. I do not currently work so your dog will have plenty of attention and time for exercise while they are staying with us. They will get plenty of time outside from playing to walks as well as potty breaks. We do not have a fenced yard but we live in a quiet neighborhood with a large yard next to the cul de sac. We use proper leashes when necessary and have room for indoor play. Our dogs have always been part of our family.

“This was our first time leaving our dog with Kassandra and she was awesome. She sent frequent pictures and updates and it was obvious he was having a wonderful time. About: Growing up, my family always had at least one dog, if not multiple. We have also had a couple cats. We currently have a black Lab named Luna. She is 5 years old and full of energy. We make homemade dog food for her and I’d be happy to share our recipe! Our fenced in backyard offers a large play area for your dog to run around and play. I have been house and dog/cat-sitting for over 10 years. I have experience with feeding, administering medications, walking, playing, brushing, as well as other household chores, as needed by my clients. I am an active person. I love running or walking with dogs, playing frisbee, fetch, and other activities. My day starts with caring for my dogs in the morning. I work from home so the dogs get frequent potty breaks and playtime. After work, I am home most evenings to care for your dog including walks. We have a fenced in backyard and a friendly black lab who loves to make new friends to play with in our backyard. Working from home means your dog won’t be left alone for an extended time period. We have an extra kennel for your kennel trained dog.
