About: Our dogs have always been family and I can't recall any time in my entire life when I haven't had a dog at my side, sometimes two or three. I've had dogs of all sizes and energy levels. The longest boarding was for two months while the pup parent traveled in Asia. I've had dogs on my small ranch in NV and we rode trails together. They moved with me to CO and we enjoyed the mountains and front range together. I drove cross-country many times with my dogs, stayed in hotels and visited friends and family with them. My dogs are always a priority in all we do and I will care for your pups as I do mine. Be assured that I will follow any special instructions you give to provide your pet a safe, happy, stress-free stay. I recently rescued a deaf puppy who was in the middle of the road, and took care of her until a new, loving home was secured. I checked on her later and she is happy with her people and dog family. I am retired and always home. I spend my days gardening, cooking, squirrel and bird-watching, helping at church, and making greeting cards. My two dogs are with me the entire day. We will give your pup lots of company and love. I prefer to sit for one client at a time and max two dogs at a time. I look forward to meeting you and your pups. It's a good day any day that you meet new friends with fur. They bring joy to life. I have a 1/2 acre and a huge fenced yard for play and romping. Your dog will not be put outside for any length of time without my oversight. I am frequently out in the yard, relaxing, weeding, planting and pruning. Safety is number one and focused, pleasant care are my priorities. I want to be sure that the pups have my undivided attention. My two small dogs and I will give your pup lots of company assuring that he or she is acclimated and gets to know us. Our home is comfortable and happy. Does your pup enjoy endless belly rubs? Mine do and I have plenty to share. I prefer to sit for one client and max two dogs at a time. Photos of your pup's day are provided, if requested. I feed my dogs twice a day and give them one treat after their meals. I will feed your dogs at the time of day you prefer. We will only give your pup treats that you provide. I will follow your feeding schedule and administer meds if needed. My early career was 20 years as a hospital clinical laboratory scientist and then as a director. I've medicated my dogs and horses and given shots, so I know all the techniques needed to administer meds for your dog. Be assured, I recognize a dog's body language if in pain, stressed, or sick and will notify you immediately of any serious issues. I will follow your instructions if vet services are needed. My senior dog, Vivvie requires a special diet, so I make homemade dog food, veterinarian approved. No table scraps for her or for dogs in my care.

About: We have housetrained countless puppies in a wide range of breeds, and routinely care for all ages. We have served so many fellow military families by caring for their companions in our 8 years stationed at Ft. Benning, which began as word of mouth just helping others take leave or tdy and is now also here on Rover. We have greeted new families to the area, and sent many along with well wishes as they continue their journey to a new base. We have alot of knowledge and experience working with animals, and are dedicated to responsible and intelligent care for those so important to others; understanding what makes a particular breed unique and filling their required needs, most especially providing the necessary amount of exercise and stimulation their breed needs to thrive and be happy. This is a fulltime job that our family of 9 is well-equipped and well-seasoned to provide due to our flexible home schooling schedule and 24/7 at home care schedule. We are a small farm with many animals, our life revolves around animal care and we are home nearly 24/7. We used to take high energy breeds that i ran with for miles but im getting older and so are our guests, we prefer to take it slow and chill with a cup of coffee and a good bone or catnip mouse. We customize activities based on how they respond to their surroundings. Some prefer to nap in a quiet room, some keep track of our numerous song birds and squirrels at the window feeders. Those that enjoy the company of children get alot of attention and playtime, and our toddlers are convinced treat containers are bottomless. We are very careful with poisonous items such as houseplants, rest assured none are accessible during their stay!

It is so fun to incorporate dog walks and playtime with your animals in my daily schedule. I can easily crate your fur baby, or they can sleep in a comfy dog bed. We have a large yard, with a small portion fenced. Since we are a homeschool family, we spend a lot of time out doors and I love to take dogs for walks and let them join us outside if that is what your fur baby enjoys. If you need help with drop in services at your own home, I can arrange those services to meet your dogs needs.

About: I have cared for animals my whole life. I've taken care of them when abandoned by the mother, sick, or disabled. I have experience doing basic training. My own pets pile on me the second I sit down. I've never had a pet pass the rainbow bridge before the age of ten. I have fully fenced yard in a safe neighborhood. I have a pug of my own who doesn't mind other animals. I usually keep him in the bedroom for the first couple hours. I have two inside/outside cats who are also very friendly to people and animals. If I am sitting cats and dogs together, I will usually keep the two separate. Cats upstairs and dogs downstairs. Don't worry about attention. There is plenty to go around! If I'm caring for your babies at your house, I will follow the rules you provide.
