About: Our dogs have always been family and I can't recall any time in my entire life when I haven't had a dog at my side, sometimes two or three. I've had dogs of all sizes and energy levels. The longest boarding was for two months while the pup parent traveled in Asia. I've had dogs on my small ranch in NV and we rode trails together. They moved with me to CO and we enjoyed the mountains and front range together. I drove cross-country many times with my dogs, stayed in hotels and visited friends and family with them. My dogs are always a priority in all we do and I will care for your pups as I do mine. Be assured that I will follow any special instructions you give to provide your pet a safe, happy, stress-free stay. I recently rescued a deaf puppy who was in the middle of the road, and took care of her until a new, loving home was secured. I checked on her later and she is happy with her people and dog family. I am retired and always home. I spend my days gardening, cooking, squirrel and bird-watching, helping at church, and making greeting cards. My two dogs are with me the entire day. We will give your pup lots of company and love. I prefer to sit for one client at a time and max two dogs at a time. I look forward to meeting you and your pups. It's a good day any day that you meet new friends with fur. They bring joy to life. I have a 1/2 acre and a huge fenced yard for play and romping. Your dog will not be put outside for any length of time without my oversight. I am frequently out in the yard, relaxing, weeding, planting and pruning. Safety is number one and focused, pleasant care are my priorities. I want to be sure that the pups have my undivided attention. My two small dogs and I will give your pup lots of company assuring that he or she is acclimated and gets to know us. Our home is comfortable and happy. Does your pup enjoy endless belly rubs? Mine do and I have plenty to share. I prefer to sit for one client and max two dogs at a time. Photos of your pup's day are provided, if requested. I feed my dogs twice a day and give them one treat after their meals. I will feed your dogs at the time of day you prefer. We will only give your pup treats that you provide. I will follow your feeding schedule and administer meds if needed. My early career was 20 years as a hospital clinical laboratory scientist and then as a director. I've medicated my dogs and horses and given shots, so I know all the techniques needed to administer meds for your dog. Be assured, I recognize a dog's body language if in pain, stressed, or sick and will notify you immediately of any serious issues. I will follow your instructions if vet services are needed. My senior dog, Vivvie requires a special diet, so I make homemade dog food, veterinarian approved. No table scraps for her or for dogs in my care.

About: Hello, My name's Lorraine. I have a soft spot in my heart for senior dogs. I lost 2 of my eldest dogs last year ( aged 12 & 15 in 2024) and recently adopted another senior lady (Bella) from a friend that couldn't move with her. I have experience taking care of dogs, cats, chickens, birds, rabbits, hamsters, rats, horses, reptiles, and insects. I do own other animals in my home (for boarding purposes)- a rosy boa (snake), a bearded dragon, a leopard spotted gecko, a tarantula, 3 rabbits, chickens, and my new senior dog -Bella. I'm currently a stay at home mom and college student. I'm home often and am pretty used to the 3-4 hour returning home schedule with my senior dogs. I have a fenced in .25 acre yard and live in a subdivision that I can safely walk dogs in. I own a large dog crate, and 2 small dog crates if dogs need to be kenneled when away or are used to sleeping in them at night.

About: I’ve had a dog my whole life, to me a home isn’t a home without one! As of right now I have three dogs, one that lives with me full time. I rescued him from a shelter and I love training him and watching him grow up. I would be a great help with training or just simply giving love and attention to your sweet pup ! I work part time at an Auburn country club with the flexibility of being able to leave in the middle of the day when needed. I am near tons of dog parks, I take my dog, Bear, everyday that it’s not raining, and he gets along great with every pet including cats. I also love to run and go on walks and wouldn’t mind having a furry companion.

During high school, I was on the pre-vet track, where I took care of the rabbits, hamsters, and chickens, and during my last year of high school I shadowed at a vet clinic. I currently raise and train facility dogs and service dogs, as well as volunteer at my local humane shelter where I train their dogs, as well. Now at my current university, I work with raptors, such as hawks, eagles, falcons, and owls. All of these opportunities have helped me gain insightful experience in order to properly care for all kinds of animals, big and small! I am a student so I do have classes throughout the week, but my schedule is flexible and will adapt according to your pet’s needs. I love being active with my clients’ pets. Currently I live in an apartment, but it has two courtyards/green spaces. I also live right on campus, so for dogs, I have many nearby places to walk them. For animals that prefer to lounge around inside, I have lots of indoor toys!

About: Growing up, my family always had at least one dog, if not multiple. We have also had a couple cats. We currently have a black Lab named Luna. She is 5 years old and full of energy. We make homemade dog food for her and I’d be happy to share our recipe! Our fenced in backyard offers a large play area for your dog to run around and play. I have been house and dog/cat-sitting for over 10 years. I have experience with feeding, administering medications, walking, playing, brushing, as well as other household chores, as needed by my clients. I am an active person. I love running or walking with dogs, playing frisbee, fetch, and other activities. My day starts with caring for my dogs in the morning. I work from home so the dogs get frequent potty breaks and playtime. After work, I am home most evenings to care for your dog including walks. We have a fenced in backyard and a friendly black lab who loves to make new friends to play with in our backyard. Working from home means your dog won’t be left alone for an extended time period. We have an extra kennel for your kennel trained dog.
