We also have part of the yard with an additional fence which leads to a separate entrance to the house - meaning those babies we watch can have their own yard. We offer big Kennel Space with an elevated Bed - heat; a/c; TV some even decided last Summer to swim in our Pool which we are perfectly ok with :-) Our dogs are all fixed, UTD and on monthly preventative for flea and tick medicine - and always happy to have an additional fur friend join the walks. We had hospice dogs in the past and also quite a few fosters recovering from surgery and ok with giving daily medicine (not including shots)

About: Our dogs have always been family and I can't recall any time in my entire life when I haven't had a dog at my side, sometimes two or three. I've had dogs of all sizes and energy levels. The longest boarding was for two months while the pup parent traveled in Asia. I've had dogs on my small ranch in NV and we rode trails together. They moved with me to CO and we enjoyed the mountains and front range together. I drove cross-country many times with my dogs, stayed in hotels and visited friends and family with them. My dogs are always a priority in all we do and I will care for your pups as I do mine. Be assured that I will follow any special instructions you give to provide your pet a safe, happy, stress-free stay. I recently rescued a deaf puppy who was in the middle of the road, and took care of her until a new, loving home was secured. I checked on her later and she is happy with her people and dog family. I am retired and always home. I spend my days gardening, cooking, squirrel and bird-watching, helping at church, and making greeting cards. My two dogs are with me the entire day. We will give your pup lots of company and love. I prefer to sit for one client at a time and max two dogs at a time. I look forward to meeting you and your pups. I will follow your feeding schedule and administer meds if needed. My early career was 20 years as a hospital clinical laboratory scientist and then as a director. I've medicated my dogs and horses and given shots, so I know all the techniques needed to administer meds for your dog. Be assured, I recognize a dog's body language if in pain, stressed, or sick and will notify you immediately of any serious issues. I will follow your instructions if vet services are needed. My senior dog, Vivvie requires a special diet, so I make homemade dog food, veterinarian approved. No table scraps for her or for dogs in my care.

However after my past dog Beau past away I felt no desire to have another but missed the affection so I would love to provide temporary care and love for your fur babies! We make homemade dog food for her and I’d be happy to share our recipe! Our fenced in backyard offers a large play area for your dog to run around and play. I have been house and dog/cat-sitting for over 10 years. I have experience with feeding, administering medications, walking, playing, brushing, as well as other household chores, as needed by my clients. I am an active person. I love running or walking with dogs, playing frisbee, fetch, and other activities. My day starts with caring for my dogs in the morning. I work from home so the dogs get frequent potty breaks and playtime. After work, I am home most evenings to care for your dog including walks.
