About: Hi, Iâm Amanda! I have several years of professional experience working with dogs in boarding and daycare environments, with a strong focus on behavior, safety, and low-stress handling. Iâm comfortable caring for senior dogs, administering medications, following special routines, and working with dogs that benefit from a calmer environment. My background has taught me the importance of understanding each dogâs individual needs and adjusting care accordingly. I also carry pet care insurance in addition to Roverâs protections and believe in clear, honest communication so owners can feel confident while theyâre away. Pet care is a central part of my daily routine. I work from home, which allows me to spend the majority of my day with the dogs in my care rather than being away at a traditional 9-to-5 job. My schedule is built around feeding routines, walks, enrichment, potty breaks, cleaning, and individual attention. While I occasionally leave for errands or appointments, dogs are not routinely left alone for a full workday. I provide care in a calm, structured home environment designed to help dogs feel safe and comfortable while away from home. Dogs are supervised, managed thoughtfully, and given appropriate opportunities for activity and rest throughout the day. I prioritize low-stress handling, safe management practices, and predictable routines that help dogs settle in successfully. Each dogâs care is adjusted based on their age, temperament, energy level, and individual needs.
âJennifer was an excellent host to my pup Luna. I received photos of Luna playing in her yard and having a great time around her other dogs. Highly recommend her if youâre ever in the area.â

âLexie was amazing! Communicating and scheduling was breeze. My Cooper was exhausted when he got home..... he had a great time running around with her two sweet dogs. Have already booked a long stay. Highly recommend!â

âHeather was absolutely phenomenal! From the moment I dropped my dog off, I felt completely at ease knowing he was in such good hands. She was warm, friendly, and so communicative throughout the entire day. I received regular updates and photos, which really put my mind at ease and made me feel connected while I was away. My pup had an amazing time playing and clearly felt right at home in her care. Itâs easy to see how much Heather loves what she does, and that energy really shines through. Iâll definitely be booking with her againâhighly recommend her doggy daycare services to anyone looking for a safe, fun, and loving environment for their pets!â

About: Our dogs have always been family and I can't recall any time in my entire life when I haven't had a dog at my side, sometimes two or three. I've had dogs of all sizes and energy levels. The longest boarding was for two months while the pup parent traveled in Asia. I've had dogs on my small ranch in NV and we rode trails together. They moved with me to CO and we enjoyed the mountains and front range together. I drove cross-country many times with my dogs, stayed in hotels and visited friends and family with them. My dogs are always a priority in all we do and I will care for your pups as I do mine. Be assured that I will follow any special instructions you give to provide your pet a safe, happy, stress-free stay. I recently rescued a deaf puppy who was in the middle of the road, and took care of her until a new, loving home was secured. I checked on her later and she is happy with her people and dog family. I am retired and always home. I spend my days gardening, cooking, squirrel and bird-watching, helping at church, and making greeting cards. My two dogs are with me the entire day. We will give your pup lots of company and love. I prefer to sit for one client at a time and max two dogs at a time. I look forward to meeting you and your pups. It's a good day any day that you meet new friends with fur. They bring joy to life. I have a 1/2 acre and a huge fenced yard for play and romping. Your dog will not be put outside for any length of time without my oversight. I am frequently out in the yard, relaxing, weeding, planting and pruning. Safety is number one and focused, pleasant care are my priorities. I want to be sure that the pups have my undivided attention. My two small dogs and I will give your pup lots of company assuring that he or she is acclimated and gets to know us. Our home is comfortable and happy. Does your pup enjoy endless belly rubs? Mine do and I have plenty to share. I prefer to sit for one client and max two dogs at a time. Photos of your pup's day are provided, if requested. I feed my dogs twice a day and give them one treat after their meals. I will feed your dogs at the time of day you prefer. We will only give your pup treats that you provide. I will follow your feeding schedule and administer meds if needed. My early career was 20 years as a hospital clinical laboratory scientist and then as a director. I've medicated my dogs and horses and given shots, so I know all the techniques needed to administer meds for your dog. Be assured, I recognize a dog's body language if in pain, stressed, or sick and will notify you immediately of any serious issues. I will follow your instructions if vet services are needed. My senior dog, Vivvie requires a special diet, so I make homemade dog food, veterinarian approved. No table scraps for her or for dogs in my care.
âI would definitely recommend Rebekah to any and everyone! Chloe absolutely LOVES her! She always has a good time and comes home tired which I love! Rebekah is very knowledgeable about animals sheâs even given me tips and educated me about my dogs breed. I also love how she takes the time understand Chloe and sees what works best for her. Sheâs very patient with Chloe as well and keeps me updated through out the day. Iâm so happy I found her I will continue to use her services as long as I can.â

About: Iâve spent over 15 years caring for a wide variety of animals. What sets me apart is my experience with sick, senior, and disabled pets. Some of my own animals have special needs, so I understand how important it is to provide gentle, attentive care. Iâm calm, patient, and confident with everything from giving meds to handling nervous or medically fragile pets. Whether your pet is young, old, or needs extra TLC, Iâve got it covered. Animals are a part of my everyday lifeâI care for my own pets daily. Feeding, cleaning, medication, and quality time are all part of my routine. I naturally plan my days around animal care, so adding your pet to my schedule is easy and something I truly enjoy. Caring for animals isnât a chore for meâitâs just part of who I am. Whether in my home or yours, I create a safe, loving, and relaxed environment. At my home, I have a fully privacy-fenced yard for safe outdoor time and my own friendly dogs who love to play and keep new friends company. I stick to your petâs routineâfeeding, meds, potty breaks, and playâwhile giving them the same care and attention I give my own animals. Iâm experienced with pets of all kinds and always make sure they feel comfortable, secure, and loved.

About: Caring for animals has always been a big part of my life. I take pride in creating a calm, loving environment where pets feel safe and cared forâlike theyâre part of the family. Whether itâs daily walks, playtime, special diets, or just extra cuddles, I treat every pet as if they were my own. Itâs more than just a job to meâitâs something I truly love doing. Think of doggy day care as your dogâs fun, supervised play date that happens to fit into your workday. Day care through Rover takes place in a real home. This offers a calmer and more personalized environment for your pup.

Here are tips for finding the ideal day care fit for your dog:
- For some small dogs: In-home day care can be the perfect fit. Look for sitters whose "can host" section only lists dogs weighing 0â7 kilograms and/or 7â18 kilograms. During your Meet & Greet, ask about play areas based on dog size and energy level.
- For high-energy dogs: The ideal doggy day care can offer scheduled breaks and outdoor spaces or activities. You can also find sitters who host multiple dogs to satisfy your pupâs socializing needs.
- For dogs who prefer human-only companionship: Use the filters "Doesn't own a dog" and "Only accepts one pet at a time" to find the right care.
Play groups can be an option when you book with a day care sitter through Rover. Many sitters do host a small number of dogs at the same time. Smaller dog packs are generally safer, more fun, and ideal for dogs who enjoy playtime but also want to relax throughout the day. When looking for your dogâs pack, check the sitterâs profile to see if they "Accept multiple clients" or have their own dogs. Then during the Meet & Greet, you can see whether your dog is a good fit for their social circle!
While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dogâs vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitterâs care.
Many sitters in AL ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies.
By discussing your pet's health history early, youâre adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justiceâs National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
The Rover Guarantee is Roverâs commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.
All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
