I treat every pet like they’re my own, and always do my best to stick to their normal routine so they feel as comfortable and loved as possible. I work Monday–Friday, but my schedule can be flexible at times. If you need pet care but aren’t sure whether my schedule will fit your needs, feel free to message me! I’m always happy to help whenever I’m able. I have a fenced in yard and two friendly pups. I crate trained both of my dogs while they were potty training, so I also have a large crate available if that fits your pet’s needs.

I have experience caring for many of my mom’s friends’ pets, including staying in their homes and making sure their pets are well taken care of. I follow their normal routines for feeding, walks, playtime, and medications if needed. In a client’s home, I respect their space and keep everything clean and organized. I will always prefer texts over phone calls. **Check out what your babies get up to and the pictures/videos I didn’t end up sending on our Facebook or Instagram page, Zig Zag Wag pet care! I have experience with a variety of animals, including dogs and cats, horses and livestock, rodents and reptiles, and everything from basic grooming including nail trims and baths to basic behavior training. (See safety section for further details) I have experience with basic first aid. I have pretty much free and short notice availability, thought I limit bookings on WEDNESDAYS and SUNDAYS as my days off. I have a whole zoo worth of pets and need to stop by my own house throughout the day, so any house sitting will be based on regular visits. I have reliable transportation and excellent driving skills in case of needing to transport. My vehicle has a crash tested seat belt and I have a few crash tested harnesses if you do not have one, though providing your own sized for your dog is preferred. I will not provide transport for animals other than cats or dogs and cats and small dogs must be tolerant of being crated for the ride. I am great at working with your schedule with at least 2 hours notice, but Rover does not allow easy schedule changes. If you need to reduce your visits, CANCEL the booking and REBOOK with your new dates, as once Rover confirms your booking it won’t let you reduce the current rate. In your home, I offer basic cleaning services and can ensure any messes get cleaned. I can meet many varied needs and am meticulous with following your house rules for your pets. I do not offer boarding or allow client pets at my home. I will not provide food or other consumables, though I will confirm what treats your pets can have because all good pets deserve treats. I provide basic behavior assistance such as teaching your dog that jumping on people is inappropriate, basic tricks (sit, down, paw), leash manners, but I DO NOT OFFER PAID TRAINING. I am not a certified trainer in any capacity, though I have trained many of my own animals (including rats and cats!)

We treat others as family, we love to spoil others, and we also provide training if needed with positive reinforcement. About: I have spent my life around cats and dogs, and currently have a 5 year old dog of my own. My family also fosters and homes dogs to this day so the love for animals runs deep! I am familiar with training of animals, walking them, caring for medical needs, and providing all the pets they want and need! I have a lot of free time outside of my full time job and would love to spend it around animals. About: Hi! My name is Madeja, and I honestly can’t imagine a full, happy life without pets. Animals have always been a huge part of my world, and caring for them comes naturally to me. I’ve worked in education and the nonprofit sector since 2015, so patience, responsibility, structure, and clear communication are a big part of who I am. I bring that same care and attentiveness to every pet I look after. I’ve had pets my entire life, starting with my first dog, Gin Gin, a Shih Tzu, and my second dog, Biggie Smalls, a toy poodle. Over the years, I’ve loved and cared for many animals, including Chance, my Shih Tzu of 13 years; Malibu, my pit bull of 13 years; Newman, my cockapoo of 12 years; and Nacho, my cat of 4 years.
