About: I have worked for boarding facilities before, one that had no kennels and one that did. I have had lots of experience taking care of dogs and cats, giving oral medications, and watching them during the day to day. I love animals and always think of them as a part of your family. I am available everyday except for Tuesday's and Thursday's. As long as I have two days notice I have no issue doing check-ins, walks, or watching your furry friends with whatever schedule works best! Due to my previous experience with boarding facilities, I am well trained to follow instructions left by owners. Whatever schedule my clients have I will adapt to and perform, so that their pet won’t get confused or distressed by the change in schedule. My maximum service area extends to a 25-mile radius (approximately a 30-minute drive in typical traffic). For clients between the 10-mile and 25-mile radius, an additional travel fee of $0.74 per mile will be added to the total booking cost to cover gas, wear and tear, and associated taxes/fees. Pet care fits really naturally into my weekly routine. I’m available seven days a week, with the most open availability from Sunday through Tuesday. On Wednesdays and Thursdays, I work later in the day (2:45–9 PM), so I’m free for morning, midday, and evening visits. Fridays and Saturdays are my busiest days with both my job and my business, but I can still do morning and evening visits—plus quick lunchtime drop-ins if you’re nearby. I’m also available for overnight house sitting any day of the week. I prefer bookings made about a week in advance, but I can occasionally take last-minute requests if my schedule allows. And yes, I’ve got reliable transportation to get to you and your pets with no problem. When I’m taking care of pets in your home, I make sure they feel safe, relaxed, and totally spoiled in their own space. I follow your instructions exactly—feeding schedules, meds, routines, quirks, all of it—because every pet has their own little rhythm. I’m big on safety, so doors, gates, and anything a curious animal might get into get double-checked. And when it comes to your home, I treat it like it’s my own: respectful, clean, and never leaving a mess behind. About: What sets me apart is a lifetime of hands-on experience and a genuine bond with dogs. While I haven’t worked as a professional dog sitter before, I’ve been caring for dogs since I was seven years old. I’m now 32, and throughout my life, I’ve had a Maltese, an English Setter, and a Gordon Setter. My setters were hunting dogs, so I’m comfortable with energetic, intelligent breeds that need both physical exercise and mental stimulation. I’ve trained them in basic obedience, manners, and recall, and I understand the importance of consistency, patience, and clear boundaries. I’ve cared for both small and large dogs, and I’m experienced with feeding, walking, bathing, playtime, and making sure they feel safe, calm, and loved. I can also teach simple commands and fun tricks like sit, stay, lie down, roll over, spin, and shake. I am a Spanish woman who moved to Folsom with my husband a year ago. I am a great animal lover and I have had dogs since I was little. In my childhood, I lived with two setters: an English setter and a Gordon setter, and a Maltese bichon. This has given me experience with both large and small dogs. Now, although we cannot have one of our own, I would love to care for others, as I greatly enjoy their company. My daily routine is flexible, and I have full availability to adapt to the needs of clients and their pets. I fully adapt to each pet’s needs. I am very attentive and will always ensure the dog has food, water, and is comfortable. If I notice something is wrong, I address it immediately. I handle walks carefully, avoiding direct sun, and if bathing is needed, I do so with experience, using proper shampoos and conditioners, especially for long coats. I can also brush them.
