I’ve had the opportunity to work with a wide range of dogs, from police K9s and sport dogs to beloved family pets and rescue cases. At the end of the day, my focus is on building clear communication, confidence, and trust so both you and your dog feel supported every step of the way. For the past four years, I have immersed myself in working with dogs across various fields, from pet dogs to police K9s and protection dogs. This diverse experience has enriched my skills and deepened my passion for canine care and training. My part-time job provides me with the flexibility to dedicate ample time to these incredible animals, allowing me to focus on their training, well-being, and development. About: I’ve grown up taking care of dogs, fish, and especially cats! I have training from the SPCA on dog walking, cat care, and some skill/behavioral training for both cats and dogs. I have 3 years of fish keeping experience. I currently have my own cat (he’s orange!) and I am fostering a mother and her kitten for the time being. I am willing to help clean around the house as well! I have indoor/outdoor plants and I can take care of your plants while you are away - I have a green thumb :) I’ve helped friends and clients with farm animals, including feeding and cleaning their spaces. I am currently in college, but only have classes Monday and Wednesday and can work around my school schedule. I offer dog walking, some behavioral training while pet sitting/walking, in home pet sitting, and I can do small cleaning projects for a minimal extra charge. I am gentle with the animals and can do grooming such as brushing and can try nail clipping if your pets allow it!

I’m now 32, and throughout my life, I’ve had a Maltese, an English Setter, and a Gordon Setter. My setters were hunting dogs, so I’m comfortable with energetic, intelligent breeds that need both physical exercise and mental stimulation. I’ve trained them in basic obedience, manners, and recall, and I understand the importance of consistency, patience, and clear boundaries. I’ve cared for both small and large dogs, and I’m experienced with feeding, walking, bathing, playtime, and making sure they feel safe, calm, and loved. I can also teach simple commands and fun tricks like sit, stay, lie down, roll over, spin, and shake. I am a Spanish woman who moved to Folsom with my husband a year ago. I am a great animal lover and I have had dogs since I was little. In my childhood, I lived with two setters: an English setter and a Gordon setter, and a Maltese bichon. This has given me experience with both large and small dogs. Now, although we cannot have one of our own, I would love to care for others, as I greatly enjoy their company. My daily routine is flexible, and I have full availability to adapt to the needs of clients and their pets. I fully adapt to each pet’s needs. I am very attentive and will always ensure the dog has food, water, and is comfortable. If I notice something is wrong, I address it immediately. I handle walks carefully, avoiding direct sun, and if bathing is needed, I do so with experience, using proper shampoos and conditioners, especially for long coats. I can also brush them. If a vet visit is required, I will take care of it. Additionally, I love playing with dogs and making sure they feel calm and happy when their owners are away.
