Hi, my name is Heather! I’ve been pet sitting for almost 9 years, but have had exposure to dogs my entire life - and I wouldn’t have it any other way! I’m familiar and comfortable with dogs of all sizes. Although I wish to one day have a pet of my own, Rover has given me an incredible opportunity of establishing a relationship with so many pets (and pet parents!) The animals I watch have given an incredible amount of support and even with the first stay I consider them as part of my own. 💗 I am doing this full time, and am home majority of the time due to some health limitations, so we may be a great fit if you work from home, are retired, or your pet has separation anxiety because they are used to being around people. I can still provide up to 2-3 miles of daily exercise, and of course play lots of fetch! If you and your pup are comfortable with car rides or dog parks, we can do that as well! My only limitation is early morning walks - late morning is totally fine. During summer time when it is very hot, i will only give them a walk if the palm of my hand doesn’t burn touching asphalt to prevent overheating and protect their paw pads (usually later morning or during sunset.) I am comfortable with giving medication, CPR certified, and have quite a bit of experience with reactivity (dogs who do not like other dogs). Lots of love and creating that trust between yourself and the dog. Also sticking as close to schedule as possible, if they have one, to keep things normalized for them while their humans are away.

This was the first time using Rover & Heather. She did a great job watching my two dogs and followed all the instructions I left for her. She kept me updated on how they were doing and sent me super cute pictures. I will definitely have her watch my pups again!
We can’t say slough great things about Heather! She was amazing. We received constant updates about our pups. She treated them like her own. I think they were more sad to see her leave than they were happy to see us when we got home. If you need a pet sitter, she’s your girl!
She was truly amazing and went above and beyond when my golden retriever unexpectedly got sick during the stay. She handled a tough situation with so much care, patience, and kindness, and I’m incredibly grateful for how well she took care of him.
Heather was wonderful and caring with our two dogs, who are as different as day and night. Both are rescues. She understood the needs of each dog, and made sure we were updated frequently when we were away. She seems to be a very gentle and kind person, and we really appreciated her wonderful care.
Our dogs consider Heather to be a part of the family! She truly does treat them like her own.
Heather was awesome with our three dogs. She watched two of our German shepherds and our little senior Yorkie. She took care of them making sure they got all the snuggles and kisses to fill the pupps up with happiness. Fed them on time and She took them out for walks and gave them lots of belly rubs and treats. My dogs were so comfortable with her and trusted her so quickly. She kept everything tidy and was an amazing person to have for my home and dogs. I have 100% trust with Heather and will definitely seek out her service again. I love leaving the review to tell people how great she is but I'm going to be afraid she'll be booked up next time. Totally kidding. But if you need someone that is passionate about dogs and respectful please don't hesitate. Or do so I can rebook her haha. Heather, you were such a pleasure to have for my dogs and home. I can't thank you enough but I definitely appreciate everything you did for my baby shepherds and Yorkie. Thanks

I am at home most of the time so they will have lots of company! Whether you work from home, are retired, or any other situation where your pup is used to having you around more often than not, I just might be your pups new bestie.
