Furry friends welcome!
One of my best friends in the whole world is my 19-year-old kitty! I love him with all of my heart and I hope to be able to show your pets the same care and attention. Here are some of my skills and experiences: SKILLS: -giving subcutaneous injections to dogs and cats EXPERIENCES: -I have taken care of three cats for 2 months for a musician who went away on tour -I volunteered at a vet clinic 4-8 hours a week for 2 years -I have experience rehabilitating wild songbirds -My sister is also a pet sitter on Rover in Sacramento! I have helped her with a few of her gigs, so I have experience walking, feeding, and playing with dogs. While I am no veterinarian, my veterinary volunteer experience has made me observant when it comes to noticing potential health concerns. Integrity is important to me. Dahlia is going to be our go-to sitter for our sweet Belgian Malinois / Great Pyrenees 3 year old, 95 lb, shy and nervous and playful girl, Indie. It was our first time having anyone new for our pup (usually family watches her) and we were apprehensive of how Indie would react to someone new in her home. Dahlia did a meet and greet with us first and we were so happy that Indie took to her right away (which is extremely unusual!) We booked Dahlia immediately, who stayed with Indie for 3 nights and days, updating us with pics and little stories about how they were doing. It was a giant relief for us, and we were able to enjoy our time out of state, knowing our home and our precious pup were well taken care of. Thank you so much Dahlia!!

Dahlia was the most amazing pet sitter I could have imagined. If she still lived in San Diego, I would hire her every single time. She bonded with the cats and sent me cute pictures and videos every day. My apartment was absolutely pristine when i returned home, maybe even cleaner than when i left. She's such a wonderful human and I'm jealous of whoever's pets get to hang out with her.
Dahlia is one of the most empathetic and caring people I know. She treats every animal as if they were her own and goes above and beyond to make sure they feel safe, comfortable, and loved. Schedule
I will be starting a new job on April 19th and will be working full-time. However, I am available for check-ins, walks, and can care for animals during house sits before and after work!
