I have over 3 years of experience caring for dogs of all sizes, including a German Shepherd/Husky mix, as well as experience caring for farm animals. I work Monday through Thursday from 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM, and my husband works from home full-time, so there is someone home throughout the day to provide supervision, potty breaks, and companionship. I’m home every evening and have Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays off to spend extra time playing, walking, and giving your pup plenty of attention. I’ll make sure your dog gets the love, care, and routine they deserve while you’re away. Your dog’s safety and comfort are my top priorities. About: Hello! I’m Vee. I’ve worked with pets for most of my life and have had a deep respect for animals as far back as I could remember. I used to cry over the dead birds our barn cat would kill as a child. I have had cats, dogs, rabbits, and have even helped rehab two baby squirrels. Each animal is different and deserves the care they need to feel cherished. I’m currently in grad school for social work so want to make the most of my free time by doing what I love: working with animals. Right now my availability is pretty open and I have the flexibility to work around your schedule. :) Your furry family members will be treated with the utmost care during their stay. I want them to feel as relaxed and stress free as possible but I know some new environments can be a little scary. I always use a sound machine at night with soothing music to ease any anxiety (and usually lots of pets and treats too!). My preference is that dogs are crated at night to help ease anxiety (and to prevent any night time shenanigans) but if your dog is unfamiliar with a crate that’s no problem. I can try working with them on crate training with lots of positive reinforcement or I can set up a comfy spot for them in our guest bedroom. Please please please let me know if your pet has any issues with potty training. I will 100% adjust to their needs and take them out as often as necessary to avoid any accidents. :)
About: I have taken care of my own dogs and do my very best to treat them like family. I make sure they eat, have adequate potty time, and recreation time. I will be sure to take care of your pet as if they were with you. I am currently working, but have plenty of time to care for pets. They will have plenty of time 1 on 1 with their needs met. Wheather it's walks overnight stays in my home or yours or just a check in my love will show no bounds. I will call txt or face time when ever you need so that you are comfortable with being away. I faced timed and texted the animal mom frequently over the weekend so she felt better while away from her children(1 dog 2 cats). Thank you and have a great day! I have a large back yard and different tie out spots for the dogs to be safe. One friendly large dog and an autistic almost 6 year old daughter starting kindergarten. About: I’m a lover of all animals, but dogs have always had my heart. There is nothing quite like the joy that comes with being surrounded by dogs. Their instantaneous affection, contagious happiness, and unique personalities make me so excited to interact with any dog that I cross paths with. I love my job as a special education teacher, but I have always wanted to work with dogs in some capacity, too. This arrangement began when I got my dogs in college and could not keep them in my apartment, and we have found that it works best for them since I am gone most of the day for work. That said, my home is open and animal-free for any pet stays. We have a walkable neighborhood with friendly neighbors and fellow dogs. I also have experience dog-sitting at the dog’s home for those who do better with keeping their usual routine.
