I have over 3 years of experience caring for dogs of all sizes, including a German Shepherd/Husky mix, as well as experience caring for farm animals. I also have my own Mini Australian Shepherd, Axel, so I understand the patience, exercise, and attention dogs need every day. I know how important it is to trust the person caring for your pet. I work Monday through Thursday from 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM, and my husband works from home full-time, so there is someone home throughout the day to provide supervision, potty breaks, and companionship. I’m home every evening and have Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays off to spend extra time playing, walking, and giving your pup plenty of attention. I’ll make sure your dog gets the love, care, and routine they deserve while you’re away. Your dog’s safety and comfort are my top priorities. I have experience caring for dogs of all sizes and understand that every pet has different needs and routines. I will follow your instructions closely regarding feeding schedules, medications, exercise, crate training, and any special requests. My Mini Australian Shepherd, Axel, is friendly and enjoys other dogs, but I always recommend a meet-and-greet first to make sure everyone is comfortable. I’ll provide regular photo and video updates so you can feel confident your pet is safe, happy, and well cared for.

About: Hello there! My name is Rachel and I've been a pet owner and sitter for many years. I currently have cats AND dogs and they are all amazing! My dogs are named Norbert and Newt, and they are both some big ole lovers. Growing up without pets in the house, I was always trying to bring friends' pets home! I also dog-sat for one particular family in high school and I loved it. Pet-sitting for me is all the joys of owning a dog only on a part-time basis. I would love to help you and your furry family out in your time of need! Be it for vacation, a new baby, work, or anything else, I can fill in. My longest running regular client used me nearly every weekend in good weather so she could skydive! This lasted almost two years until I moved out of the area. She had 5 hounds and a puppy hound! (I actually delivered the puppies. 😳) I have somewhat flexible availability to take dogs on walks, visit your home, or check in on your pet. I am also available some nights and weekends to dog sit in your home or bring your pet to my home. I have my basement set up for my dogs to have the run of it - it is the coolest part of the house and completely dog friendly! My dogs hang there while I'm at work, then we go for walks as soon as I get home. I would love to meet you and your pet in person to determine if we'd be a good fit! I currently work for the Beaver County Humane Society and I am loving it! My schedule is somewhat flexible, but I always have time for new clients and meet and greets. My pets get the best I can for them, and I feel like I work mostly so I can pay for their food and supplements, lol. I try to walk and play with them as much as they can, and my cats have their own bedroom with a baby gate so they can get away from the dogs if they want to.

About: Hello! I’m Vee. I’ve worked with pets for most of my life and have had a deep respect for animals as far back as I could remember. I used to cry over the dead birds our barn cat would kill as a child. I have had cats, dogs, rabbits, and have even helped rehab two baby squirrels. Each animal is different and deserves the care they need to feel cherished. I’m currently in grad school for social work so want to make the most of my free time by doing what I love: working with animals. Right now my availability is pretty open and I have the flexibility to work around your schedule. :) Your furry family members will be treated with the utmost care during their stay. I want them to feel as relaxed and stress free as possible but I know some new environments can be a little scary. I always use a sound machine at night with soothing music to ease any anxiety (and usually lots of pets and treats too!). My preference is that dogs are crated at night to help ease anxiety (and to prevent any night time shenanigans) but if your dog is unfamiliar with a crate that’s no problem. I can try working with them on crate training with lots of positive reinforcement or I can set up a comfy spot for them in our guest bedroom. Please please please let me know if your pet has any issues with potty training. I will 100% adjust to their needs and take them out as often as necessary to avoid any accidents. :)

About: What sets me apart is my lifelong love for animals and my hands-on experience caring for many different species. Along with caring for dogs and cats, I also have experience training and taking care of exotic animals like seals and sea lions, which has taught me patience, strong observation skills, and the importance of positive reinforcement. Monday through Thursday, I am usually busy with classes and other responsibilities from about 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Outside of those hours, I have more flexibility and can make pet care part of my daily routine. I would be able to provide care in the mornings before class, later in the afternoon, and in the evenings. I am also more available on Fridays and weekends. I am used to balancing multiple responsibilities, so I am comfortable planning my schedule around feeding, walks, playtime, and any other care a pet may need. I make sure all of the basic necessities are taken care of, including feeding, fresh water, potty breaks, walks, and sticking as closely as possible to the pet’s normal routine. I also give them lots of attention, love, and playtime so they feel comfortable and cared for while their owner is away. In a client’s home, I’m respectful of their space and make sure everything is cleaned up after each visit, including food areas, accidents, litter boxes if needed, and any toys or supplies used. I also pay attention to each pet’s behavior and comfort level, whether they are energetic and playful or more shy and relaxed. My goal is to keep them safe, happy, and loved while giving owners peace of mind.
