“Allison and her family were great with my dog! They sent lots of photos and gave updates on how she was doing. And Willow made friends with their dog who was very well mannered!!”

“Could not have asked for a better sitter for my pup! I’m still new to the area and when my dog sitter fell through, I was able to book here within minutes just a couple days before leaving on a 5-day trip. I received pictures and updates everyday. I definitely will come back and recommend any chance I get! So worth it!!!”

“If there was a rate of 10 stars Briana would get it! The communication is fabulous along with the pictures of our sweet Samoyed with her family and their dog, Duke. We are at easy knowing our sweet boy is being well taken care of when we travel.”

About: Hi! My name is Grace, and I’d love to care for your furry family member. I have over 3 years of experience caring for dogs of all sizes, including a German Shepherd/Husky mix, as well as experience caring for farm animals. I also have my own Mini Australian Shepherd, Axel, so I understand the patience, exercise, and attention dogs need every day. I know how important it is to trust the person caring for your pet. I’ll treat your dog like they’re part of my own family, providing plenty of playtime, exercise, affection, and supervision. I’ll also send regular photo and video updates so you can relax knowing your pet is happy and well cared for. Whether your dog loves to play, cuddle, or simply relax, I’ll make sure they feel comfortable, safe, and loved while you’re away. I work Monday through Thursday from 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM, and my husband works from home full-time, so there is someone home throughout the day to provide supervision, potty breaks, and companionship. I’m home every evening and have Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays off to spend extra time playing, walking, and giving your pup plenty of attention. I’ll make sure your dog gets the love, care, and routine they deserve while you’re away. Your dog’s safety and comfort are my top priorities. I have experience caring for dogs of all sizes and understand that every pet has different needs and routines. I will follow your instructions closely regarding feeding schedules, medications, exercise, crate training, and any special requests. My Mini Australian Shepherd, Axel, is friendly and enjoys other dogs, but I always recommend a meet-and-greet first to make sure everyone is comfortable. I’ll provide regular photo and video updates so you can feel confident your pet is safe, happy, and well cared for.
“Grace made me feel very comfortable leaving my 3 dogs with her, which isn't all that easy. My girls were happy with her and were glad to be there. I would recommend Grace and would re-book with her in the future.”

“Our dog had a great stay with Erin! We received consistent updates with pictures. Erin was flexible with arranging a meet and greet beforehand. We will definitely be reaching out to Erin again when we need someone to watch our dog!”

I understand that pets are cherished members of your family, which is why I prioritize their safety, comfort, and unique routines—whether that means sticking to strict feeding schedules, administering medications with care, or giving extra play, exercise, and snuggles. Beyond keeping your companion happy and calm in their familiar environment, I ensure total peace of mind for you by maintaining clear, open communication and sending frequent updates with photos. Reliable, thorough, and genuinely passionate about animal well-being, I am dedicated to providing a stress-free experience for both you and your beloved pets while you are away. I currently work from home and have a 2.5 old male golden retriever. Your dog will have attentive care with me working from home and a bonus play mate! As a dedicated dog sitter, my highest priority is providing your pup with the same warmth, devotion, and structure they experience at home. I approach every pet in my care with deep empathy and genuine affection, quickly building a calm, trusting bond that helps them feel safe and loved while you're away. You can rest easy knowing I am entirely reliable and communicative, keeping you closely updated so you never have to wonder how your companion is doing. From strictly maintaining their feeding schedules and medication times to noticing subtle shifts in their mood or energy, my sharp attention to detail ensures your dog’s specific routine, comfort, and safety are met without compromise.

“Brittany was absolutely wonderful, I have never left my dog with anyone before so I was very nervous, but from the first time I talked to her until the moment I picked my dog up, I knew how much she genuinely loves animals and takes excellent care of them. Communication was wonderful the entire time, she sent me daily updates of how my dog was doing, what he did that day, along with daily pictures. She gave my dog plenty of care, attention, and affection. When I picked him up I knew he was very well cared for the whole time. I couldn’t have asked for a better experience. I would definitely book with Brittany again and recommend her highly to anyone!”

About: I have taken care of my own dogs and do my very best to treat them like family. I make sure they eat, have adequate potty time, and recreation time. I will be sure to take care of your pet as if they were with you. I am currently working, but have plenty of time to care for pets. They will have plenty of time 1 on 1 with their needs met. I have a yard and can give your dog access to exercise or take them on walks at parks. I do my best to follow your home schedule as much as possible to ensure they will be still on that schedule when you return home.
About: Hello there! My name is Rachel and I've been a pet owner and sitter for many years. I currently have cats AND dogs and they are all amazing! My dogs are named Norbert and Newt, and they are both some big ole lovers. Growing up without pets in the house, I was always trying to bring friends' pets home! I also dog-sat for one particular family in high school and I loved it. Pet-sitting for me is all the joys of owning a dog only on a part-time basis. I would love to help you and your furry family out in your time of need! Be it for vacation, a new baby, work, or anything else, I can fill in. My longest running regular client used me nearly every weekend in good weather so she could skydive! This lasted almost two years until I moved out of the area. She had 5 hounds and a puppy hound! (I actually delivered the puppies. 😳) I have somewhat flexible availability to take dogs on walks, visit your home, or check in on your pet. I am also available some nights and weekends to dog sit in your home or bring your pet to my home. I have my basement set up for my dogs to have the run of it - it is the coolest part of the house and completely dog friendly! My dogs hang there while I'm at work, then we go for walks as soon as I get home. I would love to meet you and your pet in person to determine if we'd be a good fit! I currently work for the Beaver County Humane Society and I am loving it! My schedule is somewhat flexible, but I always have time for new clients and meet and greets. My pets get the best I can for them, and I feel like I work mostly so I can pay for their food and supplements, lol. I try to walk and play with them as much as they can, and my cats have their own bedroom with a baby gate so they can get away from the dogs if they want to.

Frequently asked questions about Rover
Rover is the largest marketplace for local pet care. Whether you're looking for pet sitters, dog walkers, or house sitters who specialize in pet sitting, you can narrow your search by entering your ZIP code to find sitters within walking distance in your neighborhood.
Every sitter on Rover has their own routine. Depending on the arrangements you agree on before the stay, a sitter can follow your dog’s regular feeding schedule, provide a comfortable place to sleep, offer companionship, and support their usual exercise and play needs.
Depending on the sitter, their home environment, and your dog’s needs, daily exercise may include walks, outdoor play, indoor enrichment activities, or supervised play with compatible dogs. These activities are not automatically included with every booking, so ask the sitter what a typical day looks like.
During the Meet & Greet, discuss your dog’s usual exercise and play routine, whether they can safely interact with other dogs, and any activities or restrictions the sitter should follow. You can also ask the sitter to send photo and message updates during the stay so you can see how your dog is spending their time.
Preparing for drop-off is easy when you have a checklist! To help your dog settle into their Harrisville home-away-from-home, packing:
- Health and safety essentials such as their ID tags, vaccination records, medication, and emergency vet or secondary caregiver contacts.
- Food and gear such as harnesses, collars, food (portioned by day), and an item that smells like you.
- Special instructions such as a list of training cues, medical administration needs, or favorite hang-out spots in your Harrisville.
Tip: You can upload your dog’s routine and medical info directly onto their profile so your sitter always has the details at their fingertips.
You and your Harrisville sitter can schedule drop-off and pick-up in a way that works best for the both of you—and your dog. Most sitters offer flexible times for drop-off and pick-up but the easiest way to confirm those times will be through in-app messaging. Confirm your arrival time the day of pick-up and drop-off can also help keep the process smooth and organized.
The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.
All bookings are backed by the , which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit .
While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Many sitters in PA ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your dog to the closest veterinarian. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your dog is showing signs of possible illness.
For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorization form for your regular vet. An authorization form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.
Every qualified booking made on Rover is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes reimbursement for eligible emergency vet care.
