About: Hi there! My name is Jamiah, but feel free to call me by my nickname, Mia! I started building my pet care business in 2017. Now in 2025, I work at a non profit as a Communications & Marketing Specialist. While I took time away from Rover to start my career, my heart is calling me back to my ultimate passion-providing high quality care and comfort for all furry friends, while meeting fantastic like-minded people along the way! My love for all animals is deeply immense. Thanks to my mother-I grew up with dogs, cats, rabbits, as well as birds! And I was encouraged to always look out for animals and even saved a pregnant cat and raised a litter of kittens when I was 10 (I will share that story when we have the pleasure of meeting). With the animal lover trait being instilled in me, I take the utmost pride in being selected to look after yours. I currently have 1 dog (german shepherd) and 1 cat! I also take care of my mom’s dog (shepherd mix). I attended Conrad Schools of Science and chose the Animal Science career pathway for 3 years. Those 3 years provided me with the basic knowledge about all barn animals and pets. This experience enabled my passion for helping animals no matter how large or small. I’ve always taken the opportunity to volunteer and give back to shelters who need support. Faithful Friends became my home for a few summers as I walked dogs and cleaned countless litter pans. I do work full-time right now but my schedule is a hybrid one and thankfully extremely flexible! About: I grew up with cats and a dogs, I now have a 2 year old cat. I love going on walks with dogs. I take care of my in-laws’ dogs and friend’s pets when they go out of town. I have a full time job from Monday to Friday but I have I some flexibility in the mornings and afternoons and can also adapt for different times if known in advance. I am free in the evenings and weekends as well.☺️ I can take care of multiple pets at a time in their owner’s house. Depending on dog’s breed, 1 big dog at a time, 2 medium dogs at a time and up to 4 small dogs simultaneously. Usually no limit to number of cats, it is case by case.

About: I have a 4-year-old chihuahua-Shiba mix at home. I have good experience with dog of difference sizes and habits. Personally I walk my dog 3 times a day. I would do the same to guarantee they have enough activities every day and stay active. I will be in trolley square area for the whole December including Christmas and New year’s Eve. I would be available anytime through the whole week from Dec 18 to Dec 26. Apart from that, I’m available after 5pm during weekdays and 10am-6pm during weekends. I would make sure I know enough about the pet beforehand and learn their habits. Meanwhile, I’ll walk them at least 3 times a day and provide them enough food (of course treats too)

When I went off to college, it was the first time I experienced having the whole bed to myself. No hogging doggies.!! Since my 20s, I've had cats. Lately, I have taken care of dogs mostly -- all sizes and shapes from small Jack Russells to large pit bulls. Some with special needs and special diets and some super healthy and wanting a zillion walks. I've even taken care of a bunny (named Valentino who did tricks).
