“Renee was punctual when we met her for the first time. She suggested walking Chase around our cul-de-sac to see how he would do, which I really appreciated. Renee was very friendly and gentle with my puppy, and Chase immediately liked her. She also came well prepared when she arrived at our home. Overall, we had a great first experience with her.”

“We have used Brie multiple times now to watch our English bulldog and we love her! We've used a couple girls from this site, and have liked them all! But we prefer Brie, and always check with her first! She makes us feel so comfortable when we have to be away, knowing that she's taking great care if him! She is so sweet, upbeat and easy to work with! Absolutely recommend her!”
About: I have been caring for animals since the age of 10, developing a deep understanding of pet behavior, needs, and well-being over the years. In addition to my extensive hands-on experience, my primary profession in international pet transportation has equipped me with a unique skill set that sets me apart from other sitters. Through my work, I have built strong relationships with veterinarians and established access to reliable resources for emergency situations, ensuring pets are always in safe and capable hands. I am highly experienced in handling dogs with anxiety and specialize in helping them become calmer and more comfortable through structured care and basic training techniques. I am also confident in caring for puppies and senior pets, understanding the extra attention, patience, and specific routines they require. My background allows me to provide not just supervision, but a safe, structured, and stress-free environment tailored to each pet’s individual needs. ***PETS MIGHT BE POSTED ON SOCIAL MEDIA, PLEASE LET US KNOW IF YOU WISH YOUR PET NOT TO BE POSTED! THANK YOU Pet care is seamlessly integrated into my daily routine, as my primary work in pet relocation requires me to be home and actively caring for animals throughout the day. This allows me to provide consistent supervision, timely feeding, regular exercise, and attentive monitoring of each pet’s well-being. Because I am home nearly 24/7, pets in my care receive a high level of attention, structure, and companionship. My schedule is naturally built around their needs, ensuring they are comfortable, safe, and well-cared for at all times. I provide a safe, structured, and clean environment for pets in my care, whether in my home or a client’s home. My property features a spacious, fully fenced yard with a secure gate, allowing pets to exercise and play safely under supervision. For added security and peace of mind, the home is equipped with surveillance cameras. I accommodate each pet based on the owner’s preferences and the pet’s needs. Crate accommodations are available for pets who are crate-trained or when owners prefer that added level of safety and routine. Cleanliness and hygiene are a top priority. All areas are sanitized daily using pet-safe cleaning products to ensure a healthy environment. I maintain a consistent routine that includes feeding, exercise, rest, and attentive monitoring to keep pets comfortable, secure, and well cared for at all times.
About: I've been caring for dogs and cats since I was young and have owned and cared for my own pets for over 7 years. Through caring for my pets, as well as those of friends, family, and neighbors, I've gained experience with dogs of different sizes, breeds, energy levels, and personalities. I also volunteered at an SPCA shelter, where I worked with a variety of animals and learned the importance of patience, consistency, and attentive care. I fostered a pup from this shelter for 5 months. I'm physically active and enjoy long walks, outdoor activities, and playtime, so energetic dogs will get plenty of exercise and attention. My goal is to make every pet feel safe, comfortable, and loved while providing owners with regular updates and photos for peace of mind. I currently have open availability and can easily work around your pet's routine. Whether they enjoy long walks, playtime, or a quieter day with plenty of attention, I'll make sure they get the care and companionship they need. I'm active and enjoy being outdoors, so dogs who love exercise and adventure are always welcome. I also have experience fostering pets! I believe pets are happiest when their normal routine is maintained, so I follow each owner's instructions closely regarding feeding, exercise, medications, and house rules. I take a patient approach with every animal and make sure they feel comfortable and secure in my care. My goal is to provide a stress-free experience for both pets and their owners, with regular updates and photos throughout their stay.
“We have been using Kara for a few weeks now for dog walks and she has been great. We have 2 pit bull breeds with a combined weight of 130lbs. Kara has done a fantastic job walking them both and we feel comfortable with her to handle them when they get excited. She is timely and communicative which we appreciate!”
“We had a great experience with Eleonora! She was super friendly during our first meet and greet and took excellent care of Keno during his daily morning walks over 5 days. She was punctual, followed every instruction, and sent sweet photo updates every day. Seeing Keno so happy made me so happy. I highly recommend Eleonora and would gladly book her again! 🐾”

I’m a student right now living on my own. I currently have open availability and i’m looking for a full time job to do while using my passion of pet care to keep me afloat! 🤍 I don’t offer in home services due to having tow cats of my own and too many problems with cohabitation with other animals. About: I'm a lifelong animal lover/parent. Our pets are members of our families, and I'll treat yours as if they were my own. Young, old, special diet, medicine requirements, finicky, playful - I'll be there for them. I have two very independent cats of my own with their own home care routine if I need to be away. I am available when you need someone any day/night of the week. In my home, there is another pet parent which frees me to be there for yours when you need a sitter, feeder, or walks. About: Hi, I’m Dalene! Since I was a child, my life has been dedicated to the health, safety, and happiness of my furry and feathered pets-those of my family members, neighbors, clients, and friends. Over the last 20 years, dogs and cats have been my main priority, and I have successfully cared for dogs of all temperaments and every size, from tiny Chihuahuas to giant breeds. What sets my care apart is my background in pet safety and medical support. I am trained in pet first aid and CPR, giving me the skills to stay calm and act fast in an emergency. I also have experience administering medications, including pills, liquids, and topical treatments. I prioritize reading body language, so l can identify if your pet has an illness, or is anxious and stressed, to ensure their safety, and health. I know that changes can be stressful for pets, so my goal is to keep their days as normal as possible. When you book with me, I closely follow your established schedule. You will receive frequent updates and total peace of mind knowing your beloved pets are in mature, and knowledgeable hands. I have past volunteer experience working at the Monterey County SPCA, and worked mainly with the dogs, playing with them, taking them for walks, and evaluating new arrivals for adoption. It was so rewarding when they were adopted! I volunteered at the Monterey zoo, and helped care for monkeys, elephants, ferrets, etc. I have a crazy alligator story I will share with you if you ask! 🫣 I am a full time pet sitter, so I’ll have plenty of time for belly rubs, playing fetch, relaxing with your pets, long walks, and making sure their needs and routines are met. At this time, I only care for pets in your home where they are most comfortable, and I will provide a calm environment where they feel safe, nurtured, and loved. Each pet is unique, and I will care for them accordingly. I will send you photos of your pets throughout the day, to give you peace of mind, so you know they are happy and content. Safety is of utmost importance when it comes to your pets, and I’m aware of other dogs when out on a walk, and making sure doors and gates are closed. I will not have houseguests over. I’m looking forward to meeting you and your pets! 😊

“Where do I even begin?! John has been a godsend to my Pitty, Aubrey and I. The moment he met Aubrey on our meet and greet, I could tell he knew what he was doing and was comfortable, which made me comfortable! Not only has John watched Aubrey, but he’s taken the extra time and care to teach and train her. I can tell he has a real love for animals, as well as being very personable, professional, and compassionate to towards Aubrey’s needs. Aubrey was rescued at 3 months old and has developed some aggression issues with other dogs, so she is not an easy one to walk at times. She also was diagnosed with a severe heart murmur and underwent a pulmonary balloon valvuloplasty, which John has been very mindful off. John has exceeded my expectations with knowledge and tools to help me help my furchild. 😊 John even brought high grade treats from home to help train Aubrey. He’s been dependable and consistent. He sends amazing photos and videos throughout the day. 10/10, highly recommend. Will be working with John as long as we can. :)”

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a walker. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your walker or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your walker questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and walkers on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement walker.
