“David was so great with our cat, Chester, that we rescheduled with him for our next trip as soon as we got back. Chester is a diabetic cat and David successfully gave him his insulin injections twice a day, every day. He was very friendly (both with us and Chester) and was very easy to communicate with. He always arrived on time and provided great updates and pictures twice a day that made us feel assured that Chester was in good hands! They spend time playing together and getting in some cuddles while David still took care of the insulin injections and everything else that needed done. On an app with so many dog-focused sitters, we are very grateful to have found another cat guy like David to look after Chester!”

“Kyra did I GREAT job taking care of my cat (and home) while I was away for a weekend. She is very smart, knowledgeable, and experienced. I could tell from our first meeting that she would do a great job and I wouldn’t need to worry about anything. I had some simple, but somewhat specific, instructions and she completed everything I asked and was communicative throughout. I will definitely look to Kyra to pet sit again in the future!”

“Mage is a very kind and considerate sitter. I missed my girl’s birthday, and Mage sang happy birthday to her for me!! Mage also always sends update photos, and follows all of my babies’ preferences to the T. Could not recommend more highly.”

“Mabray is really good with our needy cats. She took initiative to create fun playtime for our cats and made sure they are well taken care of. I will definitely book her again for kur next trip”

“I truly appreciated Katie to take care of my kitties when I was away. She loves my cats and my cats love her. They get along well at greet- meet section to understand my cats' habbits. I highly recommend Katie for taking care of your lovely pets when you are away. Thank you so much, Katie. Thank for the kitties' portraits in my kitchen. You are gifted and talented with arts and caring pets. Wish you all the best.”

About: I am a 5 year experienced veterinary technician who has worked primarily with small animals in multiple practices across the United States. I am currently enrolled in veterinary medical school pursuing my doctorate at UIUC in their college of veterinary medicine. In addition, I am a life-long pet owner myself! I grew up with dogs in a variety of sizes, as well as cats. As a veterinary student, I have classes in the morning and sometimes afternoon. This should not be a concern as I still have plenty of time to watch pets! We have multiple breaks through the day and I own a car. Classes never extend past 4:00 pm. So, I can travel to your pet and am fully open in evenings for long walks! I care for pets in the owners home! As a veterinary student, I am living in an apartment which is not always the appropriate place for watching certain large-sized dogs. I also have a cat of my own who is terrified of dogs!

About: I have two friendly cats and backyard chickens. I have had cats and dogs for most of my life. I go trail hiking at local forest preserves and state parks 2-4 times a week and would love to take your dog with me! I only have one dog guest at a time (unless they are from the same home) so I can give them lots of care and attention and provide you with regular updates and photos. You will know your pet is being well looked after. My goal is to make your pet feel like it is on a fun vacation while you are on a fun vacation. Nothing makes me happier than dogs I've cared before, coming back and pulling on their leash to come into my house on their next visit! I only work half-time so I have plenty of time for pets. I know how important your pet is to you and I'm very responsible. My dog guests are walked at least three times a day including a walk or hike of 30 minutes or longer. They are also able to use my fenced in backyard when the chickens are locked up for the night .

“Emma was amazing! She took care of my cat so well. This was my first time leaving her alone and she made me feel so much better. She was so communicative and kind and I feel so grateful to have found her.”

“Taylor is amazing! She helped us out in a pinch, dealt with a fiasco bc our other sitter left a dog out of the crate and cleaned up the shredded dog bed. She went above and beyond and saved the day for us after our flight home from vacation was delayed.”

About: In addition to owning 3 cats, I grew up owning a variety of pets throughout my life. (cats, dogs, guinea pigs, rabbits, chicken, fish, and a goat). I will admit that I have more experience with cats than I do dogs. I have 3 cats, Keenan, Kel, and Marjorie Stewart-Baxter. I do love dogs very much as well, though, and have plenty of experience with them. Many friends ask me to tend to their animals while they are away. So I figured, why not do it on here as well? Before you leave home, it is important to offer as much instruction as possible. Where are things located if not out on the counter? Does the animal require meds or a special diet? Are there extra #2 bags? All of those things are useful. If you think of something, it is probably best to write it down. I love animals, and they love me. I hope to make your animals feel as comfortable as possible while you are apart. I am mainly free on nights and weekends. My office schedule is flexible as well, however. So I could make an afternoon walk or drop in visit work with enough notice. I own 3 cats who are all seniors. They have been part of my family for over a decade. As they are aging, I adjusted their diets to reflect their age bracket and dietary needs. Marjorie requires a thyroid pill twice daily, which I administer religiously and make sure I have a pet care schedule that reflects this when I go on longer trips. I give them all love and cuddles and attention as much as possible. Two of them are cuddling me as I write this. I hope to provide the same love and care to your pets while you are away from home. My goal is to make sure their wellbeing is the last thing you need to worry about. If I am providing a drop-in visit, I will show them love and play with them in addition to providing what they need in your instructions. If I am walking your dog, they can be curious and stop and smell the roses to their heart's content. All animals will be pampered with love and treats. Your pets will always miss you while you're away, but I hope my presence will help them feel less anxiety so that you only see happily wagging tails when you return.

About: As an emerging professional, I found it to be wise to not get an animal of my own quite yet, but through this opportunity I can still be around and interact with your loving animal(s). I have interacted with an array of dogs, and currently my family has had 3 dogs. Brandy, a golden retriever who loved being outside and swimming, Jack (who is in my profile picture) a cocker spaniel who loved a good nap, and our other dog Ziggy, a long haired dachshund who has calmed down over the years but loves to great people with his loud bark. I have experience working with older dogs who require medication, so if your pup/cat needs that attention, I’ve got you covered. I like to think I’m an active person, so walks will be had as well. I also love giving animals baths, so if you are interested that can be included in my services! Thank you for your consideration! I currently have a full time job, but would have mornings, lunch, and after 5pm available to love on your pet. I make it a priority to make sure they keep their schedule and have an ample amount of attention. I think keeping pets in their homes is especially important when their parents are away, so that’s why I am more than happy to come to them. Just like humans, I want to make sure they feel loved and cared for even when you are not there. I love to cuddle and play with all the pets I watch as well so they will not be missing out on attention (haha)!

About: I feel comfortable with dogs of any size, breed, or age. I am glad to follow any special instructions you give and do my best to keep your pets safe and as comfy as possible. I like to communicate or send pics while you're away so you can feel assured your pets are being well cared for. I have fostered many dogs (and adopted a few), so have experience with an array of personalities. I'm looking forward to meeting your pet family too. I work from 8 to 4:30 or 5, weekdays. Im happy to attend to your pets before and after work, in the evening and overnight, lunch breaks as well if needed. I prefer to "sitt" in your home in order to help keep them as comfy and on the same routine as possible. I believe in following the care instructions of the parents to a tee. I will give your fur babies lots of love and send you pics or videos if you'd like. I am trustworthy and dependable.

“Jennifer helped me with my kitty that needed special care with meds and injections. She put my mind at ease and also gave me some recommendations for him from her experience. It helped me feel ok about leaving my guy for a couple days even though he as some health issues.”
