About: I have had my own dogs in my life - for over 35 years, both small ones and large ones. I learned to obedience train my German Shepherds and they were always welcomed wherever we went. Most people said that they would love to come back as my pet. I am currently working part time and have ample time to attend to your dog. I can have a dog overnight in the evenings and most weekends. My home sits on 3 acres with lots of room for your dog to run. Ill take your dog on nice walks. In my home, your dog can roam freely or I can crate your dog if you like.

I work from home full-time, so I’m able to be home with your dog throughout most of the day. My flexible schedule allows for regular potty breaks, playtime, walks, and plenty of attention throughout the day. I'm also home a lot on weekends and enjoy having a dog join me for family activities. I do have the occasional sports game, outing, or event, but these are generally during the daytime and I'm never away for more than about 8 hours at a time. Your pup will be welcome to settle into the normal family routine—whether that means following me around while I work, curling up nearby for a nap, playing with my son after school, or getting lots of cuddles on the couch. Your dog’s safety and comfort are my top priorities. I only host one dog at a time, so your pup will have my full attention and won’t have to share the house with other visiting dogs. My home is a single-level home with no stairs, making it easy for dogs of all ages to get around comfortably. I do not have a fenced-in yard, so dogs are always supervised and kept securely on a leash or harness whenever they’re outside. Inside, your dog is welcome to make themselves at home! I am a true dog lover, so cuddling on the couch, curling up next to me while I work, and even sleeping in bed are all perfectly fine. I want your pup to feel comfortable, safe, and loved while they’re here. I'll follow your dog’s normal routine as closely as possible, including feeding schedules, walks, medications, and any other care instructions you provide. I'll also keep you updated with photos and messages so you can relax knowing your pup is happy and well cared for. Before every stay, we’ll have a meet-and-greet to make sure your dog is comfortable in my home and that we’re a good fit for each other.

About: I’ve been so lucky to have so many pets throughout my life — dogs, cats, bunnies, turtles, a full on aquarium. I’ve always been the go-to for pet sitting, whether it was through nannying, house-sitting, or being the friend who actually likes doing it. “From our first contact on Rover, Beauty was right on top of things. We had a meet and greet the same day, and I got to see her friendly and enthusiastic confidence with my dog in her home and neighborhood. I have a sweet but willful older lab and she totally handled him. She used good techniques in introducing him to her dog and the neighborhood "pack", giving me confidence that she is an experienced dog handler. Two other things that really stood out for me. Beauty is super responsive. She reached out proactively and returned my messages right away, with LOTS of pictures that let us know our boy was doing great. She also LISTENED. I had some concerns based on my dog's idiosyncracies, and I felt she 100% understood and respected my wishes. Also, by the time we returned after a week, her descriptions of him were so right on I could tell she had a real bead on his personality. This is someone who really goes the extra mile.
