1. Bria A.
“Amazing experience for our pup with Bria. Ollie got lots of playtime, snuggles, and love, and we got very nice updates. They clearly love dogs and treat yours as their own :)”
2. Carissa V.
“This provider was tremendously responsive, maintaining contacts, encouraging meet and greets prior to boarding. Daily update photos were sent throughout the stay. The yard and kennel spaces were more than ample. They were professional, insured and organized. My dog appeared very content at pick-up, and during her stay. I’d definitely use them again for the care of my best friend.”
3. Shannon C.
“Excellent dog sitter. Shannon took excellent care of my anxious beagle. If you are looking for a kind and caring sitter, you will not be disappointed! Highly recommend.”
4. Christine T.
“this was simply perfect for us. lots of updates, pics and even a facetime that made our night. but really there’s no beating the peace of mind that our pups were in a loving home and getting lots of activity and attention and enjoyed their little vacation during our little vacation. 10/10 would recommend and will book again in the future.”
5. Jessica S.
“Jessica was extremely accommodating and communicated regularly throughout our stay to make sure we felt comfortable and reassured. Our dog had lots of love and adventure and was tuckered out when we picked him up :)”
6. Chelsea N.
“Chelsea did great with my senior dog! She was very accommodating with the 2 times I had to change my pick up time. Lizzie even seemed to have a little pep in her step when I brought her home. I would definitely recommend her!”
7. Nathaniel L.
“Nathaniel does a great job taking care of Thunder! He keeps us updated with how he’s doing, he makes sure the dogs are outside as much as they can be, and Thunder is tired by the time we pick him up (which is tough to do). Nathaniel is very flexible as well with working around your schedule for pick up and drop off.”
8. Brittany F.
“Great overall experience. Would definitely recommend and will definitely rebook with Brittany.”
9. Robert C.
“Robert and his family were absolutely wonderful! Lots of room for your pups to run and play and plenty of love and affection. My boyfriend said if we never came back our dogs wouldn’t care if this was the family they were left with! 😂 It was a bit of a drive for us but completely worth it! Good with updates (not too many, not too few). We will definitely use Robert again. 🐾 🐶”
10. Alyssa L.
“Our puppy, Hank, had the BEST time at Alyssa’s! She was super sweet and accommodating. She was also great with the fact he’s still learning some of his manners and is super energetic! We’ll definitely use Alyssa again!”
11. Valerie & Ryan R.
“Valerie and Ryan provided great care for Gunnar! Great communications and photos during the stay, Gunnar needs daily oral meds for allergies and they made sure he was kept up to date. Highly recommended.”
12. Trisha D.
“Trisha was great! She was very sweet and kind to our dog. She took photos to let us know how Abbey was doing while we were away. We will use Trisha again ☺️”
13. Lynn "Beauty" B.
“I was seeking a sitter for my 6 month old Golden Retriever puppy. This was to be Jersey’s first stay away from home and also the first time in my life that I boarded any of my dogs. I was very anxious about the whole process and being able to find the quality of a sitter that I needed to feel comfortable. I read reviews for 10 – 15 sitters on Rover.com and found 3 that looked promising. Of the 3 Lynn’s reviews seemed to align with my needs more that any of the others. Throughout the process, Lynn was extremely supportive and made me feel at ease. We set up a “meet and greet” a few weeks before I was to go out of town. When Jersey and I arrived at her house, she and her 2 German Shorthair Pointers were waiting on the sidewalk to greet us. Lynn had suggested that meeting on neutral ground would reduce or eliminate any territorial issues between the dogs. She greeted Jersey enthusiastically and lovingly and had total control of her dogs, Daisy and Hank, which allowed Jersey and them to introduce themselves in a non-threatening manner. From there Lynn and her dogs gave Jersey and I a tour of the neighborhood and her home. She first took us to the church at the end of her street, where she has permission to let her dogs run free to get their daily play and exercise. She let her dogs loose and walked with Jersey and I around the property while Daisy and Hank played. We agreed that Jersey was not yet well enough trained to be off leash, so Lynn said she had a 30’ long lead that she would use when taking Jersey for her daily play with Daisy and Hank. Watching how well Lynn handled her own dogs convinced me I had found the right sitter. She showed Jersey and I her house, where the dogs sleep and all around the outside. Lynn has a pool that looks to be more for her dogs than for the humans of the household. For almost all of the time we were visiting, Hank swam around and around in the pool. After I confirmed the booking on Rover.com, Lynn and I set up one more date for Jersey and I to visit to ensure she was as comfortable with going there as possible. Each time we took Jersey, Hank and Daisy for walks down to the church and some playtime in the backyard. I also learned that Lynn and her husband served as the Vice President and President of the San Diego German Shorthair Pointer rescue which told me a lot about their love of animals and only increased my confidence that I had made the right choice. Lynn and I talked and emailed many times to ensure she knew everything about Jersey that she needed to know. One of the key things I needed from a sitter is for him/her to ensure that Jersey got her obedience commands practice every day while I was away. Jersey and I are participating in a training program and is important that she practice daily. Lynn had no problem doing that for us and with her experience and knowledge in dog handling, I was confident Jersey would get all that she needed. When the day came, my husband took Jersey for her 3 day stay with Lynn and her family. Being the professional that Lynn is, she kept Jersey very busy while my husband left, so Jersey wouldn’t be upset. Lynn took many pictures and some videos while I was away so that I could see how Jersey was doing. In addition to the daily routing, Lynn took the time to introduce Jersey to water and taught her to swim in the pool. From the video, it really looks like Jersey loved it. She also worked on some tricks with Jersey that I hadn’t been working on. When we arrived back to pick Jersey up, Jersey was all ready and glad to see us, but also appeared to be comfortable in her new home. She greeted us excitedly, but was not clingy. While Lynn and I talked, Jersey just went off to play on her own, coming back to the kitchen where we were standing to check periodically. When we got Jersey home, she just found her spot and went to sleep. She slept for most of the rest of the evening, which said to me she had been one very active puppy while we were away. I would recommend Lynn to anyone who cares about their dog. You will not be disappointed, nor need you have any fear that Lynn will not treat your dog as well as or better than you do yourself. She is experienced, competent, loving, caring and fun for our furry friends. She makes them her #1 priority while they are staying with her. She also has enrolled in many of the add-ons available through Rover.com, including 24 hour access to vets. MY only disappointment is that Lynn is now moving out of state and won’t be available for Jersey sitting in the future. What is a loss for San Diego dog lovers will now be a gain for those in PA. Best of luck, Lynn ‘Beauty’, in your new home and new life. ”
14. Roan L.
“Christianna, Roan, and Shamrock took exceptional care of our Beverly!! I got pictures of Beverly and Shamrock throughout our 3-day trip and was reassured that she was being well-taken care of!! Beverly now has a new friend in Shamrock!! Thank you so much!!”
15. Kyla & Cody D.
“Five stars for Kyla and Cody. They provided great care for my dog. They are a kind couple who clearly loves animals. I really appreciated the photos they sent with updates. I would definitely go back to them again.”
16. Kristine & James B.
“Wonderful experience! They were able to accommodate my last minute need for boarding. Zeke enjoyed playing with their dogs right away and seemed to feel right at home! Kristine sent pictures and updates daily. I will definitely rebook with them!”
17. Tara Y.
“Tara and Andrew were great with our 40 pound Foxhound puppy, Nigel. Their dog, Piper, and Nigel were well-matched for playing and energy, shared toys and were monitored by Tara when they were together to ensure good experiences. He was happy and tired by the time we got him home from our vacation! We gave 4 stars because this was our first time asking Tara to board him and we would've liked more unprompted pictures/videos and details throughout the day to build trust. That aside, we'll definitely ask her to board him again and/or to have daycare visits with Piper. Thanks for taking good care of Nigel.”
18. Angie F.
“I used to leave my dogs at home and have my kids watch them, or have family stop in. That scenario was stressful and I couldn't relax even though I was paying them and the dogs were at home in their own space. This is my first time leaving both dogs for an extended period of time, not at home, and with a new person watching them. ANGIE IS AMAZING, My dogs were walked daily and were able to roam in the house like they do at home. I love that she is home and has kids. Angie administered meds for them both too. I felt very comfortable and I was able to relax while on vacation. I would book with her again. 100%”
19. Larissa G.
“Larissa and her hubs were wonderful when they took care of my pup back in may! Received plenty of updates and photos and they were very responsive! Will definitely use them again :)”
