“Gisel and her family took great care of my girl Kola. Kola had a case of severely itchy paws pop up the day before we were set to leave town. I was able to get some meds from the vet before we left. I let Gisel know what was going on with Kola, as she was licking and chewing her paws and they were very red. I kept socks on her paws and gave her Benadryl in between the meds from the vet. Gisel also kept this up for the four days Kola stayed with her family. I was so thankful and appreciative of the extra care Gisel and her family gave Kola. Kola’s itchy paws popped up so last minute and Gisel assured me she would take great care of her and she did just that! I would definitely use Gisel again for Kola!”

While my family is not quite ready to make the commitment to another dog of our own, I truly miss having a pup around—and I would love to spoil yours while you’re away! I work from home, so your dog will have plenty of company and attention throughout the day. I only host one dog at a time, and I'm specifically looking for small, friendly dogs (30 lbs or less) who are comfortable in a family home. My 9-year-old son is also a huge dog lover and is very excited to have a furry friend around the house again! He’ll be part of the fun—playing, giving belly rubs, and enjoying plenty of cuddle time—so I'm looking for dogs who are comfortable and happy around children. My home is calm, cozy, and dog-friendly, with plenty of opportunities for cuddles, playtime, and attention. Because I'm selective about the dogs I will host, my goal is for your pup to feel like they’re staying with family—not being boarded at a kennel. I'm happy to care for dogs of all ages who enjoy a quiet, loving home environment. A meet-and-greet before every stay helps make sure it’s a great fit for everyone! I work from home full-time, so I’m able to be home with your dog throughout most of the day. My flexible schedule allows for regular potty breaks, playtime, walks, and plenty of attention throughout the day. I'm also home a lot on weekends and enjoy having a dog join me for family activities. I do have the occasional sports game, outing, or event, but these are generally during the daytime and I'm never away for more than about 8 hours at a time. Your pup will be welcome to settle into the normal family routine—whether that means following me around while I work, curling up nearby for a nap, playing with my son after school, or getting lots of cuddles on the couch. Your dog’s safety and comfort are my top priorities. I only host one dog at a time, so your pup will have my full attention and won’t have to share the house with other visiting dogs. My home is a single-level home with no stairs, making it easy for dogs of all ages to get around comfortably. I do not have a fenced-in yard, so dogs are always supervised and kept securely on a leash or harness whenever they’re outside. Inside, your dog is welcome to make themselves at home! I am a true dog lover, so cuddling on the couch, curling up next to me while I work, and even sleeping in bed are all perfectly fine. I want your pup to feel comfortable, safe, and loved while they’re here. I'll follow your dog’s normal routine as closely as possible, including feeding schedules, walks, medications, and any other care instructions you provide. I'll also keep you updated with photos and messages so you can relax knowing your pup is happy and well cared for. Before every stay, we’ll have a meet-and-greet to make sure your dog is comfortable in my home and that we’re a good fit for each other.

About: I have had my own dogs in my life - for over 35 years, both small ones and large ones. I learned to obedience train my German Shepherds and they were always welcomed wherever we went. Most people said that they would love to come back as my pet. I am currently working part time and have ample time to attend to your dog. I can have a dog overnight in the evenings and most weekends. My home sits on 3 acres with lots of room for your dog to run. Ill take your dog on nice walks. In my home, your dog can roam freely or I can crate your dog if you like.
