“This was our first time using the Rover app and meeting Megan and Vince. They are a wonderful couple who are dedicated to furry friends. They watched our two dogs, Harper and Elsie from Friday morning until Monday afternoon and they sent us lots of pictures and videos. I must say both dogs looked extremely happy and tired. I will definitely be contacting them again for future dates and will be sad if they're not available.”

“Theo came home happy and healthy! Megan and Jacob sent daily updates with pics. Theo was happy, relaxed, and clearly well cared for the entire stay. I really appreciated the updates and the peace of mind knowing my pup was in such good hands. It truly felt like a home away from home. I will absolutely be bringing my dog back and highly recommend them to anyone looking for a safe, loving place for their pet!””

“Thank you so much for taking such phenomenal care of Snoopy! You completely put our minds at ease from the start. The daily photo updates were great and put our minds at ease. It was clear that he was in good hands. Snoopy came home happy and relaxed and we will definitely be booking again!”

“Deanna & Family were wonderful Hosts to our big energetic lab. Their home, yard & location lends itself to be the perfect home away from home for your best fur friend. Communication was on point, pictures & updates were received. Highest of recommendations to Deanna & Family.”

“Ashley&jerrell was GREAT, it was our 1st time leaving our pup for a couple days and they made it soooo easy, and comfortable for all of us. Too sending us pictures and videos and quick response when we wanted to know how he was doing. Overall just Great 🫶 thank you”

“Krista was awesome. Met with Krista & her dogs before Bella stay for the weekend. That was great to get to know her & Krista to meet Bella. Communication was great & Bella was a happy girl”

“Oliver was so loved by Svitlana and her family. I had regular updates and photos, and my dog seemed so comfortable and happy while there. Svitlana was very communicative, and I highly recommend her. We will be repeat customers for sure.”
“Casey and Marwa are the most accommodating and caring dog sitters, we have ever had. They do their best to keep with the routines that Indiana knows and then add extra long walks, treats, brushing, playing, and lots of love. Their Pug Kevin is so cute and friendly. On top of that, they are super-flexible with drop off and pick up times and took Indy in on very short notice. Will definitely be back”

“As a first time Rover user, my wife and I were so happy to have found Whitney to take care of our 6 month old puppy while we were out of town for the night. She sent updates and pictures throughout the stay and was always available to answer any questions we had. We will definitely use Whitney again!!”

“Finn had another wonderful stay with Melanie! We loved the picture & video updates and felt at ease while we were away. My dog seems very comfortable at her house and loves playing with her pup!”

“I was seeking a sitter for my 6 month old Golden Retriever puppy. This was to be Jersey’s first stay away from home and also the first time in my life that I boarded any of my dogs. I was very anxious about the whole process and being able to find the quality of a sitter that I needed to feel comfortable. I read reviews for 10 – 15 sitters on Rover.com and found 3 that looked promising. Of the 3 Lynn’s reviews seemed to align with my needs more that any of the others. Throughout the process, Lynn was extremely supportive and made me feel at ease. We set up a “meet and greet” a few weeks before I was to go out of town. When Jersey and I arrived at her house, she and her 2 German Shorthair Pointers were waiting on the sidewalk to greet us. Lynn had suggested that meeting on neutral ground would reduce or eliminate any territorial issues between the dogs. She greeted Jersey enthusiastically and lovingly and had total control of her dogs, Daisy and Hank, which allowed Jersey and them to introduce themselves in a non-threatening manner. From there Lynn and her dogs gave Jersey and I a tour of the neighborhood and her home. She first took us to the church at the end of her street, where she has permission to let her dogs run free to get their daily play and exercise. She let her dogs loose and walked with Jersey and I around the property while Daisy and Hank played. We agreed that Jersey was not yet well enough trained to be off leash, so Lynn said she had a 30’ long lead that she would use when taking Jersey for her daily play with Daisy and Hank. Watching how well Lynn handled her own dogs convinced me I had found the right sitter. She showed Jersey and I her house, where the dogs sleep and all around the outside. Lynn has a pool that looks to be more for her dogs than for the humans of the household. For almost all of the time we were visiting, Hank swam around and around in the pool. After I confirmed the booking on Rover.com, Lynn and I set up one more date for Jersey and I to visit to ensure she was as comfortable with going there as possible. Each time we took Jersey, Hank and Daisy for walks down to the church and some playtime in the backyard. I also learned that Lynn and her husband served as the Vice President and President of the San Diego German Shorthair Pointer rescue which told me a lot about their love of animals and only increased my confidence that I had made the right choice. Lynn and I talked and emailed many times to ensure she knew everything about Jersey that she needed to know. One of the key things I needed from a sitter is for him/her to ensure that Jersey got her obedience commands practice every day while I was away. Jersey and I are participating in a training program and is important that she practice daily. Lynn had no problem doing that for us and with her experience and knowledge in dog handling, I was confident Jersey would get all that she needed. When the day came, my husband took Jersey for her 3 day stay with Lynn and her family. Being the professional that Lynn is, she kept Jersey very busy while my husband left, so Jersey wouldn’t be upset. Lynn took many pictures and some videos while I was away so that I could see how Jersey was doing. In addition to the daily routing, Lynn took the time to introduce Jersey to water and taught her to swim in the pool. From the video, it really looks like Jersey loved it. She also worked on some tricks with Jersey that I hadn’t been working on. When we arrived back to pick Jersey up, Jersey was all ready and glad to see us, but also appeared to be comfortable in her new home. She greeted us excitedly, but was not clingy. While Lynn and I talked, Jersey just went off to play on her own, coming back to the kitchen where we were standing to check periodically. When we got Jersey home, she just found her spot and went to sleep. She slept for most of the rest of the evening, which said to me she had been one very active puppy while we were away. I would recommend Lynn to anyone who cares about their dog. You will not be disappointed, nor need you have any fear that Lynn will not treat your dog as well as or better than you do yourself. She is experienced, competent, loving, caring and fun for our furry friends. She makes them her #1 priority while they are staying with her. She also has enrolled in many of the add-ons available through Rover.com, including 24 hour access to vets. MY only disappointment is that Lynn is now moving out of state and won’t be available for Jersey sitting in the future. What is a loss for San Diego dog lovers will now be a gain for those in PA. Best of luck, Lynn ‘Beauty’, in your new home and new life. ”

“Jenny is great! We booked her for our baby boy who is a big baby and she did great with him. She sent pictures of him and checked in. She was wonderful very nice and kind. I have officially found our dog sitter she willl be the only one from now on who will watch our fur baby. First we was kinda nervous because any time we go away Tyson won’t eat until we come back but Jenny got him to eat.Thank you so much Jenny your the best”

“Could not have been happier! Got pics and videos of my dogs with updates throughout our trip. Could tell they both had a great time when we picked them up. We will definitely use Bria's services in the future!”

“Absolutely incredible.. Our furbabies were safe & happy while our family was on vacation.. Candace & her family gave our 3 cuddle buddies the best care. We received pics & updates.. It was an awesome experience for all of us.. We will definitely rebook w Candace again..”

“Smooch had a great time during her stay and was a very happy pup when she returned! I am especially thankful she had so much room to roam on your property. Thank you so much for loving her like we love her!”

“Gus had a great stay! He came home happy and healthy. I felt very comfortable with Jill and her family. Very very nice folks. Gus warmed up quickly. Jill kept me updated with pictures and messages. And they were very accommodating of my strange schedule. I wouldn't hesitate to use them again and I highly recommend them.”

“I can’t say enough about Gisel and her family that gave us a warm welcome the moment we connected. At our meet and greet, I knew she was the one to host our #furbaby Cody. Even her children were loving towards him. They are a wonderful family and far exceeded our expectations of caring for our Cody with pics and videos the whole seven days. Our neighbor uses her as well for their Yorkie and are very pleased with the care they’ve received. The bonus for us, she’s a stay at home mom and Cody was not left alone all day. She has small dogs as well and he was able to meet new friends. This was our first time leaving Cody without family and Gisel eased all of my anxiety because of her love for animals. We’ll be using her again soon.😊”

The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.
All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Many sitters in PA ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your dog to the closest veterinarian. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your dog is showing signs of possible illness.
For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorization form for your regular vet. An authorization form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.
Every qualified booking made on Rover is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes reimbursement for eligible emergency vet care.
