About: I am a retired science teacher with a very flexible schedule. I was a Great Dane mom for 20 years and have cared for dogs of all sizes and ages. I am recently retired and still building my "new" routine, which currently has lots of time to care for your dog(s) either in your home or possibly mine. I currently have no pets (my dog in passed in July, 2023) and I hope that my work with Rover will bring some extra joy to my days as well as those of your dog(s). I also enjoy hobbies such as golf, daily workouts/walks, and reading. At my home, I have a beautiful back yard that is great for quick walks or potty breaks on leash. The local park is only a 10-minute walk away. My large deck is a great place for dogs to get some fresh air, weather permitting. The main level of the home is mostly hardwood floors. I have plenty of space for a crate and food/water bowls. I am a respectful, responsible individual and will follow your instructions for pet care and visits with care and the greatest attention to detail.
“Awesome dog sitter with no problems noted. Able to take dog last minute due to change changes of plans with no prior bookings with the sitter. Send pictures during time and Kygo really enjoyed his time there I think he can’t talk.”

About: Hi there! I’m Courtney – lifelong animal lover, seasoned pet parent, and your pet’s next favorite human. 🐾 From fluffy kittens to wise senior pups, I’ve cared for just about every kind of furry (and finned!) friend you can think of - cats, dogs, fish, hamsters, guinea pigs, rabbits… basically everything except the slithery and scaly crew (sorry, lizards and snakes, you're adorable but not my specialty!). With a lifetime of experience and a current household that includes four cats and two dogs (yes, it’s as wonderfully chaotic as it sounds), I’ve seen it all - from zoomies and belly rubs to insulin shots and joint supplements. I’ve raised pets from their earliest days through to their golden years, including those with special needs like hip dysplasia and diabetes. Administering routine meds and providing compassionate, attentive care is just part of the package. I know firsthand that pets are family, and when you're away, you deserve peace of mind knowing your beloved companions are safe, happy, and well cared for. Whether your pet is a snuggly couch potato, an energetic explorer, or a quirky little character with special routines, I’ll treat them like one of my own. Let’s make your time away as stress-free as a sunny nap in a windowsill. ☀️🐕🐈⬛ I have a flexible daytime desk job, allowing me to set my own schedule and typically wrapping each day by 5p so my evenings are free. I'm happily married with 3 older teens, so we have lots of flexibility to care for our pets and yours, so everyone gets time and attention! I'd love to provide your pet with care that suits their individual and unique needs, whether that's going for walks, playing in an enclosed yard, or hanging out for a bit for belly rubs, cuddles, and treats. I'm flexible to each pet's needs and want to be sure they feel loved and cared for in your absence. And of course, it's important to me to be sure they are in a clean, safe, fed environment during the times that I'm not there - whether that means making sure water dishes are full, messes are cleaned up, doors are secured, temperatures are comfortable, etc. I've worked with pets who prefer crate-training to those who are allowed free rein, and am comfortable with whatever YOUR structure is for your pet. If they're happy, I'm happy. For care in our home, we do have 2 English bulldogs who are very chill with other dogs and plenty of room to keep everyone separated if needed or preferred. Our dogs don’t like cats so we do not offer cat care in our home (our cats are kept separately from our dogs) but are happy to come to your home for cat care!
“Katie and her family are the absolute BEST!! They are such a loving and caring family and do everything to make your pets feel at home! Katie has great communication and sent pics and videos throughout the week, updating us on our pup. Hands down the best experience we've had!! 100% recommend Katie and her family!!”

“We couldn’t be happier with the care our puppy dog received from Jena! From the moment we dropped him off, we felt completely at ease. We received daily updates with videos and pictures, which were such a comforting touch and really showed how much fun he was having. It was clear he was being treated like one of the family. When he came home, he was happy, healthy—and completely exhausted from all the playtime and attention! We're so grateful to have found such a trustworthy and caring sitter. Highly recommend!”

“Katlyn, Zach, and their family made our little Missy feel like family during her weekend stay at their home. We really appreciated all the notes and the pictures shared while we were away. We look forward to sharing our Missy with their family the next time we travel!”

“Alexis was very easy to work with and communicated well with us. She took great care of our dog while we were away and updated us with texts and photos. We would definitely recommend her! Her kids were an added bonus for our dog to cuddle and play with!”

“Five stars isn’t enough. This was my first time ever leaving my dog overnight, and I was honestly nervous. She’s anxious and very shy, but Carla was calm, patient, and just understood her. She didn’t push and let my dog warm up at her own pace. The updates and photos really helped me relax. I’d absolutely book with Carla again.”

“Luna always has the best time when staying with Lora! There is plenty of room for her to play and a warm place for her to sleep. Lora keeps us up to date with photos and videos throughout the stay.”

About: What makes my pet sitting a little bit different is that my lab can come with me. I know how much some dogs love to have a playmate, so I thought I would bring that experience. And don’t worry I will make sure you come home to a clean house too! Of course, I understand every dog is different. Before any stay, I would want to make sure our dogs are comfortable together and bringing Koda is a positive experience. I am a loving, caring, attentive, pet owner that understands pets are family. If your dog would like a four legged friend along for the adventure, we would love to meet you both! I am available early evenings for walks, and weekends for pet sitting. I work full-time serving people with disabilities in employment. My schedule can be flexible. I am happy to take dogs to the park, for long walks, or to play in your backyard. What ever makes you most comfortable. As far as my whisker friends, you deserve plenty of playtime too!

The personalized, in-home nature of pet care through Rover can mean more individual attention for your pet.
Every sitter on Rover has their own routine. Depending on the arrangements you agree on before the stay, a sitter can follow your dog’s regular feeding schedule, provide a comfortable place to sleep, offer companionship, and support their usual exercise and play needs.
95% of sitters in Larue can provide daily exercise during dog boarding stays. Depending on the sitter, their home environment, and your dog’s needs, this may include walks, outdoor play, indoor enrichment activities, or supervised play with compatible dogs. These activities are not automatically included with every booking, so ask the sitter what a typical day looks like.
During the Meet & Greet, discuss your dog’s usual exercise and play routine, whether they can safely interact with other dogs, and any activities or restrictions the sitter should follow. You can also ask the sitter to send photo and message updates during the stay so you can see how your dog is spending their time.
Preparing for drop-off is easy when you have a checklist! To help your dog settle into their Larue home-away-from-home, we recommend packing:
- Health and safety essentials such as their ID tags, vaccination records, medication, and emergency vet or secondary caregiver contacts.
- Food and gear such as harnesses, collars, food (portioned by day), and an item that smells like you.
- Special instructions such as a list of training cues, medical administration needs, or favorite hang-out spots in your Larue.
Tip: You can upload your dog’s routine and medical info directly onto their profile so your sitter always has the details at their fingertips.

The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.
All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee, which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page.
While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Many sitters in PA ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your dog to the closest veterinarian. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your dog is showing signs of possible illness.
For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorization form for your regular vet. An authorization form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.
Every qualified booking made on Rover is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes reimbursement for eligible emergency vet care.
Adding another pup to the pack? Most sitters and walkers offer a reduced rate for additional dogs. You’ll find these exact rates listed under the "Services" tab on any sitter's profile. Since every dog is unique, final pricing may vary depending on the level of care required.
