“We couldn’t have been happier with Latisha and how well she took care of our furry kids. She was prompt, engaging, took great care of our home and did small things we asked of her: Gabe the mail, bring the trash cans up. Latisha sent pictures and videos, daily. She keep us informed of what was happening in the house and how well our GSP was doing and how mischievous our corgi was being... Our girls absolutely loved Latisha! The little one went lookin for her, after she left! I would highly recommend Latisha! I just hope she doesn’t get too busy, and doesn’t have time to sit for us, in the future... ?”

About: My journey with animals started when I was a kid; I remember my very first dog. He was a lab mix, and his name was Dopey. He was indeed dopey, and I loved him more for it. From the moment I met him, I knew I wanted to always be around animals. My professional career began in 2019 as a bather at a common Petstore. I worked there for a few months before deciding I wanted a more personal environment to care for the animals and get quality time with them, so I left corporate to work for mom and pop grooming salons, daycares and boarding facilities. To gain more knowledge to help care for the animals, I attended Animal Behavior College in Vet Assistance and obtained my Animal CPR certification. With that in hand, I decided to work in a vet office to help further educatemyself for the animals. While working at a Vet Office, I became a Lead Bather and quickly gravitated toward special needs, aggressive and elderly pups. I currently work at a mom and pop grooming Salon in Allen, Tx. I'm working part-time at a grooming salon, so I have plenty of availability to work with. I have early morning availability for walks and home visits and availability after 3:30pm. I have 2 furniture kennels and a pop up kennel. I have multiple running water fountains through my home. I have two dogs of my own, who are walked 4 to 5 times a day. We tend to do short walks in grass during the heated afternoons.

“So grateful for Tristan watching our cats last minute before a road trip! He connected really well with our cat who has some separation anxiety and that’s what we were hoping for! It’s hard to leave him knowing he can literally worry himself sick but when we got back both cats were doing and feeling great. We’ll definitely hire Tristan again when we’re out of town!”

“I was very nervous about leaving my pups for the first time but after meeting this sweet girl I was put more at easy. My dogs can be a lot and she seemed to take it all in stride. I appreciate the great care she took of them. I would definitely book her again.”

“Marisol did a fantastic job taking care of my golden doodle, who can be a little particular when it comes to people. She was patient, kind, and made him feel comfortable right away. She sent daily updates with pictures. I came home to a happy pup and a tidy house — couldn’t have asked for a better experience. Highly recommend her!”

“Kathy and Jeremy were super sweet and professional! Sent us tons of pictures and videos while we were on vacation away from our fur babies. We greatly appreciate them! Our two pups seemed to really like them, I felt that they were safe and happy while we were gone. Will have them dogsit in the future. ☺️”

About: I have been caring for my own dogs and close family and friends pets for about 10 years now. I have always had a dog, since I can remember and I have always loved animals. I take my dog outside to use the restroom once every hour, more if he shows signs of needing to use the restroom. I do exercise daily, so if your pet needs that I can provkde it. I know what each breed of dogs needs as far as care, so if you have medicine that needs to be administered during care I can do that too. I’m very outgoing and flexible with my schedule. I provide a lot of after hours and weekend care. That’s when I am most available to spend the most quality time I work from home so I have a lot of free time during the day to play, go for walks and even some grooming if needed. I have a fenced apartment complex that has areas for dogs to use the restroom and play, there are many doggy bag stands around and a big open field right across the street.

About: Growing up I always had animals around me. My childhood dog, Twinkie was a cute little yappy Pomeranian. She was a picky eater, but would always save a treat in her bowl and only ate it with me after I came home from school. In high school I volunteered at the local Wildlife Rescue where I cared for various small injured animals. I was responsible for feeding and weighing them, cleaning their cages, raising meal worms, and even got to observe surgeries. After college I lived with a veterinarian so I am used to caring for random foster animals without notice. I work from home with a flexible schedule to care for animals. I can type on my computer in the same room your pet naps. I can take your pet on walks at any time needed, though I recommend mornings and evenings due to the current heat outside. I cook and clean for all of my own meals and can do the same for your pet. I can schedule cuddles or play time as needed throughout the day as well. :) I have a downstairs lounge, an upstairs living room, and a few bonus rooms in which your pet can relax. There are no other animals or plants in these areas. Crating is fine, but I prefer animals to have more space and freedom to move about. If I am coming to your home I am happy to follow any rules or special instructions you may have. During down times I will be using my laptop quietly in the same room as your pet.

About: I love animals, especially dogs and cats! I’ve been obsessed with them since young. I’ve volunteered at shelters and worked at veterinary offices. I’ve raised energetic puppies and cared for a handful of elderly dogs. I am pet CPR and first aid trained. I would love to meet your fur baby and see if my pets and home are a good fit for their stay! This is a side business for me as I am a remote worker who just wants to add more income and joy to her life. I would follow the same schedule your pet receives at home (feeding time, sleep, potty breaks, etc). I have a 6 foot tall wooden fenced yard and a husky girl who has the energy to play all day but if your pet tells her they aren’t interested, she will understand (with a sad face of course). I like to think of pets as family so the couches and beds are not restricted to them. I use free and clear laundry detergent and natural home cleaners. I also do not feed table scraps unless it is okayed by the parent -even then it would be pet safe scraps. I know dog CPR and first aid. I am also aware of what foods to avoid and take allergies very seriously. My yard is regularly treated for any fleas or ticks.

About: With 10 years of experience as a veterinary technician, I bring a level of expertise to pet care that's hard to find. My entire life has been devoted to the well-being of animals—from dogs and cats to horses, goats, chickens, and reptiles. This isn't just a side gig for me; it's a continuation of my professional career. When it comes to dogs, I understand their unique needs, from energetic puppies to seniors who need gentle care. I can handle any personality with confidence, providing the right amount of physical and mental stimulation. For cats, my care is truly specialized. As a Cat Friendly Certified professional, I'm uniquely skilled in creating a stress-free environment for your feline companion, respecting their space and understanding their unique communication. My skills in administering medications, managing special diets, and recognizing potential health issues mean you can have total peace of mind. You're not just hiring a pet sitter; you're getting a dedicated professional who understands how to keep your beloved family member safe, happy, and healthy. I work as a vet tech on a set, three-day schedule. This predictability is a huge benefit, as it allows me to block out my other four days specifically for my pet-sitting clients. My routine is carefully planned around your pet's needs. I offer both in-home care and boarding to best fit your pet's needs. In Your Home: My goal is to maintain your pet's routine and comfort in their familiar environment. I work closely with you to understand your pet's specific needs, from feeding schedules to walk routes. I am highly vigilant about home security and your pet's safety, ensuring doors are locked and all protocols are followed precisely. In My Home: My home is a safe, clean, and welcoming space with a fully fenced yard. When pets stay with me, they become part of our family. I am dedicated to providing a secure and fun environment with plenty of supervised playtime and attention.

About: I’m a professional dog breeder. I developed this passion from watching my father breed dogs as a kid. I’ve literally had dogs my entire life, and they have always been considered family to me! I understand they each have their own personalities and the best “dog people” know how to cater to that fact and love the babies as their individual selves. I don’t know a life without dogs. So, caring for them comes naturally. With being a full time entrepreneur, I can make my own schedule, daily. As a breeder, I’m constantly doing things with my dogs. We have a daily care routine from the beginning of the day until bedtime. I even check on them throughout the night to make sure everyone is ok. I have no problem adjusting my schedule to the needs of the baby. I have a fenced in home. I also have dogs of my own who are friendly and well socialized. Your dogs can have the option of a crate for a safe space, or they can relax on the couch with me and my other fur babies. We can go on walks around the neighborhood as well. I adjust to the comfort levels of the parents and the babies.

About: I have been in the veterinary field since 2021. You can say I’m very well trained! Haha. I actually train on the side with a pal of mine we worked for petco and he was the dog trainer and taught me everything I know! (Akc certified training) Do not be afraid to ask me questions! On my free time I love to walk pets including my own! Life can get very busy and I understand not everyone can have a spare moment to walk their fur babies for as long as they want. I am not offering at home services as I feel that your fur babies will do best in their own known environment, I will ensure they are as comfortable as can be starting with their surroundings! Big or small your babies will be in great hands.

“Great communication, very accommodating. Took great care of our pup, took him on some nice adventures and sent plenty of pictures. Highly recommend.”

Jason C.
“As a veterinarian, I’ve met countless pet lovers and caregivers—but few have the natural connection with animals that Jason does. He’s not just reliable; he genuinely enjoys being around the pets he cares for, and they clearly feel the same way. Whenever he pet-sits for me, I can see on our home cameras that the moment he walks in, he’ll flop onto the couch—and within seconds, both my dog and cat are curled up in his lap. It’s their favorite cuddle spot, and it’s become part of their routine when he’s around. That kind of comfort and trust from animals speaks volumes. I always know my pets are in loving, capable hands when I’m away. He’s attentive, gentle, and calm under pressure—whether he’s giving meds, managing quirks in behavior, or just making sure everyone feels safe and settled. I truly wish he hadn’t relocated to Texas, because finding someone with that kind of intuitive, compassionate care isn’t easy. If you're looking for someone who treats your pets like family—and who your pets will instinctively trust—he's your person.”

Maddy M.

“Always love having Maddy stay with our big bear. He loves her so much and we know he’s in great care with her! Makes for a relaxing vacation!”

“I can't recommend Valerie enough! We have a senior dog, Max, who requires a lot of extra care, including daily medication for his arthritis. Valerie was not only professional and reliable but also incredibly compassionate. They were meticulous about following the medication schedule and even sent us photo updates of Max taking his pill. We felt completely at ease knowing he was in such capable hands. He was happy and well-cared for when we returned, and we'll definitely be using Valerie's services again.”

Javun E.
“I had the pleasure of having Javun watch my dog, Patti, for a week while I was out of town. I was so impressed with his care and attention to detail. He took Patti on daily walks, sent me pictures while I was away, played with her in the park, and even gave her a bath. Patti was so happy and well-behaved when I came home, and I knew that Javun had taken great care of her. Javun is a kind, compassionate, and experienced dog sitter. He is clearly passionate about animals, and it shows in the way he interacts with them. He is also very knowledgeable about dog care, and he was always happy to answer my questions. I highly recommend Javun to anyone looking for a dog sitter. He is the perfect person to provide your furry friend with the love and care they deserve.”

Shores Of Eastern Hills pet parents share their Rover experiences
When Alexis came to meet Kissie she was so friendly and Kissie loved her immediately! When we left for our trip I was so worried because she was just 7 months old, but Alexis texted me everyday with pictures and information. She and Alexis's dog Luka got a long so well and became best friends. She was so good to her! We will be asking her to watch Kissie from now on!

Clint was the best. He kept us updated daily about our very neurotic and needy hound and from everything we can tell kept him happy and calm while we were away for two weeks! Clint was always very responsive and we were always comfortable that everything was handled well and with care. Thank you very much Clint!
