Dog Sitting in Sherwood

About: We are a family that loves dogs and lead an active life! Our kiddos are 13 and 10 and are always learning proper care and respect to animals of all kinds. I have had dogs all of my life and provided training opportunities, vet visits, and love and I wouldn't have it any other way for my children. There are plenty of play opportunities for your pet, but also love a good cuddle time! We love bringing new dogs into our home and making them part of our family. Our current dogs, Hero (3), Lexi (12), and Timber (4 months) are well behaved and trained and love having friends to play with. Because we have 2 kids and 3 dogs, we only watch 1-2 other dogs at a time in order for guest dogs to adjust and relax. I work from home 3 days per week and only go into the office for about 4 hours 2 days per week. My schedule is flexible. I have a fenced dog yard and do not let Rover dogs be outside alone. I feed all the dogs separately to avoid any conflicts.

About: I grew up with 3 dogs and have been a pet sitter pretty much my entire childhood and well into adulthood. I have experience with following strict diet plans and administering medication. I’m a teacher off for the summer so I am free pretty much 7 days a week, any time of day. I have a short appointment on Thursdays at 1pm but other than that, I’m free as a bird! I’m familiar with different strategies on how to keep pets in the house (I grew up with 3 runners!) and safely tucked away in their crates if needed.

About: I used to work at a Humane Society and I own 3 big dogs myself! I come to you with 5+ yrs of vet professional experience, as well as currently being an employee at a specialty vet in the area! I'm currently working full time at a small local vet clinic in Tualatin and I'd love to be more involved in the animal care game and in touch with the community. I have full availability on my days off, but am open to walks/drop-ins after work! Pets deserve their space and to be cared for on their own terms. I want every pet to feel loved and safe in my care. About: We honor the spaces of pets and allow them the time to become comfortable. We always assure they feel safe, and know we are a guest in their space or they are an honored guest in our family home. We love spending time with animals and have been fortunate to provide care to friends animals overnight and for daily care. My husband and I work full-time, on opposite schedules. We are available evenings during the week and weekends. During the week, we are more than happy to board pets as needed. I work from home, and he works only a few days a week. We have a fenced yard and we live in a dog lover neighborhood. We take our friends dogs on walks often, as needed. We have cared for family and friends dogs overnight and they all enjoyed their time at our home. We tend to spoil pets (based on parents discretion of course) while they are with us. Our home is their home, and we never want a pet to feel unsafe or unhappy while spending time with our family. Our family will care for them like our own.

About: I’ve been working with animals since I was little, I’ve owned goats, cats, dogs, ferrets, and rabbits! (Rats and gerbils too) I love animals and have a lot of patience (which came in handy when training my dog Mira) I’d love to work with you and help you take care of your fur babies! I'm a stay at home mom with school aged kids and a puppy at home. My schedule during the day is very flexible so I can make sure your pet gets all the attention, play time, and walks they need! I'll maintain and respect your home and your pet's routines. I'm happy to send photo updates and ensure your pet feels safe and secure. We have two kids and a puppy at my home in a quiet neighborhood with many walking trails. Kid friendly dogs with basic training will fit in very well.

About: I have been caring for animals in some capacity for as long as I can remember! Aside from my personal animals, I have provided pet care for friends & family, worked as a veterinary assistant, and am currently a second year veterinary student at the OSU CCVM. One of my beliefs is that each animal has a unique set of needs, both mental & physical, and as such I strive to adjust my approach to meet their individual needs to the best of my ability. I am a Fear Free certified professional. I am currently on summer break from school so have open availability and ample time to spend with your fluffy friends! I am available weekdays and weekends. At this time my services can only be offered where the pet resides. I am open to staying overnight, performing a few daily check-ins, or whatever will make the pet the most comfortable in your absence.
