About: NOTE: BASED OUT OF BURLINGTON, VT FOR THE COLLEGE SEASON I’ve owned and cared for dogs, cats, and everything in-between for as long as I can remember. From pit-bulls to terriers, handicapped chickens to one eyed kittens and animals with at least 8 legs, i’ve seen it all. Apart from caring for my own dogs, cats, and other pets over the years, I did freelance petsitting and dog walking in and around my neighborhood for around seven years, ranging from dog walks while the owner was at work, to late night cat feedings and prescription medication administration, to trying to give a rabbit a bath. I have a high level of experience caring for both puppies/kittens and elderly dogs and cats, having worked to foster puppies and kittens with my local ASPCA for nearly a decade as well as helped raise and train one of my family dogs, and care for my elderly, disabled dog in her later years. I also have background training with the ASPCA regarding animal safety (specifically reactive or defensive dogs) and basic dog and cat body language, crucial aspects of keeping everyone involved healthy and happy! I’m currently a college student home for the summer- my schedule is very open and very flexible, depending on the individual needs of the animal. I can match whatever level of energy your pet needs within the home- whether it be constant cuddles and attention, hours of playtime, or just an omniscient hand filling the food bowl and grabbing the leash! I’m comfortable administering oral or topical medications, able to control and crate dogs if the need arises, and (i’d like to think) i’ve learned some pretty good strategies to stop unwanted barking late at night over the years. I value the mental and physical comfort of the animal i’m caring for first and foremost, whether that means hands on attention or a more quiet, calm approach to time spent with your pet. I’m willing to care for and spend time with shy or reactive dogs as long as they’re within my size range. Having owned both a very senile, timid dog and a very reactive, defensive dog, it’s important to me that they receive the amount of care and attention in the home they deserve :)

About: I’ve had the privilege of working with dogs of all sizes, from German Shepherds to Jack Russell Terriers, Brittany Spaniels, Pitties, and a whole lot of amazing mutts in between. My first job as a groomer gave me experience in providing care for all kinds of pups, and now, I’m the proud owner of a 1.5 year old Bernese! I truly enjoy working with dogs of all energy levels. I’m an active dog lover and enjoy hiking, walks, and playing with frisbees. I also love engaging dogs with mental toys to keep them entertained. I’m currently training my own dog, which has given me an even deeper understanding of how important it is to follow owner instructions and maintain consistency for a dog’s routine, I can administer oral and topical medications to your pet as needed. Our home has a fenced in yard on one side for safety and an open area on the other, we have a small wooded area dogs love to sniff and dig and that is what is for! I can’t wait to meet your puppies and offer them the care, attention, and fun they deserve! I have recently quit my job in Healthcare to pursue a new degree, I currently have classes between 10 and 1 pm three days of the week so I am quite flexible for your dog. On Thursday and Friday my husband works from home. Your pups will have constant care. My house layout is very convenient, it's all in one floor and the house can be divided if your pup like to sleep in a bed we have a guest room and available bed, if you rather us to crate them we also have a 42 inches crate that is big enough for big size dogs. Our yard is fenced on one side. Every door has a second door so no animal runs away or bolt through doors. We have several baby gates.

“Leslie was such a fabulous find via Rover. We reached out with a last minute request and Leslie went above and beyond to accommodate our last minute schedule request AND to provide for our kitties. One of our kitties is very sensitive, has a difficult time warming up to new comers, and is notoriously difficult while taking her pill. Leslie followed instructions to the “T” and was committed to the care of our kitties. Leslie was wonderful and we will certainly be booking with her again in future and couldn’t give her a better review or higher recommendation!!”

“We were away for 6 days. Mina stayed at our house with Bronc. She visited ahead of time to get the "lay of the land" and instructions. Bronc is a 4 1/2 yr old, active CBR. Mina did GREAT. She sent a couple phots every day. Bronc was happy to see us when we came home but not shot out of a cannon. He was calm. That says it all for an active CBR!”

About: I’ve taken care of all kinds of dogs and cats before. I also have plenty experience taking care of bigger animals as I used to be a working student at the barn I boarded my horses at from when I was 10-15. I’ve been trusted by many friends and family to take care of their furry friends including but not limited to horses, bunnies, fish, dogs, and cats. I have experience with grooming dogs as well due to having a golden doodle of my own. If you have any more questions feel free to ask! I currently work a Part-time job that schedules me 2-3 times a week so I have a lot of availability to make house visits or spend the day as much as you would need me to! I also love to go on walks and take hikes so if I am looking after an Active dog it is no problem! If your dog likes to play with other dogs I have a fenced in yard and two other dogs of mine who are very friendly. I am very neat and organized so the chance of your animal eating something or getting into something they’re not supposed to is very slim.

About: I had two dogs growing up so I have been around them my whole life. I currently have a golden retriever that lives with me as well. I have dog-sat a basset hound since he was a puppy as well as a miniature dachshund and helped train them. I have a lot of patience so puppies are no issue! I also love getting my steps in so long walks are okay with me! I am okay with going to your residence or bringing your dog to mine as long as they are friendly! (There are good trails to walk where I live and I have a private dog park as well) I am currently on summer break from college so I am around every day other than a vacation I have planned. When school starts back up at the end of August my schedule will be a little less open. I have a golden retriever that gets along with other animals very well!! I am very respectful of others homes and will make sure to follow all instructions given.

About: Hi, I’m Laura! I grew up with dogs and have recently come to love cats too (thanks to my apartment building’s no-dog policy…rude! But I get it.) I work from home and can often be available on short notice if you’re nearby. About: Since the age of 16 I have happily taken care of cats, dogs, bunnies, and other creatures for neighbors and friends. My natural ability to connect with animals coupled with my meticulous care and attention to their specific feeding, walking, and medicine schedules make me a great animal caretaker. I am currently only working part time, so I am available to walk and pet sit on both weekdays and weekends from morning until evening. My work shifts are only in the afternoons twice a week. I am a responsible guest who is willing to accommodate clients’ specific wants and needs im regards to pet sitting, whether it be for quick dog walks or longer stays. If your pet needs to be crated while alone, I am more than happy to accommodate. If they are not allowed in certain rooms or on certain pieces of furniture, I will make note of that. If they are allowed to roam wherever, I am also happy to allow that! Additional, I respect guests’ privacy and treat their homes with the utmost care and respect while pet sitting.
