“Kim was amazing! I have 2 dogs who required a little extra instruction and Kim was so great. She followed all our instructions and kept me updated during our time away. Our pups seemed to really love her and I’m excited to have her dog sit again knowing my dogs are in great hands.”

About: I have an extensive history working with animals! I earned my B.S. in Zoology from Colorado State University, where I also volunteered at a local animal shelter walking dogs and spent time at a wolf sanctuary helping with feeding, grooming, and habitat maintenance. Professionally, I have two years of animal husbandry experience as an Animal Care Technician, ensuring high standards of care for a variety of species. On the side, I’ve regularly pet-sat for friends, providing both overnight stays and daily check-ins depending on their needs. I genuinely enjoy working with dogs and would love to get back into pet care. Whether it’s a quick walk or extended care, I’m committed to keeping your pets happy, safe, and well-loved while you’re away! I’m a strength coach with early-morning and late-afternoon sessions, so I have a lot of flexibility in my schedule for walks, drop-ins, or house sitting. My weekends are pretty wide open with the exception of Sunday mornings! When caring for pets. I start every new booking with a 10–15-minute meet & greet so your pup can sniff me out on their own terms. It lets us establish trust, discuss routines, and go over any special needs. Walks: I bring my friendly dog, Astro, as a calm “wing-pup” (only if you’re comfortable). He helps your dog feel at ease and adds a bit of social enrichment. We stick to your preferred route, pace, and leash style. I carry water, collapsible bowls, and waste bags, and I always monitor weather, footing, and traffic for maximum safety. I'll send you a recap text or photo so you know exactly how your dog did on our outing. Drop-In Visits: I arrive at your scheduled time, lock up behind me, and follow your home’s security instructions. During a typical visit, I’ll refresh food and water, let your dog out for a potty break, administer any medications, spend quality playtime or go on a brief walk, and do a quick tidy-up of their space. Before I leave, I send a photo update and note any observations (energy level, appetite, etc.). House Sitting: I'll stay overnight in your home, keeping to your dog’s normal meal, walk, and bedtime routine so there’s minimal disruption. I’ll bring in mail/packages, water any plants you may have, and adjust lights per your instructions, so your home looks lived-in and secure. You’ll get daily check-ins, photos throughout your trip.

“Alexis did a great job caring for our four cats while we were away. We have a senior cat that requires daily medication, and knowing she was continuing to receive excellent care brought us peace of mind while we were away. We also have three foster kittens and they received plenty of playtime while Alexis was housesitting. We would love to have Alexis back to care for our cats!”
