About: I come from a major animal loving family & have been surrounded by many different types of animals as far back as I can remember! I'm surprised it took me so long to make it into a profession, but I've been caring for other peoples' pets & homes for about 10 years now. My schedule is currently very flexible & I am often open to travel a ways from home for longer sits. I have my own cat, Frank, who is fairly aloof & quite understanding when I come home smelling like other animals. 😹 My current home is not suitable for having extra pets in it, so getting to sit in YOUR home is great for all parties involved - I get my cute animal fix, you get peace of mind that your pets & home are safe & well looked after, & your pets don't have too much disruption to their daily routine so they're less stressed while you're away!
About: Hi, I’m Sabrina ! I have been surrounded by all types, shapes, and sizes of animals my entire life. Over the last 6+ years, I’ve channeled that lifelong passion into dedicated, hands-on pet care. As the proud owner of two Pit Bulls and a small Pekinese 🐶🐶🐶🐾 I know exactly what it takes to handle large, strong, and powerful breeds safely on a leash. I am entirely confident managing pullers and high-energy dogs, but I am equally gentle, patient, and attentive with small breeds. No matter the size, your dog's safety and happiness are always my top priorities.✨🐾 ☀️ Flexible Morning & Afternoon Availability I specialize in daytime care! I am available for walks and drop-in visits during mornings and afternoons. This makes me the perfect fit for your midday pet care needs while you are at work, at school, or running errands. 🏡 Reliable Drop-In Visits for Dogs & Birds Need someone to check on your pets while you're away for the day? I offer dependable drop-in visits tailored entirely to your pet's routine. I look forward to reading their body language the moment I step through your door to ensure they feel safe and comfortable. I am fully experienced and proudly offer care for: Dogs: Fresh food/water, potty breaks, backyard games, or a solid neighborhood walk to burn off energy. Birds: Checking cages, refreshing seed/water, and ensuring their environment is safe and secure. Home Security: I am always highly respectful of your space and will ensure your home is locked up tight, sending you detailed updates and photos after every single visit. I know how hard it can be to find a handler you can truly trust with your family members. I look forward to meeting your pets and giving you complete peace of mind! Let's schedule a Meet & Greet today!🫶🏼💃

About: We are a new family of three and are preparing to add a wired hair fox terrier in the near future. We had a family dog when I was young but he sadly passed away due to old age. My husband and son love dogs and all animals. His previous pair of dogs was sadly stolen from him and he hasn’t been ready to get another pet. That recently changed when our son started showing extreme interest in dogs and other animals. We want to test the waters with dog boarding and walking to see before committing. For us, a pet is forever. I work from home and my work is flexible. I can accommodate changes in schedule. My office is in the galleria area and my house is in humble. I can do dog walks in the galleria area as well. I have a fenced backyard and empty rooms to house the dogs if they need to have their own space. We live in a very friendly neighborhood and parks nearby.
About: I've been around dogs my entire life. Growing up, I was always responsible for feeding, bathing, and walking my family's pets. I am also a student majoring in pre-veterinary medicine and hoping to become a veterinarian. I love all animals deeply and strive to make every dog that comes under my care feel loved and wanted. I have a gentle nature, and I am very patient with animals. If you have a rowdy pup, that is no problem! My schedule is relatively open, except when I have classes. Currently, my schedule is Monday: Unavailable Tuesday: Available after 10:45 am Wednesday: Unavailable Thursday: Available after 10:45 am Friday: Available after 10:50 am Saturday and Sunday: Open availability I am able to come and stay in your home, as well as check in on your pup every 2-4 hours to ensure everything is okay. I am a night owl, so late-night check-ups are no problem for me either! I try to keep the environment as close to your routine as possible. Ensuring your pup's comfort is my top priority, so everything will remain as is. As long as I am shown the ropes on how everything is maintained, then you can trust that everything will remain the same as when you left it. I will also provide frequent updates and contact you in the event of an emergency.

“Amina did an awesome job with the cats!!! She took time to play with them. She has a very calm presence because one of our cats is definitely not a peoples person. She got him to come to her and let her pet him.”

You and your sitter can agree on a care schedule that fits your pet’s routine and the sitter’s availability. Pet Sitting can be booked as a one-time or recurring drop-in visit. If you need overnight care or dog walks, you may also be able to book House Sitting or Dog Walking through Rover with the same sitter, provided they offer those services.
Before booking, confirm:

- which parts of your pet’s usual routine should be prioritized;
- how often you would like to receive messages, photos, or other updates.
Not every sitter offers the same services, availability, or booking options. Review their profile and discuss the care you need through Rover before booking each service.
If you would like updates while you’re away, you can discuss with your sitter how many or how frequent you’d like those updates to be. The Rover app allows sitters to send photos, videos, and messages about your pet, including how many pee or poop breaks occurred. You can message your sitter at any time through the app and our support team is available 24/7 by email or chat if you have concerns.

Many pet parents provide a spare key or arrange a lockbox. You can also exchange keys during the Meet & Greet and show your walker how to use digital fobs or personalized codes. It helps to arrange access to your home, from spare keys to concierge introductions, before pet care begins.
If you live in an apartment or condo, don’t forget to discuss details like buzzer access, codes, or elevator etiquette. These details can help a pet sitter feel more comfortable going in and out of your building.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page.

A Meet & Greet is a casual meeting to vet potential sitters and communicate care needs for peace of mind before a booking begins. Only sitters who have never booked with you before can schedule a Meet & Greet on Rover; however, you are welcome to coordinate one in Rover messages with sitters you have previously booked. This can be helpful if you have a new pet or routine you want to go over with your sitter.
Meet & Greets can take place in person or virtually. If you are booking with a sitter for the first time, we recommend in-person Meet & Greets to get a clearer sense of how your sitter interacts with your pet or the new environment.
During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Meet & Greets are a great way to prepare your pet and sitter for longer stays or first-time bookings. Read our tips for your first Meet & Greet.
sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their contact information. Sitters may set a same-day, one-, three-, or seven-day cancellation policy. Cancelling within your sitter’s cancellation policy qualifies you for a full refund.
Same-day cancellations for recurring services, which include walks, drop-ins, and day care, follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for pet boarding and house sitting, if you cancel after 12 pm on the applicable cancellation deadline, you’ll receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for any remaining days.
