Absolutely Great Sitter!!! I would highly recommend. Emily made such an extra effort with the goats on my farm and even tried to milk one that was having difficulties. She followed all my instructions and I would hire her again.

About: I grew up around animals my entire life and I’ve watched over family friends and friends animals as well. I absolutely love animals and now I personally have 4 dogs. Whether they’re high energy or a couch potato every animal deserves to be loved and their boundaries respected! My work as an EMT only has me working 2 days out of the week so I’ve got a good bit of free time! Being able to work around those 2 days is really easy. On my off days I’d be able to check on your animals 2-3 times a day! I love walking as well, it clears my mind, so the more walks your dogs need the better for us both! While I don’t offer to take any pets into my own home due to my own pets, I am willing to come see your fur babies. I was raised to always respect someone’s home and privacy. Your animals will be well taken care of at all times in my presence with respect to your rules and guidelines.

Alison was fantastic. We have two very anxious cats and even they seemed to warm up to her! She even handled the bossing around from our non-anxious boy. Our babies were very well cared for and her updates are so cute and funny! Will definitely use again for our large fur family!

About: I come from a major animal loving family & have been surrounded by many different types of animals as far back as I can remember! I'm surprised it took me so long to make it into a profession, but I've been caring for other peoples' pets & homes for about 10 years now. My schedule is currently very flexible & I am often open to travel a ways from home for longer sits. I have my own cat, Frank, who is fairly aloof & quite understanding when I come home smelling like other animals. 😹 My current home is not suitable for having extra pets in it, so getting to sit in YOUR home is great for all parties involved - I get my cute animal fix, you get peace of mind that your pets & home are safe & well looked after, & your pets don't have too much disruption to their daily routine so they're less stressed while you're away!

About: I've been around dogs my entire life. Growing up, I was always responsible for feeding, bathing, and walking my family's pets. I am also a student majoring in pre-veterinary medicine and hoping to become a veterinarian. I love all animals deeply and strive to make every dog that comes under my care feel loved and wanted. I have a gentle nature, and I am very patient with animals. If you have a rowdy pup, that is no problem! My schedule is relatively open, except when I have classes. Currently, my schedule is Monday: Unavailable Tuesday: Available after 10:45 am Wednesday: Unavailable Thursday: Available after 10:45 am Friday: Available after 10:50 am Saturday and Sunday: Open availability I am able to come and stay in your home, as well as check in on your pup every 2-4 hours to ensure everything is okay. I am a night owl, so late-night check-ups are no problem for me either! I try to keep the environment as close to your routine as possible. Ensuring your pup's comfort is my top priority, so everything will remain as is. As long as I am shown the ropes on how everything is maintained, then you can trust that everything will remain the same as when you left it. I will also provide frequent updates and contact you in the event of an emergency.

I found Taylor last minute when I needed to find a sitter for my babies which at first made me nervous. However, not only did Taylor make a huge effort to make my babies happy she was very helpful with drop off and pick up times as well. It was very obvious in the pictures of my babies and updates she sent me my pups were comfy. I will definitely schedule with Taylor again as she made me comfortable to leave my puppies with her the minute we met and saw the environment my pups would be in.

About: Overall, I combine passion for pets with professional care to create an exceptional experience for both dogs and their owners. It’s an Adventure for everyone Pet care is an integral part of my daily and weekly routine, seamlessly woven into my activities. Each day begins with morning walks, ensuring that the dogs get fresh air and exercise to start their day off right. After their walks, I dedicate time to feeding, grooming, and providing any necessary medications, tailoring the care to each pet's specific needs. Throughout the day, I prioritize playtime and mental stimulation through interactive games and training sessions. This not only keeps them entertained but also strengthens the bond we share. I incorporate regular check-ins to monitor their health and behavior, making adjustments as needed. Weekly, I schedule longer outings or adventures, such as trips to the dog park or nature walks, allowing for socialization and exploration. I also set aside time for grooming sessions, ensuring that all pets remain clean and comfortable. Overall, pet care is not just a task but a joyful routine that brings fulfillment and structure to my days, ensuring each pet receives the love and attention they deserve. When caring for pets in my home, I create a welcoming and safe environment equipped with plenty of space for play, comfortable sleeping areas, and access to outdoor areas for exercise. This setup is ideal for pets that thrive in a home-like setting and allows for close supervision and personalized attention. Ultimately, I adapt my services to meet the needs of each pet and their owner, ensuring the best possible experience for both.

About: Hello! I’m Kas – an experienced pet and house sitter based in Cleveland, Texas who happens to also be Australian. I have lived in Texas since Jan 1 2019. I am currently offering bespoke style house sitting services with personalized care for pets in their own homes throughout Conroe and surrounding areas. Yes, I come with an Australian accent at no extra charge—your pets may not understand me, but they’ll definitely feel like they’re on an episode of Bluey. Every family has different routines, so I’m happy to tailor my visits to suit your pets. Whether they need someone to stay throughout the day, hang around at agreed times, or provide overnight companionship, we’ll work together to create the routine that keeps everyone happy and relaxed. Clients know me for being: • Honest and trustworthy • Calm, patient and attentive • Respectful of both pets and property • Reliable and tidy • The sort of person who treats your home as if it were my own When I’m not caring for pets, I also work as a child-minder (“babysitter”), so caring for homes, children, and animals has become my everyday life. Need a little extra help while you’re away? I’m happy to assist with a few basic household tasks by prior arrangement, such as: • Bringing bins in and out • Collecting mail and deliveries • Watering plants • General home security checks Additional household services can also be arranged separately if needed. To maintain a reliable routine, my house-sitting service includes overnight stay to approximately 8am, morning and evening care, generally from sunset and seeing to basic home logistics, watering plants, bringing in the trash can, bringing in any parcels /deliveries dropped at the door. The home serves as my primary base, with a maximum away-window of 4 to 5 hours during the day to attend to my own appointments. As I have young adult sons (university students with hybrid class schedules) living at home and husband who works from home office I can be away from my home for a number of days and can extend beyond a standard week. If I am booked for housesitting I generally suspend other drop in visits to other pets for the duration of the booking to exclusively focus on one household. My goal is simple: for you to come home to happy & calm pets, a tidy house, and complete peace of mind. And if your dog starts barking with an Australian accent when you get back… well, I consider that a job exceptionally well done. I’d love to meet you—and your furry family members! Pet care fits into my weekly routine around my own home duties. I don’t have a “regular” job. My children are grown, 19 and 22 year old university students, who continue to live with their parents, and husband works from home office. My day-to-day routine is fairly flexible at this stage of my life, not yet a grandmother and not yet an empty nester. All my extended family live in Melbourne Australia and I visit them a few weeks at a time twice each year. Pet sitting, is my new interest, something that I hope to carry through this empty nesting season. In me you will find an attentive pet sitter who treats the family home and pets like my own. I care for pets in their own home with total care, respect and personalized attention. I enjoy having direct contact with indoor dogs and cats that like to stay near humans and are thought of as family members.

About: I completely understand the importance of reliable evening care. Right now, I’m available in the mornings or after 6:30 p.m., and I know that may not fully line up with what you need. I’ve had a lot of experience caring for pets and homes — I raised a dog from puppyhood through its senior years, have a cat I’ve raised from a kitten for the past two years, and I’ve house-sat many times, including a three-month long position. I’m very dependable and attentive, and I’d be glad to help if your needs ever shift to fit my availability. As I have a fur baby myself I understand the need of wanting a good sitter I work part time in the evenings from 2-6:30 and Sunday mornings busy but other than that I am free all day. Thank you for considering me. I try to stick to what the owner wants/does routinely. If no clear instructions are given will ask or do what I would for my animal done

About: I’ve cared for animals my entire life — not just cats and dogs, but ducks, goats, pigs, and more! That experience taught me how every animal has its own personality and needs. I’m patient, observant, and I pay attention to the small things that keep pets happy and calm. I treat every animal as if they were my own, making sure they feel safe, loved, and understood. Whether it’s an energetic puppy or a shy cat, I meet them where they are and make their comfort my top priority. My job is very flexible, so I’m able to fit pet care into my day with ease. I’ll always make time to check in, play, and give your pet the attention they need — no rushing, just genuine care and consistency. When I’m caring for your pet, I do everything I can to make them feel at home — whether that’s in your space or mine. I stick closely to their normal routine so they stay comfortable and relaxed. I make sure they’re fed, played with, and loved on, and I always keep things clean and cozy. My yard is currently unfenced, but any outdoor time will always be closely supervised to ensure their safety. I also send regular photo and text updates so you never have to wonder how your pet’s doing — they’ll be in loving, dependable hands the whole time.

About: I have been taking care of animals since elementary school. Raising puppys from birth and caring for seniors during their final days. I have learned the ins and outs of grooming, cleaning, feeding, and basic training. I've delt with the pickiest of animals, and the most relaxed. When it comes to keeping animals calm and happy, I am the sitter for you. Whether your animal has aggression with others, or is incredibly anxious, I'll create an environment specifically to accommodate them. As I already have animals in my home, pet care is my every day life. Walks occur multiple times a day, and my boyfriend will take them out for more enriching play outdoors. I'm with the animals full time, which means any animals in my care will have my full attention. In my own home, I have multiple grassed areas for potty time, as well as a dog park for enrichment. I have a separate room for animals who need it, where they can have a calming time away from my own animals if needed. Of which being a service dog and a friendly cat. In a client's home, I make sure to take care of the pet to the best of my ability, taking them out as frequently as asked, but also giving them some play time for enrichment when I'm there. I follow things to the letter, so any special requests will be followed to the T to make sure your pet is happy and healthy.

Tip: You can discuss your specific arrangements with a pet sitter on Rover to what fits you, your pet, and your sitter’s needs. To find what their special skills are, look at the "Skills" and "Pet care experience" sections on their profile.

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.

Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.

Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.

If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
