About: I come from a major animal loving family & have been surrounded by many different types of animals as far back as I can remember! I'm surprised it took me so long to make it into a profession, but I've been caring for other peoples' pets & homes for about 10 years now. My schedule is currently very flexible & I am often open to travel a ways from home for longer sits. I have my own cat, Frank, who is fairly aloof & quite understanding when I come home smelling like other animals. 😹 My current home is not suitable for having extra pets in it, so getting to sit in YOUR home is great for all parties involved - I get my cute animal fix, you get peace of mind that your pets & home are safe & well looked after, & your pets don't have too much disruption to their daily routine so they're less stressed while you're away!
About: I've been around dogs my entire life. Growing up, I was always responsible for feeding, bathing, and walking my family's pets. I am also a student majoring in pre-veterinary medicine and hoping to become a veterinarian. I love all animals deeply and strive to make every dog that comes under my care feel loved and wanted. I have a gentle nature, and I am very patient with animals. If you have a rowdy pup, that is no problem! My schedule is relatively open, except when I have classes. Currently, my schedule is Monday: Unavailable Tuesday: Available after 10:45 am Wednesday: Unavailable Thursday: Available after 10:45 am Friday: Available after 10:50 am Saturday and Sunday: Open availability I am able to come and stay in your home, as well as check in on your pup every 2-4 hours to ensure everything is okay. I am a night owl, so late-night check-ups are no problem for me either! I try to keep the environment as close to your routine as possible. Ensuring your pup's comfort is my top priority, so everything will remain as is. As long as I am shown the ropes on how everything is maintained, then you can trust that everything will remain the same as when you left it. I will also provide frequent updates and contact you in the event of an emergency.
About: I have always had a special place in my heart for dogs! I was a pet sitter for 10+ years, but recently took a short break after moving to a different part of the great state of Texas! I’ve also been a foster and greatly enjoyed and will hopefully get back into that soon as well. Now that we are settled, we are ready to welcome your sweet pet into our home and will love and care for them as if they were our very own! We are a no cat household, so sorry!! I have experience caring for pets of all ages, from puppy to seniors! Our dog pretty much has free rein in the house, however, if you have rules that need to be followed, I will be sure to keep their routine for you! We hope to welcome your sweet pet into our home soon so we can love on them for you while you enjoy your travels, and I will be sure to send you LOTS of pictures! Working from home allows me to be present for your pet for most of the day. Most days I am home 24/7. There may be times that I will run an errand or two, but I will never be away for more than 2 hours. I also have cameras in the house that I use to check on them if I am away, even for a short period of time. Your pets' well being is my priority during their entire stay. With a fenced yard, your dog will be able to enjoy outdoor time as often as they like. My dog, Lukka, loves to play and have fun with other dogs. He’s been around puppies and giant dogs alike. He’s a gentle boy and will let your dog be as playful with him as they like. Our main living areas are carpet free, so if there are any accidents, it’s very easy to clean up! As previously mentioned, your pets are welcome to be as free as they like in our home. We have dog beds in just about every room in our home, but you are welcome to bring your own as well. Please let me know your pets daily routine, dietary preferences, any medical conditions or medications, their temperament around other animals, and any specific training commands they respond to. Your pet will be treated as our very own. Unless you have specific rules, they will be allowed on our furniture and beds. We will, however, stick to your pets schedule and rules as requested.
About: I provide wonderful and reliable service. I am very attentive and willing and able to care for any dogs special needs. Any dog big or small, I will love and tend to them like they are my own. Their happiness and safety are my first priority when dog sitting or dog walking. I would love to be of service to you and your animal. I am currently looking to get more active on the days and nights i do not work, and walking dogs is the perfect thing i can think of! I have two 15 lb dogs who love to play! I have my own crate if needed, but would prefer to have you provide one that your dog is comfortable with.
“I found Taylor last minute when I needed to find a sitter for my babies which at first made me nervous. However, not only did Taylor make a huge effort to make my babies happy she was very helpful with drop off and pick up times as well. It was very obvious in the pictures of my babies and updates she sent me my pups were comfy. I will definitely schedule with Taylor again as she made me comfortable to leave my puppies with her the minute we met and saw the environment my pups would be in.”

“Alison was fantastic. We have two very anxious cats and even they seemed to warm up to her! She even handled the bossing around from our non-anxious boy. Our babies were very well cared for and her updates are so cute and funny! Will definitely use again for our large fur family!”

About: I’ve always been surrounded by dogs. I’m not ready to get another dog yet so I know that I would be a good fit for yours. I am retired. Walking your dog would be a blessing to me as well as give you peace of mind. I will take care of yours the same as I would do for mine. I have a fenced in yard. I have no pets. I love being outside and am very active. It would be a honor to be your dog walker.

About: Hello! I’m Kas 🇦🇺 I’m an Australian living in Cleveland, Texas, and I specialize in-home house and companion pet care for families who value trusted presence, consistent routines, and complete peace of mind. Your pets remain relaxed in the comfort of their own home while enjoying the care of one consistent, reliable caregiver. Yes, I come with an Australian accent at no extra charge—your pets may not understand me, but they’ll probably feel like they’re on an episode of Bluey! 🐾 Every household is different, so I take the time to understand your pet’s routine, personality, and individual needs. Whether your pets enjoy quiet companionship, regular walks, sun-time, playtime, medication support, or simply having someone nearby while you’re away, for whatever reason, I’ll tailor my care to help them and you feel secure and settled. Ideal for: • Dogs and cats who thrive in their own home • Pets who appreciate and seek regular human companionship • Multi-pet households • Owners travelling for business, medical care or holidays • Families who value one trusted caregiver caring for both their pets and their home. I intentionally accept a limited number of house-sitting bookings and generally care for one household at a time, allowing me to focus on maintaining your pet’s routine and providing attentive, personalised care. During your booking, your home can be my primary base. I like to bring my book, my laptop for my virtual work, and letters or postcards to write to penpals or family back in Australia. While I may occasionally step out for appointments or errands, I aim to keep time away to a minimum and maintain your pet’s normal sleep, play, meal, nap routine as closely as possible. My overnight stays, morning and evening care, and extended daytime presence provide reassurance for both pets and owners. While you’re away, I’m also happy to assist with a few household tasks by prior arrangement, including: • Bringing bins in and out • Collecting mail and parcel deliveries • Watering indoor and outdoor plants • General home security checks/lights on or off to keep the home appearing occupied and reporting any concerns. I can cope with winter weather requirements and manage if some unexpected occurs such as a storm event, branch down in yard, wind damage. Clients describe me as calm, trustworthy, attentive, respectful, organized, and the sort of person who genuinely cares for a home as though it were my own. My goal is simple: for you to return home to happy, relaxed pets, looking forward to seeing you, a tidy and well-cared-for home, and the confidence that everything has been looked after while you were away. And if your dog welcomes you home barking with an Australian accent… well, I consider that a job exceptionally well done. I’d love to meet you—and your furry family members! Call me to arrange a meet and greet to check our compatibility. Pet care fits comfortably into my weekly routine, allowing me to provide attentive, personalised care in your pet’s own home. Because my schedule is flexible, I’m able to accommodate extended house-sitting bookings, overnight stays and care tailored to your pet’s normal routine. During house-sitting bookings, your home becomes my primary base, allowing your pets to enjoy familiar surroundings while receiving calm, consistent companionship. I intentionally accept a limited number of bookings so I can focus my attention on one household at a time and provide dependable, personalized care. I believe pets are happiest when they can remain in the comfort of their own home, surrounded by familiar sights, smells and routines. You’ll find me to be calm, attentive and respectful of both your pets and your home. I care for every household as though it were my own, taking time to learn each pet’s personality, routines and preferences. I particularly enjoy caring for companion dogs and cats who love being close to people, whether that’s sharing quiet company while I read, relaxing nearby while I work, or spending time outdoors together in the yard or on a walk. My goal is for your pets to feel safe, settled and loved while you’re away.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.

Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
