About: I have had animals longer than I can remember. My grandmother rescued and fostered all types of animals. My dad, at one point, had 5 birds that I helped care for as well as 3 dogs and 5 cats. My current roommate and best friend got her first puppy when she was 16 and while she attended nursing school during the summer I went to her house every day to let her puppy out and play with her for hours. When we turned 18 we got an apartment and then I adopted my own dog in 2020. I rescued her from a very unfortunate situation when she was 1 year old. She was quite the handful as she is a very high energy breed. But I put the work in and now she’s an angel! And trust me, it is not easy to train a fully grown 50 pound dog. My roommate then went on to get 2 German shepherd puppies 18 months apart. While she went to work during the day I was at home with her puppies potty training, crate training and obedience training. Although they are not technically my dogs, I love them as my own. We now live in a house with “our” 4 dogs and their training continues every day. I am well versed in handling and walking reactive strong dogs as well as dog aggression, resource guarding and puppy training. Additionally, I am very adaptable and take directions well. If there are any special instructions to caring for your fur baby, just let me know! I usually work from 4-11pm on Monday, Wednesday, Friday and Saturday. I attend class on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 6-10pm. This leaves me available for morning/afternoon to care for your pet while you are hard at work! Our 2 German Shepherds are crated when no one is home, and Lucy (my dog) and Bella (my roommates oldest dog) are left out. We have 4 people living here with overlapping schedules so they are never left alone for very long, if at all. We have a fenced yard. All of our dogs are up to date on their shots and receive monthly flea, tick and heartworm medication as well as all being spayed. I will not be able to board other animals at my home as not all of my dogs are animal friendly.
15. Karen D.
“Karen is fabulous! I highly recommend her. She is conscientious and dependable. I have used her to come check on my dog several times. She is my go to pet sitter! Thank you Karen!”
16. Shania F.
“Makes it so much easier to go on day trips when I have Shania booked to watch Oscar. She's reliable and has helped with drop inside for Kscar twice on short notice. Does a great job.”
17. Maureen M.
“Maureen blessed us by house sitting our Apollo for a week while we were out of town. He was well taken care of and excited to see us when we got home. Maureen sent photos and text updates every couple of days which was phenomenal because we got to immerse ourselves in vacation without a worry and get the peace of mind about our fur baby. I will definitely be using Maureen again and you should book her too.”

About: Animals have always been an important part of my life. My wife and I currently have 3 rescue dogs who have specific trauma from previous homes. This gives me a unique insight into caring for dogs from diverse backgrounds. I view my dogs as my own children and will do the same for your beloved pets! I am available weeknights starting at 4:30 pm, as well as all day Saturday and Sunday. Additional times during the week are available upon request. A dogs feeling of safety and comfort is paramount to their well-being. Having this in mind I will treat your dog as if it were my own by providing playful stimulation, consistent feeding times, and paying close attention to any specific medical needs.

About: Living in a pet loving family, I’ve helped care for dogs of all ages and sizes since I was 4 years old. Whether it’s administering medications or simply scooping dog poop (yuck!) I can do it! I don’t just have experience with owning dogs, but also fostering. I am well versed and experienced with any task that may come up. I have been through pet training courses provided by a hired pet trainer for one of our dogs. I currently have two mini schnauzers that are adorable, but I have taken care of dogs ranging from cane corsos to poodles, and I’ve loved them all! I also have experience with other animals such as: cats, rabbits, chinchillas, hermit crabs, fish, birds (parakeets and cockatiels), and bearded dragons. I currently am at the last stretch of my high school career and I work part time. I work Mon-Wed from 4pm-9pm and Sunday 8am-2pm. Although I am busy some days with work, I get out of school at 3:00pm for senior early release, and I have Fridays off of school! I am willing to work my schedule around yours as long as I get a bit of a notice! Before walks I always test the temperature outside! It is important that your fur-baby’s paws are well protected! I can bring treats to practice training while on walks and can even help train dogs during home visits! When home visiting, my care is defined by your expectations. Whether it be popping in to say hello and feed/water, or stay and give your pet company, I will do it!

About: I've had animals my whole life. They are my babies. I will love and care for your babies like they were my own and they will be treated well and with respect. I'm a college student so my schedule is pretty flexible. I can do pretty much any day of the week. I just need enough notice. I will walk or let your dog out supervised and in a safe environment. They will get at least 30 minutes- 1 hour outside when I do breaks.
