“Marqita was great! She sent a lot of photos and communicated with me often. My schedule was very unpredictable but she was very understanding and flexible. She took good care of my dog! Highly recommended!”

About: Hi! While I’ve been an animal lover my whole life, I became especially passionate about caring for domestic animals around 13, when I began volunteering with organizations like CAAWS, Brec, Cat Haven and more! I’ve also studied veterinary tech at BRCC and picked up helpful first-aid knowledge. I currently work at Dogtopia, where I’ve spent some time hands-on learning even more about dog behaviors and body language. Besides that, I love outdoor activities - running, rucking, hiking - and find that most pups share this love! However, I love a couch potato too, and I’d be just as happy curling up on the sofa and watching Marvel movies or reading a comic with them! Whether your pup is full of energy or laid-back, I can’t wait to meet them! :) I currently work Monday-Friday from 6am to noon, but I am free the rest of the day till around 7pm. I am also free all day on weekends! When caring for pups (and kitties), safety and trust are my top priorities. With years of volunteer experience as well as professional experience at Dogtopia, I’ve developed a strong understanding of canine behaviors through careful observation of body language. I create a very calm and welcoming environment where pets feel secure, no matter the activity. I always say the dogs are like my sheep, and I’m their shepherd. My background in vet tech also has given me a good foundation in basic first aid, where I can handle minor issues with confidence.

I am currently employed at VCA All Pets, a vet clinic located on Perkins Rowe, and have been for almost a year now. I have plenty professional experience taking care of animals in boarding and treatment and can provide the best care for your pet. I have grown up with several pets my entire life, so I am more than prepared! I’ve also owned reptiles in the past and taken care of them in boarding at the vet clinic, so I am also comfortable and experienced in providing care for reptiles if you have any! Because of my class schedule, I am fairly free all days of the week! Contact me to see specifics of my availability. My life revolves around other people’s pets and my own, I can assure you I am the right pick for you! Also, because of my veterinary experience, I am comfortable with administering different types of medications to dogs and cats. I will treat your animals with the same care and compassion I do mine!

“I think Geaux found a new best friend! After being skeptical of a dog sitter, I could tell from the first meet that Janelle was a perfect match for Geaux! Janelle was just awesome! She is prompt, reliable, trustworthy, and updated me several times with text messages and photos while out on walks with Geaux. She even went beyond what I booked and took Geaux to our local dog park! Geaux obviously likes Janelle a lot (and so do I)! I highly recommend Janelle and G and l will definitely book with Janelle in the future!”

About: Greetings :) I have had a deep love for animals since as long as I can remember. Animals are such fascinating, divine creatures - full of personality, just like us. I have had my own dogs since childhood and have taken care of friends’ animals as a teenager and as an adult (dogs and cats). My schedule is very flexible and I tend to start my days early, usually to take out my own dog for a walk. I am very active and will have no problems keeping up with your fur baby. I have a small fenced in yard and live just 7 minutes away from a dog park. I also have a small dog of my own who loves the company of other pets. I have only taken care of dogs and cats, but am open to take care of other animals (aquatics, reptiles, insects/bugs, etc…) with some proper guidance.

About: I have a great deal of experience with dog sitting in their home, in my home and making home visits. Many years of owning my own dogs. I work from home during the day and a few hours in the evening with great flexibility. The fur baby will be with me at all times. The fur baby will be my first and only priority. I live alone with no pets and children. They will be spoiled while with me.

About: I have been a pet lover ever since I adopted my first cat, Scooter, when I was 6 years old. Over the years, I've had numerous pets including rats, rabbits, cats, dogs and a chinchilla. I currently have a dog named Tokyo, who I adopted from Iowa 7 years ago. He's pretty quirky! You can usually find us walking the trails, or playing at the dog park with his friends. I am very attentive to the needs of animals, especially when they are not my own. I am able to recognize and understand any reactive qualities your pet may have, as I have had experience owning a reactive dog. I am willing to drive/walk/play with them anywhere as long as you (and your pet) are comfortable! I currently have a full-time job. I am off every other Tuesday and Thursday (alternating), as well as every other weekend off. On my work days, I am able to drop-in before and/or after work. I am able to do drop-in visits, and overnight stays - if need be. I tend to the needs of the animal in whatever way is dictated by their parent.

“Ashlyn is such a genuine, kind, amazing, and patient animal lover. She has an unexplainable talent to bond with your 4 legged babies that is unparalleled. She treats your companion with so much love and admiration that they barely notice you're not there but are still so super excited to see you upon your return. If you are looking for a great sitter for vacation, overnight getaways or just to walk your baby due to your busy schedule, she is definitely your go to girl. She isn't afraid of any breeds and is super great at following your set out routine and directions even with dietary or medicinal needs. To not choose Ashlyn for your fur babies care would be a grave disservice.”
