“Our girl was well cared for by a loving family. We got daily updates and pictures of Hattie. I believe she had a lovely time with Alyssa and her family. We would definitely book her again. Thanks for taking such good care of our girl.”

“10 out of 10, 100% recommend. The sweetest family with amazing hospitality! AC immediately became comfortable with Dan. She provided photo updates all throughout the day. She was very thorough and intentional with care. Will definitely be a returning customer.”

“Adam and family took great care of our pups! They sent pictures and updates every day and I felt like they genuinely cared for our precious dogs. One of our pups has a hard time getting along with other dogs at first, but they were patient, introduced her slowly to the others, and she eventually settled in. Thanks for all the doggie snuggles! We'll be back!”

“Haley was great she came out and picked up the dogs which saved us a lot of time since we were getting ready for a trip. It’s obvious she loves animals by the way our dogs responded to her immediately with tails wagging . She kept us updated daily and sent pictures and kept us at ease the whole trip. Our dogs are not what we would call easy dogs to handle but Haley made it look easy and we would recommend her to anyone with any kind of situation, thank you Haley..”

“Stephen & Angela are so wonderful with my dog, Zeke. I do doggy daycare twice a week, and just recently did over a week of dog boarding for my dog while I was on vacation. They are always super responsive, friendly, and my dog looks forward to going to their home. I was very anxious leaving my dog for vacation, but I knew Zeke would be in great care and have a fun vacation of his own. I appreciated the daily photos sent to me, and the thoughtful treat bag when I picked up my boy. They even included human treats!”

“Beth took amazing care of Monty! He got plenty of exercise and attention and I got plenty of updates while I was away. It was clear when he got home that he was far happier than when I've had to kennel him on trips. I would definitely call Beth again when I go out of town.”

“This was the first time that Onyx has stayed away from home. Alexis and Daniel really put my mind at ease. They sent updates and videos letting me know firsthand that my fur baby was doing good. I highly recommend them and will book them again should I ever need to leave my dog.”

“Heather was amazing and I will definitely use her again. She was accommodating to my last minute request for boarding. She was also responsive when I reached out and had a very caring spirit.”

“I had such a great experience with this dog sitter! From the moment we met, it was clear how sweet, kind, and genuinely caring they are—not just toward people, but especially toward animals. My dog felt comfortable right away, which gave me so much peace of mind. They were attentive, responsible, and kept me updated, which I really appreciated. It’s obvious they truly love what they do, and it shows in the way they treat the dogs in their care. I could tell my dog was happy, well cared for, and even a little spoiled with attention! I wouldn’t hesitate to book with them again and highly recommend them to anyone looking for someone trustworthy and compassionate to care for their pet.”

“I have been using Nancy now over a handful of separate times. I travel a good bit for work and leisure pleasure and my dog needs someone to watch my baby❤️. Nancy is absolutely a blessing, as she goes as far as to come and pick Ezra up from my residence as driving is difficult for me. Each time she has come to pick my dog up, Ezra is always super super excited to see her and pulls me all the way to Nancy’s car in order to give her a ton of kisses.”
“Crystal was very trustworthy. She let me know how my dog Hollow was interacting on a daily basis. I felt that Hollow was in a very safe environment and I will use Crystal in the future and I’m sure Hollow would agree if he could talk. Thanks for allowing us to feel assured while we were on our vacation”

“Susan and her family are amazing! They were extremely accommodating to my short-notice request for a sitter and our little Bandit had a blast! It's always hard being away from our furry family members, but Susan kept us updated on his stay and included a ton of pictures! Bandit enjoyed his stay...so much that I think he was a little depressed when he got home! Thank you, Susan, for providing such a loving home away from home for Bandit! He's looking forward to his next stay!”

“My two pups loved their time with Gabrielle. They adore kids and the photos I received of our pups playing with their little one were very heart warming. They have plenty of space for your pups to run around and enjoy being a dog. 10/10 would book again.”

If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your dog to the closest veterinarian. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your dog is showing signs of possible illness.
For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorization form for your regular vet. An authorization form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.
Every qualified booking made on Rover is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes reimbursement for eligible emergency vet care.
