I’ve grown up around animals and have several years of hands-on experience caring for horses, dogs, and other pets through barn work and daily responsibilities. My experience includes feeding, grooming, cleaning stalls, administering basic care, and keeping animals on consistent routines. I also previously managed a pet store, where I helped customers with pet care needs and assisted with grooming services, giving me experience working with a wide variety of breeds and temperaments. Being involved in cheer and an active lifestyle, I’m used to early mornings, long days, and staying dependable no matter the weather. I’m attentive, patient, and always make sure pets feel safe, comfortable, and loved while their owners are away.

Brooke took great care of our high energy boys. We got regular updates and pictures and the house looked great when we got home. My daughter said it looked weird because it was cleaner than normal…so it had been noticeably cleaned up.
First time using Brooke to dog sit. She's absolutely wonderful and did more than I asked. I will certainly be using her more in the future!

Schedule
Pet care fits easily into my daily routine because I’m already used to structured schedules and early mornings. Between school, cheer, and my experience working at barns and managing a pet store, I’m very comfortable planning my day around feeding times, walks, and check-ins. I make sure pets stay on their normal routines so they feel comfortable and stress-free while their owners are away. I’m active and outdoors often, so regular walks and playtime are something I genuinely enjoy, not just a task. I’m also reliable with time management, so pets always get the attention and care they need.

When caring for pets, I focus on keeping them comfortable by following their normal routines as closely as possible. In a client’s home, I respect their space and make sure feeding schedules, walks, playtime, and any specific instructions are followed exactly. I also provide updates and photos so owners feel at ease while they’re away. If pets are in my home, I make sure they have a safe, clean, and calm environment with plenty of attention, exercise, and affection, and I have a fully fenced yard where dogs can play and get fresh air safely. I’m attentive to each pet’s personality and needs, whether that means extra playtime, quiet companionship, or sticking closely to a specific care routine.

A typical day
I love keeping pets active, happy, and engaged while their owners are away. Depending on the dog’s personality and energy level, we’ll go on neighborhood walks or trail walks, play fetch, and spend time outside getting exercise. I also enjoy taking dogs on little adventures like car rides to get a pup cup or walking around Hollywood Feed so they can pick out a toy or treat. Of course, I always balance activity with plenty of attention, cuddles, and relaxation time so they feel comfortable and safe. My goal is to make their time with me fun, enriching, and as close to their normal routine as possible. 🐶🐾
