I have experience with all types of dogs from various backgrounds. I got into fostering with my wife a few years ago. I have plenty of experience with dogs who need medication administration, including injections and am conscious that some need to stick to a specific food. I want to make this a place a home away from home for your pup because that’s what they deserve when they’re away from the people they love the most!

Joe and wife are great boarders for Bonnie. Our Labrador has a wonderful time always with their Golden Retriever, and returns home to us all happy.

Schedule
My schedule is flexible. A typical routine is to have morning, afternoon, evening and bedtime potty breaks and mealtime at breakfast and dinner. The only conflict may be that we attend church Sunday mornings.

Safety, trust & environment
I have a fenced yard and a playful pup to keep your fur baby entertained. If crating is part of your dog’s routine, please provide the crate, as I do not crate my dog. We do bark box, so no need to bring toys. I do recommend something that smells like home, especially for the first visit, and if your dog has separation anxiety. Please don’t bring any sentimental toys or bones as it can cause resource guarding and potential conflict. All dogs are fed separately at mealtime. I cannot watch unfixed dogs (male or female) past 1 year old due to behavioral issues. If we are away from the house, dogs are kept in the playroom so they have room to roam. I have a ring camera to be able to check in if needed. Please reach out for any further questions so I may provide clarification!

A typical day
My pup loves to play, and will bring the puppy out of any dog! Dogs are let out frequently, weather pending. If I can’t stand to be outside, neither should they. Water bowls are stationed outside and inside.
