About: I’m new to Rover, but I’ve been caring for dogs for years. I have two dachshunds that I take care of every day, including feeding, walking, bathing, brushing their teeth, and grooming. I’ve also helped take care of many of my friend’s small dogs when needed. I’m very comfortable with small dogs and understand their personalities, especially when they’re energetic or a little stubborn. I’m patient, gentle, and make sure dogs feel safe and comfortable. I genuinely love being around dogs and spending time with them. Pet care is already part of my daily routine. I take care of my own dogs every day, including walks, feeding, and playtime. I’m currently in online school, so I have a flexible schedule and can be available most weekdays and weekends. I focus on making pets feel comfortable in their own home. I offer drop-in visits where I’ll feed them, take them outside, play with them, and keep them company. I’m experienced with small dogs and can handle things like putting on harnesses, cleaning up accidents, and helping them feel calm and safe. I pay attention to each dog’s needs and follow the owner’s instructions closely. For walks, I’m mindful of weather conditions and will always prioritize your dog’s safety, especially in hot weather.
About: Animals have always been a huge part of my life, and with over 14 years of experience—including working as a former K9 handler—I know that every pet deserves patience, attention, and individualized care. I’m also the proud dog mom of three 2 year old female pups, all of whom I raised and potty trained at the same time. That experience taught me the importance of consistency, positive reinforcement, and understanding that every dog learns at their own pace. It also gave me firsthand experience caring for puppies through every stage of development. Whether I’m boarding your pet in my home, stopping by for a drop-in visit, taking your dog for a walk, or providing house sitting, my goal is always the same: to make your pet feel safe, comfortable, and loved while you’re away. I understand that trusting someone with your pet is a big decision. My promise is to care for them with the same patience, love, and attention that I give my own pets. I look forward to meeting you and your furry family! Caring for animals fits naturally into my daily routine. I’m an early riser and spend my mornings with pets, making sure they get plenty of exercise, playtime, and attention. I work afternoon and evening shifts, but I structure my day so every pet receives quality care before and after work. I genuinely love spending time with animals, and my goal is to provide a safe, fun, and comfortable home where they feel like family. I provide safe, personalized care based on each pet’s routine and needs. In my home, pets receive playtime, enrichment, and lots of attention in a clean, pet-friendly environment. In your home, I maintain their normal routine by providing walks, feeding, fresh water, playtime, medications if needed, and photo updates after every visit.
“Audrey has been my dog walker for over a month and she’s just great. I have an older dog so even when he’s not up for a walk Audrey will sit outside with him. I highly recommend her.”

About: I have taken care of dogs, cats, and bunnies but as of right now I am only looking to take care of dogs! I have done dog sitting and house sitting since I was 14 and I would love to help other people make sure that their dogs will be safe on vacation or need a little help with walking their dog! I currently also own a chocolate lab that loves to have play dates!! I am a full-time student, but my classes are online so I found myself having a lot of time to use to walk dogs! I have a large backyard for my chocolate lab, and we always have play dates with big dogs and small dogs. When I dog sit, I normally have the dog come to my house, and I have done house sitting for 2 months to as little as a day. I also love walking dogs, but I found it easier for me to walk little dogs and medium dogs the best, so I have more control over them. I am not strict on anything mostly and my dog is very friendly to any dog. With my own dog we do daily walks every day and sometimes I give him pup cups and cookies.
About: What sets me apart as a sitter is that animal care isn’t just something I do on the side, it’s genuinely where my heart is. I’ve been around and caring for animals my entire life, with over 17 years of hands-on experience with dogs, cats, hamsters, birds, rabbits, turtles, and horses. I’m naturally very nurturing and observant, and I truly treat every pet like they’re apart of my own family. I’m home most of the time and able to give pets a lot of attention, supervision, love, and consistency. I really try to make them feel safe, comfortable, and cared for while you’re away, like a vacation of their own. I also volunteer at The Animal Foundation and have completed Fear Free training in animal handling, safety, body language, and behavior. Combined with my background in psychology and medicine, I’m especially attentive to subtle changes in behavior, appetite, mobility, energy level, stress, and overall well-being. If something seems off, I don’t ignore it, I adjust care as needed and communicate so owners always feel informed and reassured. I also have experience administering injections and oral medications, and I understand how important patience, gentleness, consistency, and observation can be for pets with medical needs, anxiety, or senior care. Every pet is unique, and one of my favorite parts of this job is getting to know their individual personality, routines, quirks, and preferences so I can care for them in the way that makes them feel happiest and most at home. My schedule is pretty flexible! Most Thursdays and Fridays I work out of the house, usually between 9AM–2PM, though those hours can vary a bit from week to week. Jacob is usually home on those days until around 2PM, so on a typical Thursday or Friday there may be a short period where your pet is home alone between our schedules. Outside of that, someone is usually always home, and your pet will receive plenty of attention, playtime, potty breaks, and love throughout their stay. If we do have to leave them alone for a short period, we always set up an indoor camera so we can check in on them. We have a doggy door so they always have access to the yard. We’re also happy to work around your pet’s normal routine and make sure they’re comfortable and well cared for while they’re with us. I prioritize safety, supervision, and maintaining a calm, comfortable space where pets can feel right at home. I follow owner instructions very carefully because I know how important consistency and trust are when someone is caring for your pet. Even though the yard is fully fenced, pets are still supervised outside and I also have security cameras for extra peace of mind. Living in Vegas, I’m very aware of the heat, so pets are outside for long periods in the heat, and the yard has a canopy to provide shade. We have a doggy door insert for the sliding glass door, so they can go in and out as they want.
“If you're one of those people that spends a lot of time reading through every review look no further. Matthias is professional, punctual, great with dogs, communicative and very detailed oriented. He took the time to meet us a few days before our scheduled service to make sure we would have a succesful walk. Thanks again for making this process seamless”

“Ana was great with Mack! Before the actual walk day, she stopped by for a meet & greet and instantly got along with Mack. We loved the updates that were provided during her visit and they put us at ease. Thanks Ana for a great Rover experience 🐶”

About: I have over 10 years of hands-on experience caring for my own pets, including my dogs Mello and Flynn, who have been part of my family for 10 and 7 years, and my cats Airi and Sai, who I have cared for for 2 years. I understand that every pet has a unique personality, routine, and comfort level. I’m patient, attentive, and experienced with providing exercise, playtime, feeding, companionship, and everyday care. I treat every pet like my own and will take the time to make sure they feel safe, comfortable, and loved. I currently have a flexible schedule and am available for dog walking, drop-in visits, and cat care. I’m happy to work with your pet’s routine and can provide regular attention, playtime, exercise, feeding, and companionship. I’m reliable and will communicate with you throughout each visit so you can feel comfortable knowing your pet is being cared for. My priority is making sure every pet feels safe, comfortable, and cared for. I take time to learn each pet’s routine, personality, and specific needs before providing care. I will follow your instructions carefully, keep your pet secure during walks and visits, and provide updates so you know how your pet is doing. I treat every pet with the same patience and care I give my own pets.
“Heather is an above and beyond dog sitter. My dog had stomach problems while I was away and she took such great care of him and was so reassuring in updates with him. She even brought puppy pads from home, knowing that ours hadn’t arrived yet in the mail. She was so thorough and I could tell she was a fellow dog mom. She was so flexible and accommodating with me needing him let out more frequently than originally planned and she even brought my packages inside, which is an extra testament to her trust and care which is rare these days. I cannot thank her enough especially given that my dog had extra care needs not originally anticipated.”

“Emma has been walking my 6 month old puppy consistently since my puppy was 3 months old. She follows all of my instructions to the letter, works diligently to work around my ever-changing schedule, and cares for my baby as if she were her own! I will definitely be reaching out if I need dog sitting in the future.”

Dog parents share their Rover experiences - Sheep Mountain
If I could give more than 5 stars, I absolutely would! We have trusted Vanessa with our dog, Kappi, for the past three years, and she has been nothing short of amazing. She has walked him every week and has also cared for him whenever we’ve gone out of town. Knowing Kappi was with her always gave us complete peace of mind. She treats Kappi like he’s one of her own. She goes above and beyond by taking him on fun little adventures for treats, toys, and pup cups, and it’s obvious how much she genuinely loves and cares for the dogs she watches. Kappi absolutely adores her, and we always knew he was happy, safe, and loved while he was in her care. She is incredibly reliable, trustworthy, communicative, and professional. Whether it was a regular walk or an extended dog-sitting stay, we never had to worry for a second. We are heartbroken to be moving out of state because finding someone who compares to her is going to be nearly impossible. Any pet parent would be incredibly lucky to have her care for their furry family member. We cannot recommend her highly enough. Thank you for taking such wonderful care of Kappi over the last three years—Kappi will miss you so much!
