“I cannot say enough nice things! Naoko squeezed us in with a last-minute booking and we couldn’t have been more appreciative. We were visiting family here in Vegas (we are from So Cal) and had activities to do that couldn’t accommodate our dog. She took Archie in with open arms! We received pictures and videos all day long showing us how much fun our boy was having! He was exhausted and happy when we picked up; snored all the way back to our hotel! That just shows he had a fantastic time! Very friendly and extremely professional! We would love to use her again next time we come for a family visit here in Vegas!”

About: What sets me apart as a sitter is that animal care isn’t just something I do on the side, it’s genuinely where my heart is. I’ve been around and caring for animals my entire life, with over 17 years of hands-on experience with dogs, cats, hamsters, birds, rabbits, turtles, and horses. I’m naturally very nurturing and observant, and I truly treat animals like family. Pet sitting is currently my full-time focus while I finish my psychology and neuroscience degree online, which means I’m home most of the day and able to give pets a lot of attention, supervision, love, and consistency. They’re not going to be left alone for long periods or stuck in a crate most of the day. I really try to make them feel safe, comfortable, and cared for while you’re away, like a vacation of their own. I also volunteer at The Animal Foundation and have received Fear Free training in animal handling, safety, body language, and behavior. Between that and my background in psychology and medicine, I pay very close attention to subtle behavior changes, body language, appetite, mobility, energy levels, stress, and comfort. If something seems off, I don’t ignore it. I adjust care as needed and communicate quickly so owners always feel informed and reassured. I also have experience administering injections and oral medications when needed, and know how important patience, gentleness, consistency, and observation can be for pets with medical needs, anxiety, or senior care. Every animal is different, and I genuinely enjoy getting to know their personalities, routines, quirks, and needs so I can care for them in a way that makes them happiest and most comfortable. Pet sitting is currently my full-time focus while I finish school online, and because my schedule is very flexible, I’m home most of the day. That means your pet will get lots of attention, consistency, supervision, and companionship instead of being left alone for long stretches of time. My boyfriend also lives in the home and is also a huge animal lover, so there is usually an extra set of attentive eyes, supervision, and love around for pets during their stay. I prioritize safety, supervision, and maintaining a calm, comfortable space where pets can feel right at home. I follow owner instructions very carefully because I know how important consistency and trust are when someone is caring for your pet. Even though the yard is fully fenced, pets are still supervised outside and I also have security cameras for extra peace of mind. Living in Vegas, I’m very aware of the heat, so pets are never left outside for long periods, the yard has a canopy to provide shade and I’m always nearby and attentive when they’re ready to come back inside.
