Pet sitting is currently my full-time focus while I finish school online, and because my schedule is very flexible, I’m home most of the day. That means your pet will get lots of attention, consistency, supervision, and companionship instead of being left alone for long stretches of time. My boyfriend also lives in the home and is also a huge animal lover, so there is usually an extra set of attentive eyes, supervision, and love around for pets during their stay.

Safety, trust & environment

I prioritize safety, supervision, and maintaining a calm, comfortable space where pets can feel right at home. I follow owner instructions very carefully because I know how important consistency and trust are when someone is caring for your pet. Even though the yard is fully fenced, pets are still supervised outside and I also have security cameras for extra peace of mind. Living in Vegas, I’m very aware of the heat, so pets are never left outside for long periods, the yard has a canopy to provide shade and I’m always nearby and attentive when they’re ready to come back inside.

Information Savanah & Jacob M. would like to know about your pet

To ensure the safest and best care possible, I ask that owners share the following information before care (where applicable): • Energy level and exercise needs/ walking preferences • Leash behavior: especially for larger dogs (generally over ~70 lbs) • Temperament and reactivity: Any history of biting or reactivity toward people or animals. •Feeding schedule/portions, and any food restrictions (including treats, pup-cups, table scraps, or human food) • Training cues or commands your pet knows • Medical needs: Medications, chronic conditions, allergies, recent health changes, history of diarrhea or vomiting • Escape behaviors: Door-dashing, digging, or slipping out of harnesses. • Anxiety or behavioral concerns: Separation anxiety, new environments, crate preferences, or stress triggers. • Activities/Outings: Whether you’re comfortable with car rides, walks, hikes, or other outings during their stay & if your dog is well-socialized and approved for dog parks (if requested). • House rules you want enforced here: Furniture access, crate use, feeding locations, and sleeping arrangements. • Anything that helps your pet feel safest, happiest, and most comfortable while you’re away

A typical day

I genuinely enjoy spending time with animals, so they’re not just being “watched”, they’re being included in my day. Most days include lots of attention, cuddles, potty breaks, playtime, enrichment, and relaxing together throughout the day since I’m home most of the time. Consistency can really help reduce stress while owners are away so a typical day really depends on the pet. I try to match their normal routine, personality, and energy level as closely as possible. For higher-energy dogs, I’m happy to do early morning walks, hikes, park trips, or extra playtime before the Vegas heat kicks in (with owner approval of course). For more relaxed or senior pets, I’m just as happy spending the day chillax’n, cuddling on the couch and keeping things calm and comfy.

Pet care experience

What sets me apart as a sitter is that animal care isn’t just something I do on the side, it’s genuinely where my heart is. I’ve been around and caring for animals my entire life, with over 17 years of hands-on experience with dogs, cats, hamsters, birds, rabbits, turtles, and horses. I’m naturally very nurturing and observant, and I truly treat animals like family. Pet sitting is currently my full-time focus while I finish my psychology and neuroscience degree online, which means I’m home most of the day and able to give pets a lot of attention, supervision, love, and consistency. They’re not going to be left alone for long periods or stuck in a crate most of the day. I really try to make them feel safe, comfortable, and cared for while you’re away, like a vacation of their own. I also volunteer at The Animal Foundation and have received Fear Free training in animal handling, safety, body language, and behavior. Between that and my background in psychology and medicine, I pay very close attention to subtle behavior changes, body language, appetite, mobility, energy levels, stress, and comfort. If something seems off, I don’t ignore it. I adjust care as needed and communicate quickly so owners always feel informed and reassured. I also have experience administering injections and oral medications when needed, and know how important patience, gentleness, consistency, and observation can be for pets with medical needs, anxiety, or senior care. Every animal is different, and I genuinely enjoy getting to know their personalities, routines, quirks, and needs so I can care for them in a way that makes them happiest and most comfortable.

My corgis, Twinky and Lyon, are reactive to other dogs, so finding a sitter I can truly trust is usually very difficult. I’m always nervous leaving them with someone new because they need a calm, patient person who is comfortable handling reactive dogs. Savanah and Jacob exceeded my expectations. Throughout the stay, Savanah kept me updated with photos and messages, and it was obvious from every update that Twinky and Lyon were happy, relaxed, and well cared for. I especially appreciated seeing how much fun they had running around and playing with Jacob. It gave me so much peace of mind knowing they were not only safe, but genuinely enjoying themselves. I love how comfortable my dogs seemed with both Savanah and Jacob. As an owner of reactive dogs, that level of trust means everything. I’m incredibly grateful for the care, patience, and attention they gave my corgis, and I would absolutely book with Savanah again in the future. Highly recommend them to anyone looking for caring and reliable sitters!

A Truly Exceptional Dog Sitter — We Hit the Rover Jackpot with Savanah! We feel incredibly lucky to have found Savanah, and I want other pet parents to know just how amazing she is. This was our very first time using Rover, and honestly, we weren’t sure what to expect. We’ve never left our three dogs with anyone outside of family, so we were nervous — but Savanah completely changed that for us. She took phenomenal care of our three pups during our 7‑day trip. From the moment we dropped them off, she made us feel confident that they were in loving, capable hands. Throughout the entire week, she sent us detailed updates and tons of photos, showing us just how happy, relaxed, and well‑loved they were. It meant the world to us and made our trip so much more enjoyable knowing they were having such a great time. Savanah went above and beyond in every way. Her communication, her kindness, and the genuine care she showed our dogs were exceptional. Because of her, we now feel comfortable traveling more often simply knowing we have someone we trust completely. For anyone looking for the best possible care for their pets, I cannot recommend Savanah enough. She’s everything you hope to find in a sitter and more. We’ll absolutely be booking with her again and again!

Savanah was so welcoming from the start! Her home was warm and my dog seemed to be happy to be there right away. We got regular updates and photos! We can’t wait to take our next trip knowing he’ll be in good hands again.

Savanah was amazing with my fur babies, she always took amazing care of them following all rules and going above and beyond to provide all the love they needed when we were away. She would definitely be my go to everytime if I still lived nearby her! Anyways, she is very respectful, so definitely recommend her!
