My schedule is pretty flexible! Most Thursdays and Fridays I work out of the house, usually between 9AM–2PM, though those hours can vary a bit from week to week. Jacob is usually home on those days until around 2PM, so on a typical Thursday or Friday there may be a short period where your pet is home alone between our schedules. Outside of that, someone is usually always home, and your pet will receive plenty of attention, playtime, potty breaks, and love throughout their stay. If we do have to leave them alone for a short period, we always set up an indoor camera so we can check in on them. We have a doggy door so they always have access to the yard. We’re also happy to work around your pet’s normal routine and make sure they’re comfortable and well cared for while they’re with us.

Safety, trust & environment
I prioritize safety, supervision, and maintaining a calm, comfortable space where pets can feel right at home. I follow owner instructions very carefully because I know how important consistency and trust are when someone is caring for your pet. Even though the yard is fully fenced, pets are still supervised outside and I also have security cameras for extra peace of mind. Living in Vegas, I’m very aware of the heat, so pets are outside for long periods in the heat, and the yard has a canopy to provide shade. We have a doggy door insert for the sliding glass door, so they can go in and out as they want.

A typical day
I genuinely enjoy spending time with animals, so they’re not just being “watched”, they’re being included in my day. Most days include lots of attention, cuddles, potty breaks, playtime, enrichment, and relaxing together throughout the day since I’m home most of the time. Consistency can really help reduce stress while owners are away so a typical day really depends on the pet. I try to match their normal routine, personality, and energy level as closely as possible. For higher-energy dogs, I’m happy to do early morning walks, hikes, park trips, or extra playtime before the Vegas heat kicks in (with owner approval of course). For more relaxed or senior pets, I’m just as happy spending the day chillax’n, cuddling on the couch and keeping things calm and comfy.

Pet care experience
What sets me apart as a sitter is that animal care isn’t just something I do on the side, it’s genuinely where my heart is. I’ve been around and caring for animals my entire life, with over 17 years of hands-on experience with dogs, cats, hamsters, birds, rabbits, turtles, and horses. I’m naturally very nurturing and observant, and I truly treat every pet like they’re apart of my own family. I’m home most of the time and able to give pets a lot of attention, supervision, love, and consistency. I really try to make them feel safe, comfortable, and cared for while you’re away, like a vacation of their own. I also volunteer at The Animal Foundation and have completed Fear Free training in animal handling, safety, body language, and behavior. Combined with my background in psychology and medicine, I’m especially attentive to subtle changes in behavior, appetite, mobility, energy level, stress, and overall well-being. If something seems off, I don’t ignore it, I adjust care as needed and communicate so owners always feel informed and reassured. I also have experience administering injections and oral medications, and I understand how important patience, gentleness, consistency, and observation can be for pets with medical needs, anxiety, or senior care. Every pet is unique, and one of my favorite parts of this job is getting to know their individual personality, routines, quirks, and preferences so I can care for them in the way that makes them feel happiest and most at home.

Reviews

They were wonderful. They took excellent care of our dog. Very loving and caring people. They gave us consistent updates and lots of photos. We would highly recommend them. And would definitely use them again.

Absolutely amazing!! Her and her boyfriend fit my pups in quickly with odd pick up and drop off times. Sent photos and videos the dogs had a blast, gave me time to handle a few errands during a road trip with getting my babies out of the heat. 10/10

My corgis, Twinky and Lyon, are reactive to other dogs, so finding a sitter I can truly trust is usually very difficult. I’m always nervous leaving them with someone new because they need a calm, patient person who is comfortable handling reactive dogs. Savanah and Jacob exceeded my expectations. Throughout the stay, Savanah kept me updated with photos and messages, and it was obvious from every update that Twinky and Lyon were happy, relaxed, and well cared for. I especially appreciated seeing how much fun they had running around and playing with Jacob. It gave me so much peace of mind knowing they were not only safe, but genuinely enjoying themselves. I love how comfortable my dogs seemed with both Savanah and Jacob. As an owner of reactive dogs, that level of trust means everything. I’m incredibly grateful for the care, patience, and attention they gave my corgis, and I would absolutely book with Savanah again in the future. Highly recommend them to anyone looking for caring and reliable sitters!
A Truly Exceptional Dog Sitter — We Hit the Rover Jackpot with Savanah! We feel incredibly lucky to have found Savanah, and I want other pet parents to know just how amazing she is. This was our very first time using Rover, and honestly, we weren’t sure what to expect. We’ve never left our three dogs with anyone outside of family, so we were nervous — but Savanah completely changed that for us. She took phenomenal care of our three pups during our 7‑day trip. From the moment we dropped them off, she made us feel confident that they were in loving, capable hands. Throughout the entire week, she sent us detailed updates and tons of photos, showing us just how happy, relaxed, and well‑loved they were. It meant the world to us and made our trip so much more enjoyable knowing they were having such a great time. Savanah went above and beyond in every way. Her communication, her kindness, and the genuine care she showed our dogs were exceptional. Because of her, we now feel comfortable traveling more often simply knowing we have someone we trust completely. For anyone looking for the best possible care for their pets, I cannot recommend Savanah enough. She’s everything you hope to find in a sitter and more. We’ll absolutely be booking with her again and again!
