About: I’ve cared for pets through Rover in the past during my undergrad years and continued to pet sit occasionally while living on the East Coast. Spending time with animals has always been something I truly enjoy, and I’ve missed having pets around. Now that I’m back home with family and working from home full-time, I have the flexibility and availability to provide attentive, loving care. I recently decided to rejoin Rover because I genuinely miss caring for pets and want to offer pet parents peace of mind knowing their fur babies are with someone calm, caring, and reliable while they’re away. Pet care fits really naturally into my daily routine since I work from home. I’m able to plan my day around walks, feedings, playtime, and check-ins, rather than squeezing them in before or after work. Being home most of the day allows me to give pets consistent attention, follow their routines closely, and respond to their needs as they come up. I enjoy building care into my day and making sure pets feels comfortable, safe, and cared for while their parents are away. When caring for pets in their home by sticking closely to their routine and making sure they feel safe, comfortable, and cared for. About: I grew up with animals from dogs to guinea pigs. I have experience with owning and caring for a pet. I have the space and recourses to board or pet sit. I would love to care for your fur baby. I am free during day all week. I have an open schedule Saturday, Sunday and Monday. I have time to care for pets whether it is giving scheduled medications or just to be walked and played with. My backyard is completely closed with concrete wall. I do allow pets in my house. The pet will have easy access in and out of the house.

About: I’ve grown up with dogs my whole life, from Golden Retrievers, to Lhasa Apsos, to rescue mixes, so I’m comfortable with a wide range of personalities and needs. About: Cleaning, feeding, and petting, are my specialities when it comes to dogs. I haven't really trained dogs, besides the basics, but I love spending time with them. I'm currently unemployed (looking for a source of steady income), so I'm available to watch your furry members of the family any time starting in December. About: Growing up, I’ve always had a huge love for animals. I’ve been around all different kinds of pets and have always loved how every animal has their own personality, habits, and little quirks. I think that’s a big part of why I enjoy caring for animals so much. One of my favorite things about pet sitting is getting to know each pet individually. Some pets will be excited to see you right away and want all the attention, while others are more shy and need some time to feel comfortable around you. I never want to force a pet to interact with me. I’d rather be patient, earn their trust, and let them come to me when they’re ready. I’ve cared for pets with all different personalities and energy levels, and I understand that every pet needs something different. Whether they’re super playful and energetic, older and more relaxed, nervous around new people, or just have their own little routine, I’m happy to adjust my care to what works best for them. I’m also comfortable following specific feeding schedules, giving medications when needed, keeping up with walks and potty breaks, and making sure pets get plenty of attention and enrichment throughout the day. Since we’re in Vegas, I’m especially careful with the heat and make sure outdoor time is safe and appropriate depending on the weather. I really believe pets aren’t just pets they’re family. Taking care of Pets honestly fits really naturally into my everyday routine because I genuinely love being around animals. I’m pretty flexible with my schedule, so I’m able to plan my day around whatever the pets I’m watching need. I don’t want them to feel like they’re just being “checked on” I want them to actually have someone around who gives them attention, plays with them, and keeps them company while their owners are gone. Depending on the pet, my day can look different. I’ll make sure they’re fed on their normal schedule, have fresh water, get their potty breaks, go on walks, play with their favorite toys, and get lots of love and attention. I’m also totally okay with just hanging out with them if that’s what they prefer. Some pets are ready to play all day, while others just want to lay next to you and be your little shadow, and honestly I love both. I also like keeping pets mentally and physically entertained, whether that’s playing fetch, practicing commands, giving them toys or enrichment activities, or just spending one-on-one time with them. I’ll always try to keep their normal routine because I know being away from their family can already be a big change for them. And because we’re in Vegas, I’m definitely careful with the heat. I’m not going to take a dog out for a long walk when it’s insanely hot outside. I’ll plan walks and potty breaks around the cooler parts of the day and spend more time indoors playing, relaxing, and keeping them company when it’s too hot. Overall, I really just want the pets I watch to feel like they have a second best friend while their family is away. I want them to be excited to see me, feel safe with me, and have a good time instead of feeling lonely or stressed. I provide a safe, clean, and comfortable environment where pets can feel relaxed and cared for. I’m responsible, attentive, and always prioritize each pet’s safety, needs, and routine. I treat every animal with patience, kindness, and the same care I would give my own pets.

About: I grew up on a farm surrounded by all kinds of animals, so caring for pets has always felt natural to me. From a young age, I learned how to read different personalities, respect boundaries, and make animals feel safe and comfortable. That experience still guides how I care for pets today. I currently share my home with two dogs. One senior at 12, a kind and spunky Shepherd mix named Ozzy. A younger at 8, a gentle and playful Golden Retriever named Clint. I also have two rabbits named Sam and Frodo ( who Basically rule the house). So I’m familiar with different ages, energy levels, and routines. About: I’ve taken care of my own dog, Ky, since she was 11 weeks old. I’ve dog and house sat for numerous friends, either dogs ranging from small chihuahua mixes to large pit bull mixes. I work remotely so I am always on with my dog. We go out every couple hours on long walks, adjusting for the heat of course. Since my schedule is so flexible, I can give any dog the attention it needs. I am completely equipped to walk your dog, take them to the park or care for them in your home. I follow the parental schedule and feedings and am a frequent communicator.

When I looked back at my camera afterward, I saw her constantly giving Mango pets, talking to her, and making sure she felt human connection and love that every dog deserves. About: Hello, my name is Alexa (some friends also call me by middle name, Cecilia). I have been a dog lover and parent since I was young, and as an adult have gotten the opportunity to care for a variety of breeds and ages. I have experience with small breeds, senior dogs, and puppies/adolescent dogs in my own home as well as when friends and neighbors need some extra help. Medication regimens, playtime, training sessions, and of course some cuddle time are all in my comfort zone. Whatever accommodations you need for your pet, I am happy to provide and send photo/video updates while you're away! I currently have a part-time job in the evenings only a few days a week, and also take classes at UNLV. However, most of my schooling is online and my work schedule is very flexible as well. With that flexibility, I can be available in the Daytime and Evenings. For longer stays, extra notice will help me plan accordingly to accept the opportunity to care for your pets. Whether there's a backyard available or not, I'm happy to take your pet out and about to ensure they stretch their legs and get their sniff on.
