About: I have over two years of experience working in dog daycares as both a caregiver and leash trainer. This role allowed me to care for dogs of all sizes and temperaments while teaching proper walking behavior for safer and more enjoyable outings. My hands-on experience also includes working with big dogs and managing multi-pet households, ensuring I can meet a variety of needs. I have free availability- free during the week or weekend and most times of the day. I have side projects and local family to visit, but happy to work with you to support you and your pet at whatever time is needed. With two years of experience at dog daycares, I’ve developed skills in handling larger breeds as well as little ones ensuring each pet's safety and happiness. I've also been a pet owner myself, caring for two curious cats Midnight and Whitey and my loyal dog Mushu back in Nevada, where I first discovered my love for animal care. Now, even though I don’t currently have pets, my commitment to understanding and meeting the unique needs of every animal remains strong. Whether it’s a walk around the block or a play session, I focus on creating a fun, nurturing environment for each pet. I believe every animal deserves patience, love, and companionship, and I’m dedicated to bringing a sense of joy and comfort to every pet I care for. Happy to care for all shapes and sizes of furry creatures- cats, dogs, big, small, energetic, timid, I’m here to support.

“Nicolette was wonderful! Very communicative and helpful! I found her last minute and she was so accommodating! I really enjoyed all the photos and videos she sent me while on my trip. Definitely would recommend her and use her again. She took great care of my boy taco! Thank you again!”

“Sanura is wonderful! She helped take care of our elderly dog at the very last minute for a week. Our home and baby were excellently cared for and loved. We will definitely ask her to dog/house sit again. Thank you, Sanura, for everything!”

“Crystal did a great job caring for my fur-babies over the Christmas holiday! I have a senior dog that requires extra care & she handled it well along with caring for my big dog. She even washed the senior dogs sweaters that got dirty so he would have clean sweaters to wear during the extreme cold temperatures.”

“Dayja was the best pet sitter we have ever had. From the day I first reached out to her on Rover, she was very responsive. (Quick to reply, thorough, enthusiastic, and polite.) Since my husband and I both work from home, our dogs are used to having someone there 24/7. I knew I was asking a lot, but I asked Dayja if she could be there pretty much the whole time for six days. (I prefer not to leave the younger dog more than three hours.) She was willing and able to meet that request! (Which is hard to find in a sitter.) My pets are my babies, so I left a crazy amount of instructions before we left. (A four page Google doc, how-to videos for feeding, etc.) Dayja was so kind and responsive and clearly she read every word of those four pages. While we were away, Dayja sent us photos 2-3 times a day. That gave me so much peace of mind! I knew my pets were safe and happy. I was able to enjoy my trip so much more, because I wasn’t constantly thinking: “are the pets ok?”.. Aside from all of the above, I told Dayja when garbage day was. I told her to please set the garbage out if she remembered. She not only remembered to do so, but she even brought the garbage cans back inside. (Even though we were coming home that day.) When we got home, the pets were happy and healthy, their food and water bowls were clean and full, and our house was exactly how we left it. (It didn’t seem like she used any towels, dishes, or had any garbage?!) Oh! AND … my younger dog hates a lot of people. (Think: aggressive barking, sometimes biting.) She knew this, was not afraid, accepted the challenge, and he loved her! She sent me photos of him snuggling with her on the couch! 🤯 Last thing: our older dog has a tumor on her anus. Sometimes this makes poop stick to that area and we have to wipe it clean. We mentioned this to Dayja (hoping she didn’t have to deal with it) and she updated us that she did it a few times. All that to say, if you are hesitant to hire a stranger to watch your pets, I can relate. (I was nervous!) But the next time I go out of town, Dayja will be my first call. (Even though I could take them to my mom”s house for free.)”

“Halloween was great, she showed up early and updated me with photos and video clips of my dog playing with her toys. My dog really liked her and I definately will be using her again.”

“Liz stayed at our home with our dog Gizzy while we took a short two-night trip and was very accommodating to our schedule. We left early in the morning and returned late in the evening 3 days later. Liz works close by to our home so she offered to stop in and let Gizzy out during her lunch time. She stayed through mid evening (and even offered to stay later) on our return day is we were not getting in until 10 p.m. and she checked in with us to make sure that we had arrived home. So much appreciated that! ? She also gave us updates and sent both pictures and videos while we were away. Gizzy seemed happy and unstressed when we returned. In addition, I had a couple of packages delivered and she brought those in for us and our home looked the same as it did when we left it.”
