About: I have always been an animal lover! I always have to stop and pet when I see them. I have often pet sat/boarded our neighbors animals for weeks even. I love all animals! I am currently a stay at home mom so I have extra time to come walk your pets, sit with them, or even for them to come stay with me I am home all day. At my home pets are always on leash and walked on grass/sidewalk. Can be kept in a separate area if requested! Clients home is based on clients wishes (backyard/dog park/sidewalk). I also have 3 loving dogs and 2 cats that stay with me currently!

About: Hello! I love all types of pets and currently have two dogs of my own. I am a student at Virginia-Maryland college of veterinary medicine trying to earn some extra money by doing what I love, playing with pets. I have experience with all types of pets at varying sizes and personalities. During my undergraduate career, I raised two Seeing Eye Dogs and helped other raisers with training. During this time, I worked at a veterinary hospital, participated in animal specific events like vaccination clinics, and groomed. From healthy puppies and kittens to seniors who need medication, I have seen it all and am prepared to help with whatever your pet needs. I hope I can meet your fur babies and shower them with love while you’re away. I offer additional grooming services, ask about them if your interested. As someone who owns two dogs, pet care is a priority in my life. Both of my pups get plenty of one-on-one time as well as long walks and enrichment in the house. During the day, the pups are crated while I am at school, but if my boyfriend is off of work they get to run around and play. As soon as I get home the dogs get taken out and fed. Along with daily care, I take care of all of their grooming and medical needs as well. I currently live in apartment complex which has a dog play area for your furry friends to get plenty of exercise. There is also a trail connected to the complex which will be utilized for long walks and plenty of sniffing opportunities. Both of my pups are very friendly and would be happy to be your pet’s playmate during their stay.

About: I am a big believer that humans need dogs as much as dogs need humans and I would love to be that human for your dog! I am currently a student at Virginia College of Osteopathic Medicine earning a Masters degree in Biomedical science. I have classes during the week from 8-12, but spend every minute after class home in my apartment with the exception of an hour break to go to the gym. On the weekends i am often studying, so I will be home at all times. I have a small one bedroom apartment that has plenty of room for a dog to have free range. I allow dogs on the furniture and bed so that is no issue. There is plenty of room for a crate, which i would prefer if I am leaving the dog alone while I am at class. There is an excellent 2 mile walking trail around my complex that I do daily and would love to take your dog as my companion!

About: I like to take a supervised yet hands-off approach to watching over dogs. That is, letting dogs be their curious and playful selves while making sure they're safe and well taken care of. I've owned dogs my whole life (breeds including portuguese water dog, rottweilers, maltese/poodle mix, terrier mix, schnauzer/poodle mix, and a german shepherd currently) and find that they are happier and better behaved when given freedom to explore and lead rather than be expected to remain obedient and tame at all times. Some pups need more structure and thrive on a little more rigidity though, and I am very capable of meeting whatever their needs are and sticking to what you know is best for their personality. I am easily swooned by all kinds of dogs but am not one to let them use their good looks and charm to get the best of me. I am mostly just excited to hang out with as many of these guys as I can! I do want to be transparent that I work regular hours Mon - Fri, so I cannot stay with your pups 24/7 during the week. That being said, lunch time bathroom breaks are a guarantee! Walks in the morning and in the evening, and a quick potty break in the afternoon! I do have a day job, but your sweet pup will always be my first priority. I have a large backyard and live just a few short minutes from the Huckleberry Trail 🙂 I also have a spacious yard where your furry friend can roam free!

I’m originally from Charlottesville, Virginia, and currently a full-time undergraduate student at Virginia Tech living in Blacksburg. Whether it’s a high-energy puppy or a calm senior dog, I pride myself on providing attentive, loving care tailored to each pet’s unique needs. I understand how important it is to trust someone with your furry family member, and I’m here to give you peace of mind while making sure your pup is safe, happy, and well cared for. I’m currently working full time during the summer here in Charlottesville. However I’m free for walks before 9am and my work day is over at 5:30. I prioritize safety by keeping a clean, pet-friendly environment and following each pet’s routine closely. Whether in my home or yours, I ensure secure spaces, constant supervision, and lots of love and attention to build trust and keep your pet comfortable.

About: We are a homeschooling family of five. After losing our first dog last year, we finally adopted again. Our pup is very social and although she has plenty of attention at home, she would love to have fur friends to play with. We are available most days of the week and are out of the house not more than 1-2 hours at a time. We have three children between the ages of five and eleven who all love dogs and are very gentle with them. We’d love to play, walk, or just hang out. I know how special the bond between a pet and human can be and that it can be hard to leave them behind. When I moved from the west to east coast six years ago, it was a big realization how difficult it is to leave the pets behind with someone you don't know. I hope to provide that comfort in knowing they are in amazing hands! I have a part time job in the area, which still gives me plenty of time to fill up my days to care for your pet. I provide a calm presence to your pet while I come to check on them and will take the time to ensure they feel comfortable.
