“Georgia was fantastic! She was available on short notice and took amazing care of our dog, Milo. Our dog is an anxious rescue, but she is a dog whisperer and immediately put our boy at ease and he was even wanting to sleep with her night one and showing his belly which he doesn’t do unless he’s 100% comfortable. I apologized for running low on his supplies and for him being a little stinky since his bath was delayed and she didn’t even hesitate to offer to go grab what he needed and even offered to bathe him. On top of taking great care of him, she took care of us anxious dog parents and communicated every step of the way and gave lots of updates and pictures. I couldn’t recommend her enough. Will definitely be using her in the future.”

“We had a fantastic experience with Lindsey. She was reliable, on time for the visits, friendly and great at keeping us updated and sending pics of our babies. Will definitely book with her again in the future!”

“Dora was absolutely wonderful. My dogs loved her and she took great care of them. Left our house as she found it - maybe cleaner!- and sent lots of videos and texts. Will definitely have her back!”

“Sonia was so kind to take a last minute booking for a family emergency. She came for a meet and greet and asked great questions to make sure she was prepared. She was communicative and sent pictures throughout the stay, and followed through the schedule we had discussed. She definitely seems like a dog whisperer, when she came to bring the key back, my dog stood at the door watching her! I would absolutely welcome her back to house/dog sit.”

“Samuel was fantastic!! We have never left our girls with anyone but family before, so Samuel came for a meet and greet before we booked and he put us at ease. Both dogs really liked him from the start. He stayed at our house for 3 nights and sent multiple pictures and updates every day! It really helped us to enjoy our vacation knowing the girls were in good hands!! Thanks Sam!! A+++++”

“Meg was great! I've never let anyone whom I did not know stay in my house, but I tried Rover and Meg out per a friends suggestions. She stayed for 4 days and watched my 4 dogs and 1 cat. She was wonderful, I came back to a house cleaner than I left it and to very happy puppies. Thank tou Meg! ”
“Wonderful! Very attentive to my poodles. Helped to address a food issue when one of mine went on a hunger strike. Very respectful of my home. She stayed for 3 days and 2 nites. Great communication! Love her!!”

“Damien did an amazing job at caring for my dogs. They warmed up to him very quickly loved being around him. He was also very respectful of the house and very clean. I will be booking him again. I highly recommend Damien to anyone needing a good sitter.”

“Wow, I can not believe the great job that she did and will definitely be using her services again. I was left a little in a predicament when another sitter backed out in me just 3 days before I was supposed to be gone for a week. Denise answered my last minute plea for help and we did a meet and greet with the animals. She did a great job taking care of them and I am sure they will miss her especially Coco, who she always took on walks. I highly recommend her.”

“William is awesome. He took great care of Brooklyn, was super responsive and communicative, and respectful of the house. Very professional. Also took amazing pics of Brooklyn and should consider a second career as a pet photographer”

About: I have taken care of pups since high school! Friends, family, and customers have relied on me for walks, baths, and love. :) I am currently getting masters degree (my classes are in the evening) so I have free time during the day to love and spend time with your pups! I am available M-W and some weekends (I am flexible). I am dedicated to giving your pet the time and care they need during drop-ins, walks, or care at your home! Respect is a big thing. I have 11 years experience working within clients homes, with children, and with animals. Your home and pet will be in safe hands.
“We had an amazing experience with Rylee and would absolutely book her again. She took such great care of our dogs while we were on vacation and kept us updated with thoughtful messages and photos throughout her stay. Seeing how happy and comfortable our dogs were with her gave us complete peace of mind. She was attentive to their needs, detail-oriented, and clearly genuinely cares about the animals she watches. On top of that, she went above and beyond with our home — taking out the trash (inside and patio), neatly gathering her used linens and towels, and making sure everything was in order before she left. Rylee is reliable, considerate, and truly a fantastic dog sitter. We’re so thankful to have found her and highly recommend her to anyone looking for someone trustworthy to care for their pets.”

“Jessica was amazing with our dog Ollie! Always communicated well and sent us plenty of photos and videos of how he was doing. Would have her watch him any time 😊”

“Leah is the first person to watch our pets (out of many) with whom I felt completely comfortable and didn’t worry about my pets constantly. She was communicative and made it clear that she takes care of our pets like she would her own!”

About: I have hands-on experience caring for dogs of all needs, including raising and rescuing a three-legged dog, which taught me patience and how to handle disabilities and medical care. I’m comfortable with routines and medications and always prioritize a dog’s comfort and safety. I’ve pet sat many times, often while babysitting, so I’m reliable and responsible. I’m also experienced with puppies, currently raising a French Bulldog and an Australian Shepherd, and I bring patience, attention, and genuine love to every dog I care for. Pet care fits well into my routine. Monday–Thursday I babysit from 8–3, so I’m available early mornings, afternoons, evenings, and late nights. I can do drop-ins, walks, or feedings around that schedule and stay consistent. On weekends, I’m fully available at any time of day, which allows me to provide more flexible care, including longer visits or overnight stays depending on your pet’s needs. I care for pets in their own home to keep them comfortable and stress-free in a familiar environment. I closely follow their normal routine, including feeding schedules, walks, potty breaks, and any specific instructions you provide. My goal is to maintain a clean, organized space while also making sure your pet has plenty of fun, exercise, and attention. I’m experienced with puppies, high-energy dogs, seniors, and dogs with medical needs, and I can administer medications if needed. I always respect your home and leave it just as clean as I found it.
About: I've experienced the magic of pets since I was young. My parents' house includes a Shih Tzu, Labrador, and a mixed cat! They behave different but have tons of love that they give us. We love our pets, and I know you love yours, too. I've cared for pets of a variety of ages and sizes. I update clients every day / walk that their pet is in my care. If you need a scheduled sitter in advance or a last minute sitter, just ask! Let's work together. First-time clients get 10% off for the first appointment. I'm responsible and trustworthy. I hold a master's degree and work full-time, but can step away during lunch breaks to feed pets and can go after 5pm. I also love giving daily updates on your pet while you are away! For house sitting, I leave your home the way I find it. I appreciate a clean space in my own home, and I take pride in respecting your home. I enjoy jogging / hiking. I regularly walk my parents' Labrador when I am home; thus, taking your fur baby on a walk is not a challenge for me. I walk often, and will be sure to keep your pets safe! I am aware of snakes and other predators lurking in San Antonio's trails and have training in snake bite care. I haven't had to use it, yet, but it is good info to know! I can walk your dog anytime after 5pm, Mondays - Fridays. I am usually flexible with my time on weekends if given advanced notice. I do not walk pets in extreme heat (outside temperature of 90 or more, unless their is ample shade in your neighborhood), as I prioritize their safety/wellness and do not want to burn their paws.

“She is amazing! Kept me updated throughout my business trip.....my dog doesnt just warm up to anyone but she did a great job in making him feel safe and ultimately gain his trust....new dog sitter moving forward!!!”

“Matthew stayed at our place over the holiday weekend, and watched our 2 dogs. No issues whatsoever and he was great about sending us updates and pictures while we were away! Will definitely be booking Matthew again!”
Shavano Heights pet parents share their Rover experiences
Dorothy was absolutely amazing with both of our boys! We had a meet and greet before she house sat for us and the boys instantly loved her. While we were away, she followed all of our rules, especially with giving Odie his daily medication twice a day. She sent us constant pictures of the boys while we were away, and there was never a moment where she was not playing with them and keeping them entertained. Dorothy was an amazing sitter, and we will be more than happy to have her watch over our boys again. Thank you Dorothy!!

Victoria did a wonderful job sitting for my dogs and cats. I know it's a lot of work with multiple pets, especially with my oldest dog, Charlie, who takes multiple medications. Victoria followed all instructions and kept me updated with pictures and messages while I was gone. I appreciated not having to worry while I was out of town.

Leola was AMAZING!!! She was so sweet to my 2 dogs and took great care of them and my home. One of my pups had tummy issues and she was very knowledgable with that to do. She arrived right on time, send me photos and videos to ease my nerves about leaving, and was very quick to reply in our communications. I HIGHLY recommend you allow Leola to take care of your furbabies. I will ABSOLUTELY be asking her to come back soon!!

Kadence was amazing! I was nervous due to the length and time difference of my trip, but Kadence was so great! My cats are happy and relaxed, my apartment tidy, and she was responsive to any messages I sent. I am very happy with the level of care she showed my pets and my place 😊

We had an unexpected situation come up right as we were leaving for Puerto Rico, and our original sitter canceled last minute. Thankfully, this amazing couple stepped in on very short notice and completely saved the trip for us. From day one, they were incredibly reliable, communicative, and caring. They made sure our dog was comfortable, stuck to his routine, and handled his medication perfectly. We got regular updates and pictures, which gave us so much peace of mind while being away. You can tell they genuinely care about the pets they look after, and that meant everything to us. We came back to a happy, well-cared-for dog, and we couldn’t be more grateful. Highly recommend them to anyone looking for trustworthy and attentive sitters—we’ll definitely be booking with them again!

Abby did a great job with our pets on a short notice request for watching our pets. She was very respectful and helpful during her visit. She was very helpful and responsive to any questions I had, kept me informed the entire time we were gone. I can’t imagine a better person for the job.
