About: I took care of my dog, Luna, since the first day she was born because her mom didn’t want her. I’d wake up every 2 hours to make sure she ate while she was little because I didn’t want anything to happen to her. Now she’s 4 years old running around with her parents and siblings. I have a cat, she recently turned one. I take her everywhere with me, she loves car rides now. At home I have dogs who I’d always look forward going to play with after work. Pets have been a part of my life for a while now and I enjoy it. When it comes to dogs, puppies, I know that most of the time all they want to do is play and I’m okay with that. I think it’s an important part of their life to keep them healthy and happy.I know some pets don’t like being alone and it’s makes me sad to see pets waiting by the door for their owners to show up. So I look forward to being with them whether it’s playing with them or just keeping them company while you’re out working or running errands.

About: I have owned and cared for cats for the majority of my life. My sweet cat Rigby is nine years old, who had stomatitis which caused him to lose all his teeth, because of this I am comfortable administering medication or food through a feeding tube, a syringe and by mouth if need be. He also has sensitive skin, so I have applied topical ointments and oils to his skin. He also lets me clip his nails and clean his ears. I work as a grad intern in the school system, so I am available after 4pm on weekdays and available anytime on weekends, or flexible depending on my part-time job. I have a nine year old cat who had stomatitis which caused him to lose all his teeth, so I cared for his pre and post operation care, like administering food and medicine through his feeding tube. I believe open communication is key, so I will always contact you before making a decision regarding your fur baby. I love and cherish all animals. I have not cared for my own dog, yet, but I would love to learn!

We love our pets, and I know you love yours, too. I've cared for pets of a variety of ages and sizes. I update clients every day / walk that their pet is in my care. I hold a master's degree and work full-time, but can step away during lunch breaks to feed pets and can go after 5pm. I also love giving daily updates on your pet while you are away! For house sitting, I leave your home the way I find it. I appreciate a clean space in my own home, and I take pride in respecting your home. I enjoy jogging / hiking. I regularly walk my parents' Labrador when I am home; thus, taking your fur baby on a walk is not a challenge for me. I walk often, and will be sure to keep your pets safe! I am aware of snakes and other predators lurking in San Antonio's trails and have training in snake bite care. I haven't had to use it, yet, but it is good info to know! I can walk your dog anytime after 5pm, Mondays - Fridays. I am usually flexible with my time on weekends if given advanced notice. I do not walk pets in extreme heat (outside temperature of 90 or more, unless there is ample shade in your neighborhood), as I prioritize their safety/wellness and do not want to burn their paws.

For check-ins or dog walking, I enter your home and greet your precious pets to ease any entry anxiety and check that their environment is safe and calm. I refill (and clean, if necessary) water bowls, and if requested, feed your pets the requested portions along with any oral medications. For cat drop-ins, I do a thorough daily scoop of the litter box and clean up any tracked litter. For pups, I immediately handle any accidents made during time unsupervised. Being well-versed in caring for both dogs and cats, in the many life stages, your pet will receive the best playtime (or chill time if that's their cup of tea!).
