About: I've been taking care of animals for as long as I can remember, and I have experience with dogs and cats of all kinds. I have a deep respect for all animals, including those that are shy or have special needs, and I'm committed to giving every animal the care they deserve. I'm available on most weekends and holidays. I occasionally have weekdays open as my work schedule allows. I will have Fridays available for part of the summer. When introducing myself I allow the animal to approach me first, I take things slow if they're shy or nervous. I'm familiar with dog and cat body language so I can recognize signs of stress. When walking dogs I'm always aware of my surroundings and will adjust the route if I need to.

“Hannah was great! I’m so glad we booked her as our catsitter. She was very communicative and flexible, adjusting to the change in dates for our trip. She made sure to visit the cats twice daily, at specific times so she could give our diabetic cat his insulin injections. She was comfortable giving the insulin injections and made sure to play with both cats each day. She also watered our plants and brought in our packages. And after every visit she provided a detailed report with lots of pictures. I loved knowing the cats were in good hands and I will definitely be hiring her again for any cat sitting needs we have in the future.”
About: I have owned and lived with dogs and cats for my entire life. After losing my beloved shihtzu 6 years ago I decided I wanted to dedicate my life to helping others. I foster pets, dogsit/housesit board and walk dogs and I have a flexible schedule. I love dogs of all sizes but I only have space in my own home for dogs under 20lbs. I am available to do home checks and midday walks. I am available for overnights or weekends stays. I will of course follow your rules for whether pets are allowed on the furniture but as far as I am concerned, your pets are family and in my home they can go anywhere that I can go! I love field trips and fun adventures with your pup and can also just hang out if they need companionship. About: For a year, I walked my neighbor's Cavalier King Charles spaniel while she was recovering from a hip injury, until she could walk better. She and her daughter greatly appreciated my help and have said to me that their dog Cooper has been so much happier ever since he met me. I am a college student that goes to school 5 days a week from 7am to 2 pm. I can do early morning walks before 7am since I am a morning person, and I can do walks or come over after class. I am free on most weekends. I am free most of the time in the summer from June to August. I cannot bring pets into my home since I have two cats that are not very pet-friendly. But I can do all the care you need me to do at your house.

About: Albany area, Open to long stays as well as short. I work M-F in office but love to stay home on the weekends. I’ve have taken care of small and big dogs since I was 15. I love to play fetch and keeping them company when they’re lonely and missing their parents. I just moved over to Albany from California and currently have all the free time in the world. I am trying to get to know the city more by walking around with dogs. It’s great as I can also get my steps in and your pets will be all tuckered out when you get home. I live alone in a one bedroom so they have decent amount of space to roam around. I also live right next to SUNY so I can always take them out for a breath of fresh air or if they want a longer jog, Lincoln Park is right around the corner.

About: I've always had a family dog I've helped take care of, but 7 years ago I got a dog of my own. I really learned the amount of effort it takes to care for a dog, and I learmed that quality time is the most important aspect of caring for a dog. If your dog requires a lot of exercise, I'm more than happy to take them for as many walks as they need or play with them! If your dog is more mellow, I can just relax with them. Whatever needs your dog has, I am more than happy to care for them. In terms of safety, I always make sure to walk dogs at an appropriate leash length and make sure that doors in the house aren't open or dangerous objects are within their reach.

Nicole was amazing! We have used Rover for years, but have never had someone come to our house, so I was very anxious to start this process in general. Alexandra continues to be such a big help to our family! She's flexible, attentive, and the animals clearly love having her visit.
