“Masha is the best dog walker. Would recommend her service to anyone and any pet. She went above and beyond beyond for us. Very thankful to have had her take care of our pup.”

“Olivia did an awesome job with Lili! Lili was definitely apprehensive and nervous with a new person but Olivia was super accommodating for Lili and gave her the space she needed. She also gets in a long walk for Lili which helps since I’m at work all day! Thanks Olivia!! Grateful to have you to help with Lili every week :)”

“We needed help with our pup last minute and Misty was quick to respond and willing to work with our schedule. During the meet and greet I could tell she was very comfortable with animals as well as knowledgable. Overall Misty was amazing to work with and I felt at ease knowing our fur baby was in good hands.”

“Melissa has been dropping by to walk my dog Pepper for about a year now and I could not ask for a better experience!!! Pepper loves her and is always happy when I get home from work, and Melissa always takes time to play with her after their walk. Melissa is very responsive and easy to get ahold of. She is also usually able to squeeze us in if I book at the last minute. Overall I’ve had a very good, low stress experience!!!”

“May and Fred love Hannah !! They greeted her like they had known her before. Even my mammas boy left with her without looking back ! She’s sweet and gentle and clearly has the dog whisperer In her. Will be using her often going forward.”

About: I have cared for many animals in my life from dogs, to geckos and snakes. I have helped care for my childhood dog who had to have both eyes removed, and both of my dogs from adulthood who both had cancer. My daughter loves animals and misses her pets dearly. She is excited to help care for animals again too. I’m a preschool teacher in Rantoul, but my husband works from home. We can make times work especially starting in the early evening and weekends. Our home is pet friendly. We have some things still from our dogs. I am comfortable giving medications if needed to your fur babies (or scaly ones). We are in a pretty animal friendly neighborhood and a good area for walking.

About: Hello! I've enjoyed working with animals for all of my life. I have lived in the Champaign area at various times over the past 10 years with my father. I have not had experience working on Rover before but I'm looking forward to helping pet owners in the area! I recently moved back from Japan, so I've been searching for temporary employment in the Champaign area before starting graduate school in the fall. I have time available during the day, evenings and on weekends to provide care for pets. I can follow instructions on what care you need for your pet! I am not able to offer care in my own home, but I'm happy to do what it takes to meet your needs.

About: I have been around animals my whole life, I got my own dog when I was in elementary school and he still means the world to me this day. I always took the initiative to care for my pets growing up and that’s carried into my adult life as well. I think expressing love to animals is so important because we’re all they have. I have a dog myself and he is my world. Your fur babes deserve all the love in the world and I’d love to give it to them! I have many years of experience caring for dogs and I’m very confident in the care I can provide! Having my sweet pup Smokey means the most to me and I’m so happy to be a full time dog mom ❤️ I hope to be the perfect fit as a sitter for you! I am a full time stay at home wife/dog mom. I have nothing but time on my hands and would love to share it with you and your pet(s)! I do not currently offer services in my home due to the lack of space. However, I would love to care for your pets in your home!
About: Attentive care for dogs and cats from birth to geriatric stages. I have over 25 years of experience raising dogs, cats, horses, and fish. I no longer have any pets of my own. This enables me to focus solely on your loved one(s). For those looking for house or plant care while away... I have over 25 years of experience caring for a home. I have owned and rented. I can collect mail, water plants, mow the grass, keep the house clean, and take care of anything else you need in order to have peace of mind while you are away. I work Monday- Friday during the day. I am available in the evenings Monday-Friday. I am off on Saturday and Sunday. I am available anytime on Saturday and Sunday. Pets will be cared for in the manner that the owner requests. I will be as hands on or hands off as you would like.
About: I’ve been surrounded by animals my entire life, starting with two energetic border collies who taught me the importance of patience, exercise, and mental stimulation. Over the years, I’ve owned and cared for my own diverse range of pets including a bunny, fish, and amphibians, giving me hands-on experience with different care needs and environments. I regularly pet sit for friends and family, caring for both cats and dogs of all sizes and temperaments. I also volunteered with Best Friends Animal Society in LA after the fires, which deepened my understanding of animal behavior and care. From feeding schedules and medication to playtime and companionship, I understand that every pet has unique needs and personality quirks that make them special. My lifelong experience with animals has taught me to read their body language, recognize signs of stress or happiness, and provide the love and attention they need to feel safe and comfortable while their parents are away. Pet care seamlessly fits into my flexible schedule - I’m available seven days a week and can accommodate last-minute requests. Whether it’s daily walks, overnight stays, or extended care while you’re traveling, I can adapt to your pet’s routine and your family’s needs. I understand that pets thrive on consistency, so I’m committed to maintaining their regular feeding times, exercise schedules, and bedtime routines. My open availability means I can provide the reliable, stress-free care that gives you peace of mind when you’re away. In Your Home: I provide in-home pet sitting to keep your furry family members comfortable in their familiar environment. I’ll maintain their regular routines, provide companionship, and can stay overnight if needed. Your pets get personalized attention while enjoying the security of their own space, and you’ll receive regular updates and photos to keep you connected.
About: I’ve been around pets for as long as I can remember, so I’m very familiar with their daily needs, routines, and behavior. I also have experience dog sitting, where I’ve helped with walking, feeding, and spending time with pets. I bring strong responsibility and attentiveness from working in both an elementary school and a retirement home through Greencroft Communities! These experiences taught me how to follow detailed instructions, stay patient, and provide consistent, caring support in structured environments. I apply the same level of reliability and attention when caring for pets, making sure they are safe, comfortable, and well looked after during walks and sitting visits. Pet care fits easily into my weekly routine because I have a flexible schedule and am available most days. I enjoy a long walk with dogs if needed but short walks are perfect too! Drop-ins and sitting visits are something I will adjust my time as needed to provide consistent and reliable care. When caring for pets in a client’s home, I prioritize safety, trust, and respect for the home environment. I follow all provided instructions closely, maintain the pet’s normal routine, and make sure they feel comfortable and secure. I stay attentive during visits and communicate with owners if anything changes or needs attention. I treat each pet as if they were my own and focus on making sure they feel comfortable, calm, and well cared for while their owner is away.

About: My goal in life is to be your pets newest best friend. I have had experience with my very vocal and fat beagle that is 6. As well as a retired belgian malinois bomb dog that is 10. I can play fetch for hours, play games, or sit and cuddle a coach potato. I can be at your door anytime I do not have class at my flight school! I work part time at a coffee shop but my hours are very low because of school. I would really like pet sitting to be my job instead as I transition into this. I am attending a flight school to become a pilot. I am there just for a few hours a day through the week. But any chance I get I will pet sit! Since having experience with dogs and cats. I understand I am a visitor in THEIR home. I will make sure I do not intrude and make each visit a positive time. Walking, crating, potty breaks, a good cuddle and pet are all things I will do 100%. I also am at deep cleaning typical litter boxes, and can clean crates as well. If you have a fenced in yard I will play for hours. I love to walk dogs as long as they can be walked safely! Cats are pretty independent but I would love to come pay them attention!
About: I bring years of hands-on animal care experience from veterinary clinics, kennels, and long-term pet sitting, including special-needs care for a senior dog who requires diapers, hourly potty breaks, medication management, and a strict diet. My background in veterinary support and my 5-year commitment to caring for three dogs from one family means I’m reliable, detail-oriented, and fully comfortable supporting pets with complex routines. I treat every animal with patience, confidence, and genuine love, giving owners peace of mind while they’re away. Pet care fits easily into my weekly routine because, with school wrapping up, I have plenty of time to focus on consistent, reliable visits. I plan my days around each pet’s needs, keeping feeding, walks, and medications on schedule while balancing a few prior commitments on set days. For the most part, I’m available daily, which allows me to offer flexible booking, dependable check-ins, and attentive pet-focused care that never feels rushed. When caring for pets in a client’s home, I follow their routine exactly, keeping feeding, meds, and potty schedules consistent while maintaining a calm, clean environment. I provide gentle companionship, monitor behavior and health closely, and send regular updates so owners feel connected and reassured. My goal is to respect the home, reduce stress, and ensure every pet feels safe and understood.
About: I’ve taken care of pets for family and friends since I was a child, from just popping in to let them out to staying with them for weeks at a time. I have experience with some cats, puppies, and senior dogs, and have had my own dogs my whole life. I’m available for walks, daytime care, and overnight care, and can’t wait to meet your pets! I work part-time, so I will have time to play with, walk, and babysit your pets as needed! I am available for both week day and weekend care. In clients’ homes, I do my best to make sure your pet feels safe and sound with someone beside their family. I can easily stick to routines to ensure your pet stays on their regular schedule. I also keep houses clean and tidy, just how you left them. I’ll play with and get to know your pet to care for them like they’re my own!
About: Greetings! First - thank you for considering me and my services. I have been a pet owner all my life, and have been the proud parent of hamsters, fish, cats, dogs, and a rabbit! I'm also a responsible house sitter, having been both a homeowner and a renter, I understand the value of not just your pets, but your possessions, your mail and plants, the cozy space of your home, the relationships with your neighbors. I have provided these services for friends and families for most of my life. I have always loved animals and I have always owned pets, been a member of dog parks and puppy play groups, and I volunteered for the Champaign Humane Society for many years. I have also had pets with medication needs, so I am experienced in that area. For years I also groomed my own dogs, and I know that each pet has its own needs, preferences, and personalities. Finally, I recently lost my dog of 15 years, and although I now live somewhere that does not allow pets, I need animals in my life! From my own experience of being a Rover customer for many years, I also know how important it is to pet sit within your home with no disruption to your pet's routine or surroundings. I'm retired, so I can be flexible with your scheduling needs for both your pets and your home. I'm both an early riser and a night owl, so whatever works for you also works for me! I have been both a renter and homeowner, so I know how valuable your pets are, but also your cozy home, your plants, mail, and relationships with your neighbors. I have owned a bunny, hamsters, cats and dogs. But I also have an affinity for birds and reptiles. I have provided services for friends and family most of my life, now I just want to bring in a bit of extra cash to supplement social security. I'm also mainly a homebody, so if your home or your pets need extra care or a lot of time, I'm fully available.
About: Thank you for considering Pet Care by Amy! You get what you pay for with me. My rates are set so that I can focus on your pets during your booked time. I am huge on communication and will do my best to meet your pets’ needs and routine while you’re away. I respect the amount of trust that comes with leaving part of your family—and maybe your home—in my care, and I take that responsibility seriously. I’ve had dogs and cats (and a couple smaller critters here and there) since childhood and understand that pets are family. I currently have four small rescue dogs at home and am active in dog sitting for local friends and rescues. I know how it feels to leave your loved ones in someone else’s care, and I will do everything I can to give you peace of mind and make your fur babies as comfortable and happy as possible. My schedule is flexible, and I’ll do my best to work with you around my full-time day job. I’m generally free in the evenings and on weekends, so keep me in mind if you need a night away but want company for your furry housemates. I am happy to stay with your pets overnight and can also make time for daytime check-ins/walks as needed. Be sure to check out my holiday availability as well! Specific service notes: • PETSITTING/HOUSE SITTING (in your home): Defined as 10-12 hours overnight plus a minimum of 1-2 drop-in visits during the day with 1-2 photo and text updates per 24-hour period, depending on request times. Nightly rates include these services for up to two pets in the home. I will spend additional time with your pet(s) when I can, but in order to best accommodate clients and my general work and life responsibilities, please consider these the minimum expectations for a housesitting booking. It's important to communicate your pet's schedule and any special needs they may have related to timing so I can make sure they are as comfortable as possible. If your pet needs 24/7 care (aka constant care), please send me a message to discuss a quote. • DROP-IN VISITS and DOG WALKING (your home/neighborhood): Photo and text updates for these services are in the form of Rover Cards, which you can view in your Rover account. Booked time is based on arrival and departure to your home. (For example, if you book a 30-minute walk, that will include entering the home, leashing/unleashing and any other in-home tasks needed in addition to the walk itself.) • BOARDING and DAYCARE (in my home): I have set myself to "away" for these services to better accommodate the majority of my clients who request services outside my home rather than splitting time in and out. If you are interested in boarding or daycare for specific dates, please send me a message! Your pet’s safety is my priority! I am fully insured and pet first aid certified. I like to chat with you and meet your pet(s) before any scheduled bookings so we’re both on the same page about your instructions and expectations. I also value clear and frequent communication. (That includes pictures and updates of your loved ones while in my care!) I respect your home as my own and will leave it as clean, secure and maintained as I found it. If you have any house quirks or special instructions, just let me know. I can also give you a quote for cleaning or small projects while you’re away—let’s chat and make your experience as productive as possible! For boarding and daycare services (in my home), we ask that all dogs be spayed/neutered, up to date on vaccines, and taking monthly flea/tick/heartworm prevention. We typically do not host pets from multiple households at the same time, but please let me know if you have more than one dog for boarding/daycare and I’ll get you a quote. For the safety of our pets and yours, we are not able to host large dogs, cats or (human) children in our home, but I’m happy to come to yours! My husband is my “sidekick” in all things pet care. He generally handles our crew at home while I’m at a booking but may join me at initial Meet & Greets, on walks or bring meals to me during overnights. He maintains all the same standards as I do—and has the same clean background check as well—but I will always be your primary pet caregiver. 😉 If for any reason you prefer that he not interact with your pet or home, please let me know.

Whether you want a solo or group walk depends on your dog's personality. Solo walks can be beneficial for dog parents with reactive dogs, puppies, or dogs who are anxious around unfamiliar animals. Many dog walkers on Rover offer private, one-on-one walking services.
Group walks are a good fit for social dogs who enjoy structured walks. If your dog prefers the energy of a group stroll, ask your dog walker about group walks in your Seymour. Since all dog walkers are local, they may have a neighborhood dog who is a good walking companion to yours.
For dog walking services, you can request a report card update with specifics about your dog’s walk. Report cards require photos and can include a map of the walking route , total walk time, poop and pee breaks, and distance traveled, so you know exactly where your dog has been walking in Seymour.

The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
Yes, you can find walkers who have experience with handling special pet needs in Seymour. On Rover:
- 100% of walkers can help with special care needs
- 95% can help with giving oral medications or injections
- 100% can help with daily exercise
You can also find pet sitters on Rover who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies, kittens, or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.
Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a walker. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your walker or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your walker questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and walkers on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement walker.
