About: Hi! Over the years I have proudly fostered independently and through Haus of Dogs, Operation Foster, Seattle Area Feline Rescue and Paws and Claws. I am currently a volunteer at SCRAPS. I can provide excellent references and I have experience with senior pets and pets on meds and supplements. I will be sure to make your animal feel loved and cared for. I know it's hard for them and hard for you to be away from them, so never hesitate to text or facetime. About: I have a deep love and appreciation for my fuzzy little friends and all that they have taught me. I have learned everything I can to support my own pets and maybe even yours! I know how to perform CPR on both cats and dogs. I am comfortable following care plans for senior pets. Trained to provide subcutaneous fluids to kitties. I am currently available Monday - Thursday, barring the occasional appointments. I work long hours over the weekends so I am unfortunately not available at all Friday - Sunday I am a big believer in routine, as I know my fur babies definitely have and prefer theirs. About: I've worked with many breeds of dogs. Mostly small to mid-size dogs with a variety of traits. Mostly working dogs namely Blue Heelers & Huskys. About: My demeanor is very positive and caring. I believe animals can sense this about me and have no problem being comfortable with me entering their home and taking care of them! I was an animal technician for 2 years at a boarding and grooming facility. During this position I took care of cats & dogs by managing their playtime, feeding, and walking schedules. I also have experience with animals that need medication & was taught by a veterinarian to make swallowing medicine an easier experience for the animal. I have no problem giving shots to animals that are diabetic or that may have other conditions where injections are needed. I have grown up with animals & have dog/cat sat for over 10 years. walkers on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their contact information. Sitters may set a same-day, one-, three-, or seven-day cancellation policy. Cancelling within your sitter’s cancellation policy qualifies you for a full refund.
Same-day cancellations for recurring services, which include walks, drop-ins, and day care, follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for pet boarding and house sitting, if you cancel after 12 pm on the applicable cancellation deadline, you’ll receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for any remaining days.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means you will get a full refund and our support team will work with you to find a replacement walker.
