As a veteran Marine and someone who has competitively trained dogs since 2020, I approach pet care with structure, consistency, and discipline. I make sure pets are cared for with structure, safety, and attention to detail. I follow consistent feeding schedules, provide exercise and play tailored to each pet’s needs, and keep their environment clean and comfortable. With my background in competitive dog training, I also incorporate positive reinforcement and mental stimulation to ensure pets are not only well cared for but also engaged and happy.

About: I discovered my love for animals when my mom rescued a Shiba Inu shortly after my dad died. Since then, I've made every effort to learn as much as I can about cats and dogs, including going to professional grooming school and I'm currently working on becoming a certified dog trainer. Most of my experience with cats has come from my sister and her roommate, but I love cats just as much as I love dogs I do have another part time job, but scheduling is flexible so I'll have plenty of time in the day to check on your buddy! I'm very conscious of their safety and always use a leash, always make sure fenced areas are secure, and that there's no toxic plants around them. My own have a history of bolting/running away, so these things have become 2nd nature for me.

“We were in a pickle! We drove from Black Diamond WA to Elk Point ID and thought our dog would be ok in a hotel room while we attended a wedding. Our Yorkie is very spoiled and wasn’t having it! Carolyn saved our butts last minute and watched him whole we went to the wedding. Frank had fun and was just fine when we picked him up. Well cared for home with a fenced yard.
