I currently have a Golden Retriever and a German Shepherd mix, so I’m very comfortable with large breeds and high-energy dogs. About: My name is Taryn and I am currently going to school for nursing at North Idaho College. I cut back on work hours and figured I could help out with walks or pet sitting while I have extra time on my hands. I have two cats, a snake, and a tarantula. Although, I don't have dogs, I am very comfortable around all sized dogs and have frequently watched my friend's dogs when they've gone on trips. About: I've worked with many breeds of dogs. Mostly small to mid-size dogs with a variety of traits. Mostly working dogs namely Blue Heelers & Huskys. I tend to live an active lifestyle and that means hiking/walking/and lots of exercise. Rest assured both me and your pooch will be getting a good workout! In the past I've facilitated overnight lodging for dogs, and temporary stays of up to a few days. Be noted I do not currently have a large open or fenced in yard. About: I’ve been hired to groom a good handful of dogs and a cat! I’ve lived with black Labs mostly but dogs of all sizes my whole life including senior-blind/diabetic-neglected-and puppies and love teaching basic tricks and catering to loves and dislikes to keep animals as comfortable and safe with me as possible! About: My first job was a at a doggy daycare/ boarding facility but I have been pet sitting since I was 12. I’ve worked with puppies all the way through seniors receiving cancer treatment. I have a playful golden retriever who adores all animals big and small. I have experience bathing and giving insulin to cats too. I volunteered at a rescue ranch for a number of years and have experience with livestock. I personally have ducks, chickens, reptiles and a senior cat as companions for my golden. I am currently working 3 days a week for a tax office and am unavailable from January to April. On my off days I hike and take my golden to the river. I have a contract that I have been using since 2010 that outlines my safety procedures. When I am in a clients home I always have them review it and do a walk around of the home with them. From my years at doggy daycare I am pretty familiar with certain breed characteristics like the awesome heights husky’s can jump or the tunneling ability of a weenie. I also am very understanding about separation anxiety as someone who has worked at rescues. For walks I require a harness or collar the dog cannot slip out of. I require an in person meeting beforehand, if doggy play dates with my dog are requested we must meet on neutral ground first to see how they interact.

About: We always had multiple animals growing up! Dogs, cats, hamsters even! I absolutely love animals and pet sitting allows me to get pet time in since we don’t have pets. It’s also gives my three year old son chances to get used to pets. He loves all animals but cats especially. Just like his mama! I always bring my fiancé & son to the meet & greet. That way you know who will be in your personal space and Incase my fiancé needs to do a drop in due to my work schedule. It is important for the dogs to be kid friendly but can work around it and avoid bringing my son. *** rates are flexible! They may change if you are far away considering gas prices. It is very easy to work pet care into my routine. I typically work from 4pm to 11pm, 3 to 4 nights a week. Although my fiancé will be available if a drop in is needed during that time. My schedule fluctuates but I always will keep you in the loop on if he needs to go. If you’re okay with it during the initial meet & greet. It has not created an issue in the past:) In clients homes I’ll sure the animal has fresh water & is fed correctly. We make sure to give treats if allowed and lots and lots of play time.
