About: My father taught me about life by giving me pets since I was able to walk. Animals are a gift and should be treated like they are family. I work full time, but I still have plenty of time to take care of your pets. Having a small farm myself, my kids, who are older, pitch in to give animals all the care and love they need! I have a fenced in property and enclosed kennels for exercise. I also enjoy taking them on walks and playing ball with them outside. Any specific requests will try to be honored…

I booked Lisa for in-home drop-in care, and she was absolutely exceptional. She was punctual, attentive, and showed genuine care. From the moment we met her, it was clear that she had a natural affinity for animals. I was updated with regular messages and photos, which gave me peace of mind while I was away. My dog looked happy and relaxed in every picture, and it was evident that she was being well taken care of. Lisa followed all the instructions I provided and went above and beyond to ensure my dog’s comfort and happiness. I highly recommend Lisa for anyone looking for reliable and loving care for their dog. This experience has definitely set a high standard for what I expect from pet sitting services in the future.

Miranda has been amazing with my Mini Australian Shepherd puppy, Bowie. Herding breeds can be challenging, especially during the puppy stage, and she has handled his energy, jumping, puppy antics, and training needs with patience and confidence. Her experience with herding dogs really shows. She is incredibly communicative, sends detailed updates, and always keeps me informed about how he's doing. Most importantly, I know Bowie is safe, cared for, and getting plenty of attention when he's with her. She has been reliable, flexible, and genuinely caring, even helping on short notice when I needed it. I highly recommend Miranda to anyone looking for a knowledgeable and trustworthy sitter. Thank you for taking such great care of Bowie! 🐾💜

About: I've worked with many breeds of dogs. Mostly small to mid-size dogs with a variety of traits. Mostly working dogs namely Blue Heelers & Huskys. I tend to live an active lifestyle and that means hiking/walking/and lots of exercise. Rest assured both me and your pooch will be getting a good workout! In the past I've facilitated overnight lodging for dogs, and temporary stays of up to a few days. Be noted I do not currently have a large open or fenced in yard. I work with neighbors and friends pets on quite a regular basis! I regularly feed, train, walk & care for pets when away or on business! I work from home so this environment provides a perfect spot for pets to be nurtured & played with consistently! I always check prior to booking any special exercise and or dietary needs of your pet. Ensuring door remain locked when inside and timer's are set for when pets receive food upon client preference. Safety is of the upmost priority, so I will discuss a full plan and schedule so you know where you pup is and his progress while away. I will send regular check in photos to provide accountability for myself and the clients well being.

About: Hello! We are looking to help people out in our free time with pet care. Please note we can only accept small dogs who are good with cats for day care/boarding at this time. Please let us know a few times you are available for a meet and greet before hand to ensure it is a good fit! We have two cats and one dog; and between the two of us have many years of experience with cats, puppies and senior dogs. Audrie also volunteers at the local pet shelter and has gained a but of knowledge in dog training. We will be on time, provide lots of photos while you are away, and be certain to follow your instructions exactly as written. We look forward to meeting you and your pets! Between the two of us, we are very flexible. Our only routine is walking our dog in the morning and evening, and feeding our animals twice per day. We have a fenced backyard, and let our pets go out when they want, but mostly they stay inside. We take our dog on two walks daily. We will follow whatever direction you have. Because of our cats, we can only accept small dogs into our home for boarding, but can go to your home as needed.

About: I've taken care of dogs and cats (and other animals) since I was a kid. A proud godmother of a Yorkshire Terrier, a sweet gentleman. Got on Rover during college, and I absolutely loved it. My situation makes it hard to raise my own pets, so I take the chance to be around them whenever I could. I work remotely, which gives me the flexibility and time to provide attentive care for animals, including long walks and companionship. This allows me to be consistently present and available while pet sitting. I’m not currently able to host pets in my own space, but I take the time to get familiar with each new environment so I can provide the best possible care. I make communication with owners a priority, especially when learning the details of a new home or routine.

Lori cared for my much-loved kitties, Blanca and Gizmo, for two weeks while I was on vacation. My kitties became comfortable with Lori during our meet & greet and I was thoroughly impressed. They are sweet kitties but usually a bit skittish around new humans, except Lori. Lori did a combination of drop-ins and overnights. She sent me updates and pictures on a daily basis, so I k new they were happy and well-cared for. I would highly recommend Lori; she is a kind and thoughtful person and was amazing with my kitties.

About: I carry a business insurance policy for petcare. My first job was a at a doggy daycare/ boarding facility but I have been pet sitting since I was 12. I’ve worked with puppies all the way through seniors receiving cancer treatment. I have a playful golden retriever who adores all animals big and small. I have experience bathing and giving insulin to cats too. I volunteered at a rescue ranch for a number of years and have experience with livestock. I personally have ducks, chickens, reptiles and a senior cat as companions for my golden. I am currently working 3 days a week for a tax office and am unavailable from January to April. On my off days I hike and take my golden to the river. I have a contract that I have been using since 2010 that outlines my safety procedures. When I am in a clients home I always have them review it and do a walk around of the home with them. From my years at doggy daycare I am pretty familiar with certain breed characteristics like the awesome heights husky’s can jump or the tunneling ability of a weenie. I also am very understanding about separation anxiety as someone who has worked at rescues. For walks I require a harness or collar the dog cannot slip out of. I require an in person meeting beforehand, if doggy play dates with my dog are requested we must meet on neutral ground first to see how they interact.

About: Hello, My name is Joy. My Life's passion is caring for animals, I am happiest to just be with them! I have 11 years experience of pet care, working on a farm with a variety of animals; dogs, cats, reptiles, rodents, jersey cows,Angus cattle, horses, sheep, goats, pigs, pot belly pigs, chickens, chicks, ducks, rabbits, bunnies,Emu,zebras...You name it, I've probably taken care of it! I've had my pet sitting side gig for 3-4 years now. I am 31, I have yet to meet someone who doesn't call me sweet, and I think old people are the cutest thing ever, aside from puppies & kittens, of coarse. My desire someday is to work in a wildlife rescue, zoo, or/and own my own property to create a hobby farm/mixed animal boarding facility with fenced acreage for dogs and other animals to run around on and play. Thank you for considering me to watch your fur babies! Have a furbulous day ;) * For farms, my rate is $60/night. - That includes "farmwork", cleaning enclosures, stalls, pastures, cages, coops, feeding, watering, any grooming, all the love. If you just have a small/hobby "farm", just a few chickens, rabbits, or 1-2 livestalk, lets talk! Im flexible :) Some things about me: I do have a part time job, it is up to 6 hrs, 10-4 and my days off are friday and saterday. Other than my work schedule, your pets will get the rest of my time. I will make sure to spend enough time in the mornings caring for your pets, taking them out, spending time with them, going for a walk or playing or cuddling before I have to go. I will come home right after work, let dogs out, and make sure to feed the animals and let them out one more time before bed! I am very flexible to spend most if not all my available time with your pets. I'll play with them either in their yard or in the house. I like to give them treats. After the initial sit, I offer baths and brushing for your dogs and cats at the end of the sits, depending if they are comfortable enough with me or not. However, if your dog or cat is heavily matted, I will not try to brush those out as they need proffessional grooming.

About: Hi, I’m Alexis!💞☺️👋🏼 I have always loved and had a connection with all types of animals and recently just joined Rover in the summer of 2022 to fill some of my time, I took a short break but now am back to sitting just relocated a little from where I was in CoeurdAlene, Idaho to fill some of my free time!☺️🐾 Before I found out I didn’t quite have the stomach for it and actually explored the career, I always wanted to be a veterinarian so I could get to work with animals! Since I couldn’t handle the messy medical parts now I love to sit + walk the fur-babies, take them to the park, and give lots of snuggles + treats!🥰 I’ve took care of pets since I was little and our animals had multiple litters of puppies and kittens as well so I’ve got to take care of little fur babies too❤️ My mom and I ran a pet sitting page through Thumbtack in 2014 that was super similar to Rover and we were voted a top sitter under ItsRainingCats&Dogs<3 I love getting to feel like I’m helping a family and pet stay close while they are apart, while I’ve done pet sitting I’ve worked with elderly, blind, deaf, and other disabilities that needed help with some extra things.❤️ I like to make sure the animal always feels as comfortable as it can if staying in my home so let me know any special needs and I will always send pictures!😊 I’ve also given medications before if your animal needs to take them while being watched just as long as it’s pills or oral, I’ve never administered a shot.❤️ I have a small lab retriever mix who is full of energy when he wants to be and has never not wanted to introduce himself to the others, he is about 20 lbs and going on 4!😊🐾 He also LOVES to get out of the house and go on car rides so as long as it’s okay with you and your pet wants to, they can come on the adventures as well!🥰 I’m currently finishing my last year of school online and work on jewelry for my Etsy shop in the daytime so I am almost always home during the week and usually just run quick errands throughout the weekends so I’ll always be back to check on the pets☺️ I have a large fenced in back yard and a golden retriever named Ollie as well who loves to make friends and keep your pets company! (As long as they are okay with other dogs)☺️🐾 If not we can always crate and put them away or we have a couple different rooms for our dogs. Ollie loves to start rolling over and play tag when meeting. I let them use the bathroom every 1 -2 hours and always watch over them while they eat just in case. If you’re furbaby gives you a hard time in the bath or you’ve noticed they’ve been getting a little stinky, I don’t mind sitting in there with them and getting wet. If they get anxiety from baths I can bring treats and help them stay calm.❤️ We have some oatmeal soap for dry + sensitive skin and soft bristle brushes as well as nail clippers if you notice they need theirs done I have been clipping my dogs for a long time😊 I’m currently working a part time job on Saturdays but I can always come before my shifts or after, I’m usually always off by 3pm and I love to get outside myself so if your dog likes to go to the dog park or on walks we’ll be besties🥰🐾 I’m only doing services away from my home right now besides daycare so in all those cases I always will supervise feeding times or manage if pets need to eat separately, I let the babies out and pick up if the owner wants me to to keep the yard clean, watch to make sure no doors or rooms that are supposed to be kept shut are left open, make sure crates/kennels are secured 100% when leaving, I always will put a leash on when going anywhere with a pet and bring water if it’s hot outside to keep the babies cooled down🫶🏼

About: We always had multiple animals growing up! Dogs, cats, hamsters even! I absolutely love animals and pet sitting allows me to get pet time in since we don’t have pets. It’s also gives my three year old son chances to get used to pets. He loves all animals but cats especially. Just like his mama! I always bring my fiancé & son to the meet & greet. That way you know who will be in your personal space and Incase my fiancé needs to do a drop in due to my work schedule. It is important for the dogs to be kid friendly but can work around it and avoid bringing my son. *** rates are flexible! They may change if you are far away considering gas prices. It is very easy to work pet care into my routine. I typically work from 4pm to 11pm, 3 to 4 nights a week. Although my fiancé will be available if a drop in is needed during that time. My schedule fluctuates but I always will keep you in the loop on if he needs to go. If you’re okay with it during the initial meet & greet. It has not created an issue in the past:) In clients homes I’ll sure the animal has fresh water & is fed correctly. We make sure to give treats if allowed and lots and lots of play time. Along with snuggles if the pet enjoys them!

FAQs for Drop-In Visits - Bellgrove

Frequently asked questions about Rover

As of July 2026, there are 522 sitters on Rover offering Cat Sitting across Bellgrove. Enter your ZIP code to see which available sitters are closest to your home.

Cat sitters on Rover care for your cats’ needs and can spend quality time with them, including activities like feeding, playing, and refreshing their water and litter boxes. Depending on your arrangement, you can schedule as many visits per day as your cat needs or find a sitter who can stay at your house overnight. Some sitters also board cats in their home.

House sitting can be ideal for cats who need socialization or care that lasts longer than a few hours. Your cat stays in their own home, on their own schedule, with care based on what you and your sitter agree on together.

Many pet parents provide a spare key or arrange a lockbox. You can also exchange keys during the Meet & Greet and show your walker how to use digital fobs or personalized codes. It helps to arrange access to your home, from spare keys to concierge introductions, before pet care begins.

If you live in an apartment or condo, don’t forget to discuss details like buzzer access, codes, or elevator etiquette. These details can help a pet sitter feel more comfortable going in and out of your building.

Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.

Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .

The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.

All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your cat, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.

Yes, you can find sitters who have experience with handling special pet needs in Bellgrove. On Rover:

  • 93% of sitters can help with special care needs
  • 92% can help with giving oral medications or injections
  • 100% can help with daily exercise

You can also find pet sitters on Rover who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies, kittens, or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.

Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.

Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.

If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
