About: I carry a business insurance policy for petcare. My first job was a at a doggy daycare/ boarding facility but I have been pet sitting since I was 12. I’ve worked with puppies all the way through seniors receiving cancer treatment. I have a playful golden retriever who adores all animals big and small. I have experience bathing and giving insulin to cats too. I volunteered at a rescue ranch for a number of years and have experience with livestock. I personally have ducks, chickens, reptiles and a senior cat as companions for my golden. I am currently working 3 days a week for a tax office and am unavailable from January to April. When I am in a clients home I always have them review it and do a walk around of the home with them. From my years at doggy daycare I am pretty familiar with certain breed characteristics like the awesome heights husky’s can jump or the tunneling ability of a weenie. I also am very understanding about separation anxiety as someone who has worked at rescues. For walks I require a harness or collar the dog cannot slip out of. I require an in person meeting beforehand, if doggy play dates with my dog are requested we must meet on neutral ground first to see how they interact.

Warm and friendly and bonded with Ranger immediately. Met her at house next day for drop off and she was very attentive asking questions about allergies and concerns. About: I discovered my love for animals when my mom rescued a Shiba Inu shortly after my dad died. Since then, I've made every effort to learn as much as I can about cats and dogs, including going to professional grooming school and I'm currently working on becoming a certified dog trainer. Most of my experience with cats has come from my sister and her roommate, but I love cats just as much as I love dogs I do have another part time job, but scheduling is flexible so I'll have plenty of time in the day to check on your buddy! I'm very conscious of their safety and always use a leash, always make sure fenced areas are secure, and that there's no toxic plants around them. About: I started my first dog walking business in elementary school walking neighborhood dogs! I have owned dogs my entire life, taking them on regular walks. Owning a reactive dog now has made me even more patient! I have attended various dog training sessions with my reactive dog and learned more about managing dog behaviors. I’m a teacher on summer break looking for a little extra money! I’m free all week long to help get those pups some extra exercise and fun! I own 2 dogs and we have a fenced yard. Our dogs are kennel trained but roam the house freely all day and night. I have attended dog training sessions in the past to support my reactive rescue dog.

I have taken care of all sorts of animals--dogs, cats, birds, lizards, hamsters, bunnies, horses, pigs, goats, chickens and even cows! I feel comfortable with pets who have medical issues, as well. I also have done a fair amount of pet massages for dogs and cats (not lizards, though!!) I have an online business, so I usually housesit and work part-time online. This makes it very easy for me to be in a home with pets who need more attention, or dogs that need walked often. I have done all levels of pet care-from simple one hour drop-in visits for cats to feeding and cleaning up for horses and cows (extra fee for that!!) So, I am very versatile with my clients! I also find that I bond easily with pets, and can often connect to shy or nervous cats and dogs by being present, calm and talking to them. About: We always had multiple animals growing up! Dogs, cats, hamsters even! I absolutely love animals and pet sitting allows me to get pet time in since we don’t have pets. It’s also gives my three year old son chances to get used to pets. He loves all animals but cats especially. Just like his mama! I always bring my fiancé & son to the meet & greet. That way you know who will be in your personal space and Incase my fiancé needs to do a drop in due to my work schedule. It is important for the dogs to be kid friendly but can work around it and avoid bringing my son. *** rates are flexible! They may change if you are far away considering gas prices. It is very easy to work pet care into my routine. I typically work from 4pm to 11pm, 3 to 4 nights a week. Although my fiancé will be available if a drop in is needed during that time. My schedule fluctuates but I always will keep you in the loop on if he needs to go. If you’re okay with it during the initial meet & greet. It has not created an issue in the past:) In clients homes I’ll sure the animal has fresh water & is fed correctly. We make sure to give treats if allowed and lots and lots of play time. Along with snuggles if the pet enjoys them!

About: I work remotely and love taking walks throughout the day to stop looking at screens. I go for frequent runs, walks and hikes and love taking a dog with me, just let me know if you would like your pup to get extra exercise! I live in downtown CDA area with a large fenced yard and a great neighborhood for walks! I only take in one dog at a time.
