While having her own charm, she is touchy and extremely protective of her personal space. With vets, she is virtually un-treatable. So it was with some trepidation that we hired a complete stranger for the first time ever to look after her for over a week. Naomi impressed us with her professionalism and passion for winning over her charges. We gave her some pointers, crossed our fingers, and left the two of them to sort it out. Within only a couple days our cat went from hissing virulently and hiding for hours, to actually tolerating touch and engaging in play in Naomi's presence. We can't be more impressed and delighted. About: Currently doing drops in visits and walks (dogs and cats). Feeding, yard time, play, brushing, watering, all the good drop in stuff. I have experience walking dogs of all breeds and sizes (10-200 lbs). I learned a great deal about healthy mobility as I had to rehab my pup at adoption. I also have 2 cats at home and love playing and cuddling (when they let me) with them. Happy to care for other types of pets but will need clear instructions. :) I work remotely and mostly for myself right now so I have pretty good flexibility to drop in or walk your pups. During the week I can walk or drop on Mon, Wed, Fri and the weekend. - Front yard is fenced and 4 feet high; 2 large water bowls - Back yard is fenced and 6 feet high; 1 large water bowl - Dogs are fed separately from each other - I'm mindful of what toys are out to avoid resource guarding related mishaps.

About: I have a lifelong passion for animals, especially dogs, having grown up surrounded by them. In addition to raising family pets, I've cherished my Australian shepherd, Olly, for 7 years, and when I met my now husband he brought a wonderful border Collie mix, 3 years ago, but has owned him for 8 years. We've filled their lives with love through daily walks, outdoor adventures like hiking and camping, and endless exploration. Olly I trained from a puppy and Hank was adopted at 3 and at 11 now he is still learning new tricks! Throughout caring for Olly and Hank, I've also opened our home to friends' pets, treating them with the same affection and care. I'm excited to extend this love and commitment to your dogs, whether through dog walking, drop-ins, or boarding! I work in the office two days a week, but otherwise I work from home! So two of the days maybe longer time before getting let out. We love first and foremost, so that they feel welcomed. We will read their energy to make sure they feel calm and not stressed when they are here. We will provide great exercise and loads of cuddles.

“Amanda is always amazing! She has checked on my cats and chickens for me two or three times now, and she never disappoints! Her updates are thorough, she shares adorable pictures of my babies, and even feeds snacks to the chickens sometimes. They are used to our kitchen scraps on a daily basis, so I'm sure they really apperciate the snacks she gives while we are gone. 😊 The cats love her and love her attention. She hangs out the full half hour to give them the love they crave while we are gone. I couldn't apperciate her more!”
