“I highly recommend Constance. She looked after my three cats with different needs/personalities for two weeks while I was on work travel, sending notes and photos each visit that really put my mind at ease while leaving my “kids” for that long. She took time to understand each cat’s personality so that they quickly came around to welcoming her into their home. She won all three over! I would definitely book her services again. My kitties give 5 stars.”

“Naomi watched our cat Paisley for ten days while we were on vacation. She stopped in daily to feed, change the litter, brush, and play with Paisley. She also sent daily photos of our girl. Naomi made fast friends with Paisley, and we were so happy that our little girl had some company while we were away. Highly recommended!!! Thank you, Naomi!”

“Amy did a really great job in taking care of our dog and 2 cats. We got regular updates and pictures which we loved! She went above and beyond and took extra time in caring for the pets!”

“We love Kimberly as she always does a great job watching over our sweet girl. Our cat is typically timid but does so well with Kimberly. We always feel at ease knowing she is looking after her.”

“Lisa made everything so easy for us! She was super reliable, sent great updates and photos, and really took excellent care of our pup (who is still learning manners and can be pretty energetic!). We really appreciate Lisa’s good communication and quality care - highly recommend!”

“Our 16-year old part-feral kitty has a reputation among the many people who have known her - on both coasts of the U.S. - for her whole life. While having her own charm, she is touchy and extremely protective of her personal space. With vets, she is virtually un-treatable. So it was with some trepidation that we hired a complete stranger for the first time ever to look after her for over a week. Naomi impressed us with her professionalism and passion for winning over her charges. We gave her some pointers, crossed our fingers, and left the two of them to sort it out. Within only a couple days our cat went from hissing virulently and hiding for hours, to actually tolerating touch and engaging in play in Naomi's presence. We can't be more impressed and delighted. Thank you Naomi!! We are so happy for you to join the small family of our cat's fans and trusted sitters.”

“Jodie is great! She used to watch both of our cats, but sadly one went missing. When we rebooked her to watch the one remaining kitty she had printed out photos of both our boys and gifted them to us in a card. Now that the brother is gone her visits are longer to give him extra snuggles and pets. Her love for our kitties means so much!”

“Elizabeth took on a very last minute drop in for me when my power had gone out and I was worried about my kitty having food. They went over right away for me and gave her food, and made sure everything was okay, sending me lots of pics along the way! Really made me feel better about if my kitty was going to miss any meals!”

About: Currently doing drops in visits and walks (dogs and cats). Feeding, yard time, play, brushing, watering, all the good drop in stuff. I have experience walking dogs of all breeds and sizes (10-200 lbs). I learned a great deal about healthy mobility as I had to rehab my pup at adoption. I also have 2 cats at home and love playing and cuddling (when they let me) with them. Happy to care for other types of pets but will need clear instructions. :) I work remotely and mostly for myself right now so I have pretty good flexibility to drop in or walk your pups. During the week I can walk or drop on Mon, Wed, Fri and the weekend. - Front yard is fenced and 4 feet high; 2 large water bowls - Back yard is fenced and 6 feet high; 1 large water bowl - Dogs are fed separately from each other - I'm mindful of what toys are out to avoid resource guarding related mishaps.

“Highly recommended! Constant communication and was very flexible with bad weather and challenges getting to my house. Friendly, warm, and wonderful with my kitties. Thank you so much!”

About: I have a lifelong passion for animals, especially dogs, having grown up surrounded by them. In addition to raising family pets, I've cherished my Australian shepherd, Olly, for 7 years, and when I met my now husband he brought a wonderful border Collie mix, 3 years ago, but has owned him for 8 years. We've filled their lives with love through daily walks, outdoor adventures like hiking and camping, and endless exploration. Olly I trained from a puppy and Hank was adopted at 3 and at 11 now he is still learning new tricks! Throughout caring for Olly and Hank, I've also opened our home to friends' pets, treating them with the same affection and care. I'm excited to extend this love and commitment to your dogs, whether through dog walking, drop-ins, or boarding! I work in the office two days a week, but otherwise I work from home! So two of the days maybe longer time before getting let out. We love first and foremost, so that they feel welcomed. We will read their energy to make sure they feel calm and not stressed when they are here. We will provide great exercise and loads of cuddles.

“Amanda is always amazing! She has checked on my cats and chickens for me two or three times now, and she never disappoints! Her updates are thorough, she shares adorable pictures of my babies, and even feeds snacks to the chickens sometimes. They are used to our kitchen scraps on a daily basis, so I'm sure they really apperciate the snacks she gives while we are gone. 😊 The cats love her and love her attention. She hangs out the full half hour to give them the love they crave while we are gone. I couldn't apperciate her more!”

“Chuck did a great job caring for our cat while we were gone on vacation. Our cat is elderly and has medications plus a special diet, so it was important to me to have someone checking in on her that I can count on. Chuck is super reliable and it was a huge relief to know that he was taking care of her. He made sure her medication/food needs were met, plus made sure to spend some time giving her attention so that she wouldn't feel lonely. I highly recommend him!”

“Jessica was awesome and took great care of my two dogs despite a difficult start to their time together. My dogs decided to be somewhat less than cooperative. Jessica handled the situation incredibly well and allowed me to have a memorable visit with my family.”

About: “If I could be half the person my dog is, I’d be twice the human I am.” –Charles Yu Hi, I’m a lifelong animal lover with over 30 years of experience caring for pets—11 of those years professionally. I've cared for everything from sled dog teams to horses to chickens but dogs are truly my passion, and there’s nothing I enjoy more than spending my days walking, boarding, and providing them with the love and attention they deserve. I am currently certified in Dog Massage, Dog Training Methods to Stop Barking, and Pet Choking. My home is a doggy playground, complete with two fenced yards (one in front and one in back) for playtime and located right next to the beautiful trails of Illahee Park for long, scenic walks. Dogs are allowed on couches and beds here - your furry friend will feel right at home with me! Boarding and House sitting bookings come with a framed fantasy pet portrait of your pet(s) so if you have a preference for your pet paw-trait, please let me know! A little more about us: My husband and I moved here from Issaquah when we bought our first home in Bremerton in July 2023. I didn't bring my clients with me because of the distance, even though I wish I could have! I "retired" at that time from dog sitting but we started doing it again occasionally for friends, neighbors, and family and we realized how much we really missed doing it! We love it here in Kitsap County. So, while I'm not new to professional pet care, I'm newish to the Rover platform - if you have any concerns about my pricing or availability, please don’t hesitate to reach out. My rates reflect the quality of care I provide and are set to ensure my services are worthwhile. That said, I understand the Rover platform can occasionally create confusion, so I’m happy to discuss any unique circumstances you may have. As a freelance graphic designer working from home, I have the flexibility and freedom to dedicate plenty of quality time to caring for pets, whether that be in my home, or at yours. Boarding and Housesitting bookings come with a framed fantasy pet paw-trait of your pet(s). I have two friendly dogs at home who love company and are always up for playtime. They spend a lot of time having fun in our yard, but we also enjoy occasional trips to the local off-leash park. For more adventurous outings, we take longer hikes through the beautiful trails at Illahee and Dickerson, giving them plenty of exercise and exploration.

Firoz K.
“Firoz is a very responsible and patient pet owner. He has two cats and a big dog. He puts serious work and thought into keeping them happy, healthy, and safe. The dog he has is a French Pyrenees who had knee problems in both back legs. He knew it would be expensive in time, money, and effort to repair the issue. He was aware of the issues before adopting the dog but adopted her anyway. He has the discipline, patience, and love needed to take excellent care of his pets and any entrusted to him. There is no one I would trust more with my pets.”

I have a hard time trusting people to be able to handle their exuberant personalities. Lucky for me, she loves them and the feeling is mutual! It’s been a huge relief to travel knowing that they are in good hands, and she is great about sending check-in texts with pictures and videos to keep us updated about how they’re doing every time she comes by. I highly recommend her!”
