“Lorelei is such a great host! I have boarded my puppy with her about 5 or 7 times over the course of December 2015 and January 2016 and I can only say great things about her. Her apt is very welcoming to dogs as she always has fellow playmates around and has a patio area where they can eliminate. One time, my puppy jumped off the furniture wrong and had hurt himself. She called me immediately and also did the courtesy of contacting DogVacay’s own vet for advice. My experience of Lorelei is that she is very attentive to the dogs and cares for them as if they are her own. As a bonus, Lorelei also wrote me thank you cards! I have booked with someone else when she wasn’t available and now I have learned that if you’re going to book on DogVacay, choose Lorelei!”

About: I've spent a few different winters working for a doggy daycare where you need to arrange a schedule for each dog to go walk and go play. Some days we would have forty plus dogs all needing care and attention. About: I have a lifelong passion for animals, especially dogs, having grown up surrounded by them. In addition to raising family pets, I've cherished my Australian shepherd, Olly, for 7 years, and when I met my now husband he brought a wonderful border Collie mix, 3 years ago, but has owned him for 8 years. We've filled their lives with love through daily walks, outdoor adventures like hiking and camping, and endless exploration. Olly I trained from a puppy and Hank was adopted at 3 and at 11 now he is still learning new tricks! Throughout caring for Olly and Hank, I've also opened our home to friends' pets, treating them with the same affection and care. I'm excited to extend this love and commitment to your dogs, whether through dog walking, drop-ins, or boarding! I work in the office two days a week, but otherwise I work from home! So two of the days maybe longer time before getting let out. We love first and foremost, so that they feel welcomed. About: I’ve taken care of multiple kinds of dogs and cats for family and friends ever since I was a little kid, and owned both kitties and doggies of different breeds most of my life. I’ve read a few training books for doggies, stayed multiple nights for pet sitting, volunteered at pet shops, worked at pet stores, handled kittens and puppies with care, worked with senior cats and dogs, as well as other barn animals as well! I am currently working a part time job in silverdale, usually around 10-15 hours a week. I always receive my schedule at least a week in advance, so I just need time to plan around that. About: I’m a lifelong dog lover who friends and family regularly trust to care for their pets while they travel. I have two friendly golden retrievers who truly love other dogs and are gentle, playful, and well-socialized. I’m experienced with a wide range of personalities—from high-energy pups who need lots of playtime to senior dogs who prefer a calm, cozy environment. I treat every dog as if they were my own, paying close attention to routines, feeding schedules, medications, and individual quirks. Your dog will enjoy plenty of love, supervised play, and a safe, comfortable home where they’re never just “watched,” but genuinely cared for. I’m happy to provide updates and photos so you can relax knowing your pup is in good hands. I work from home, which allows me to provide consistent supervision, frequent potty breaks, and a calm, structured environment. I’m available for both short-notice needs and bookings well in advance as you plan your travels. My goal is to be your go-to sitter whenever you need reliable, loving care. I have a large fully fenced yard and two friendly, well-socialized golden retrievers who enjoy playing in the backyard by a game of chase and/or fetch. I closely monitor playtime and all interactions, follow each dog’s routine, and can crate, separate, or provide quiet space if needed in order to keep all dogs in my care stress/free, comfortable and happy. Safety, comfort, and trust are always my top priorities. This isn’t just a place where you drop your dog for the day or for a trip. It’s a calm, loving environment where dogs feel safe and loved while you’re away. I choose thoughtful exercise and enrichment to keep them happy and give them plenty of opportunities to burn energy and excitement.

About: I've spent a few different winters working for a doggy daycare where you need to arrange a schedule for each dog to go walk and go play. Some days we would have forty plus dogs all needing care and attention. I've also volunteered a substantial amount on many organic farms and working with all sorts of animals, learning how to read different animal personalities and manage their care I currently work from home and on the side have picked up many gigs and different short term services to fill the gaps in my schedule. Dog visits and walks are one of my favorite ways to break the day up and make it less boring. Feeding according to owners schedule and multiple short walks each day. I own a small property surrounded by virgin forest where dogs love to go and explore or for more fragile dogs can walk/play around small yards or dog friendly parks.
