She is punctual whenever we scheduled to meet, and let me know when she is expected to arrive at my house on the first day of dog/house-sitting. She texted me daily to keep me informed. My dog, now in his senior years, is prone to overnight accidents. Suhani was very understanding and cleaned up afterwards exactly the way I instructed. My dog was well taken care of, and Suhani left my house in great shape. I highly recommend Suhani and would hire her again.”

About: I’ve been caring for animals for most of my life and genuinely love getting to know pets of all personalities, ages, and energy levels. I had my own dog, Boo, for 12 years and was responsible for her daily care, routines, and companionship throughout her life. Currently, I help with my roommate’s dog, Mavi, and have helped care for her for the past 3 years. I help make sure she is fed, walked, has fresh water, and of course gets plenty of cuddles and belly rubs. I’ve also pet sat for friends several times and have experience caring for dogs of different ages and temperaments. In high school, I regularly house sat and cared for animals for a family friend with a farm. Along with caring for their dogs and cats, I also helped look after their horses and goats. I understand how important it is for pets to feel safe, comfortable, and loved while their owners are away, and I always try to provide calm, attentive, and reliable care. I currently work full time Monday through Friday from 8am–5pm, but I’m available to care for pets before and after work, during my lunch break, and much more flexibly on weekends. I’m committed to making sure pets stay on their normal routines and get the attention, care, and companionship they need while their owners are away. At this time, I plan to provide care in the client’s home, where pets are often most comfortable in their familiar environment. Since I currently rent, I’m limited on additional animals in my home, but I’m happy to provide reliable in-home visits, walks, drop-ins, and house sitting care. When caring for pets in a client’s home, I focus on maintaining their normal routine and creating a calm, safe, and comfortable environment. I understand that pets can feel stressed when their owners are away, so I try to provide consistency, patience, and plenty of attention to help them feel secure. I carefully follow all instructions regarding feeding schedules, walks, medications, house rules, and any special care needs. I also make sure pets always have fresh water, regular potty breaks, exercise, affection, and supervision appropriate for their needs and personality.
