About: I have been an animal lover since I was in diapers! My first best friend was Bailey, a Dalmatian, who provided the most joyous 14 years of my life until she crossed the Rainbow Bridge when I was 17. Two weeks later my parents surprised my sister and I with two beautiful Viszla sisters, Molly & Lucy. I come from a family of dog lovers, we have always had a fur baby as well as helping out family, friends and coworker's dogs when need be! After graduating from University of Florida in 2010, I moved to Minneapolis and spent my free time volunteering at the Human Society where I fell in love with a black lab, Ollie. Ollie was the first dog of MY own. Sweet Olliegirl and I moved back home to Ponte Vedra Beach in 2014, and my family fell in love with her at first site. Unfortunately she went upstairs last July at the age of eight due to a rare form of cancer. Prior to her departure, I rescued another black lab, Maggie, to lift Ollie's spirits before her time came. Last September I adopted a Golden Retriever, Chloe, who just turned one! Aside from serving as a dog-sitter for coworkers and friends, I enjoyed helping out at a family friend's kennel where I made amazing relationships with dogs and their owners - of whom I help out with walking, feeding, bathing and dog-sitting ...which is where Rover comes in! I work remote and am fortunate to make my own very flexible schedule which makes my daily routine able to accommodate caring for your sweet pup! I love dogs of all shapes, sizes and breeds! During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. sitters on Rover set their own , which you can find on their profile under their contact information. Sitters may set a same-day, one-, three-, or seven-day cancellation policy. Cancelling within your sitter’s cancellation policy qualifies you for a full refund.
Same-day cancellations for recurring services, which include walks, drop-ins, and day care, follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for pet boarding and house sitting, if you cancel after 12 pm on the applicable cancellation deadline, you’ll receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for any remaining days.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means you will get a full refund and our support team will work with you to find a replacement sitter.
