“Adam is so amazing! He took such good care of my little fur balls and cleaned up after them. I can’t thank him enough, I highly recommend using him to watch your fur babies.”

About: I’m an experienced and dependable dog sitter/caregiver who loves spending time with animals! I’m flexible, reliable, and committed to giving every dog the attention, care, and affection they deserve!! I’ve watched and raised dogs of all ages and sizes and also volunteer at my local shelter :) I am a college student at Utah Tech University and have classes in the mornings and on some days late afternoons Mon-Thurs. I also work part time as a Receptionist at Dogtown Pet Spa in St. George! If you have any questions regarding my schedule please feel free to reach out at anytime :)) I am comfortable with crating, feeding, picking up waste, and taking pets on walks! I’ve always had dogs in my home so I am super comfortable caring for them. I am very respectful of boundaries and am very commutative through texts and pictures/videos to ensure you and your pets feel safe!! I have also recently taken a 6 hour course on dog behaviors and how to handle dogs that may be more anxious or scared at first :))
About: I believe every pet deserves care that’s tailored to their unique personality and needs. Whether your pet is energetic, shy, a playful puppy, or a senior who needs a little extra patience, I take the time to make them feel safe, comfortable, and loved. I focus on building trust with both pets and their owners by providing dependable care, regular updates, and lots of attention while you’re away. My goal is to make your time apart as stress free as possible, so you can have peace of mind knowing your pet is in caring, capable hands :) I work full time but will accommodate to your pets needs. I will always have time for your fur babies and make sure they’re happy! Your pet’s safety, comfort, and routine are always my top priorities. When caring for pets in a client’s home, I treat both the home and the animals with the same respect and attention I would my own. I carefully follow all care instructions, including feeding schedules, medications (if needed), exercise, and any special routines to help pets feel comfortable while you’re away. I always make sure pets have a clean, safe environment, plenty of love and attention, and I provide regular updates with photos so you can feel confident they’re happy and well cared for. My goal is to keep your pet’s routine as consistent and stress free as possible while giving you complete peace of mind.

About: I’ve had many doggies in my family since I was five. Since I’m a paraplegic (going on five years now) and I have an ESA medium sized doodle, we would love a low-key playmate to share our adventures with—even if it’s just cuddling up on the couch, watching a movie. Being a paraplegic, I have access to my own door to the fenced in backyard from my bedroom. My parents are always home—which is where they also work—and would provide help with cuddles during our nightly movie fests. (Note: we prefer well trained, good natured, willing-to-be-low-key, but able to run at least two miles doggies. A love of Charlie Chaplin, like my dog, is optional) Daily, my Hairy and I go on walks—me on a three wheel scooter OR a three wheel bike, and never ever if it’s more than 100 degrees. If it’s 90-100 degrees, I thoroughly hose down my doggie and bring lots of water, and aim for a trail or park with lots of grass. If your dog is well mannered, I will let them loose and we can play with the ball.) My parents and I all work our individual jobs at home. I’m a writer in a wheelchair with my dog Hairy, who is in every respect like the hero we all have read about and adore. As I work on my computer, Hairy sits on his bed in the corner, waiting for another doggie boarder to play with! Yet, daily, your dog and mine would get at least two walks/bike rides/3 wheeled scooter rides so they get exposure to the world outside. (Some soaking down may be required for heat purposes.) Lots of treats, loves, cuddles, and relaxation provided with a varied fenced-in backyard are always at hand. Fenced yard, fountains, maybe 25 trees, no cats (bleah!), grass galore, and stairs to explore! Inside our environment is a working from home angelic nurse practitioner mom, a hard working engineer dad, and a writer (that’s me! Find my first book on Amazon called Prelude in N Minor as well as my other books!).

“Without a doubt Jessica is the person for you! And your pet! She was on time, followed all instructions & loved our pet 100% we did not even meet get face to face. Jessica followed specific written instructions & did it 100% on task - we have cameras inside & she definitely can be trusted sight unseen. Thank you so very much for being there when we needed you.”

“Aubree is such a pleasure to work with! She's a great communicator and we feel comfortable knowing Aubree is watching over our kitties while we are gone. She's our go-to when planning our frequent travels.”

About: I’ve lived with animals since I was born, constantly new animals being brought in an out from my family fostering animals as well as having our own. From a young age I would take animals on walk for my neighbors and care for them while out of town. Rover gives me that sense of childhood memories being able to take care of your fur babies. I am available for boarding on the weekends and even throughout the week! I do work a job but have another roomate in which when I am away at work for a few hours she is able to play and keep your fur baby entertained and help with any needs. I have no other animals, I have a grass park within a half mile of my apartment as well as a room to let them out for shorter potty breaks outside. There is no direct backyard but I promise to provide your fur baby the proper care as going out and taking them on walks!

About: I’ve had my own dog for 5 years and have loved taking care of anybody’s dogs at any point I can! I have loved dogs since I knew how to walk and love meeting all different kinds of puppies! I’m currently working two part time jobs but I’m in college away from home in need of some extra cash! I will try and make whatever schedule work! I live in a student living apartment building for the next few months so I will only be able to take care of pets at your home unfortunately :(

About: I first fell in love with caring for animals with my family dog, who I cared for and loved throughout my childhood and early adulthood, including as a senior dog. I’ve lived with and loved cats as well. I’ve also volunteered at a local shelter with dogs, and I loved my time there. Currently, I dog and cat sit for friends and family, and I would absolutely love to provide the best care for your pet! Pet care works well with my schedule. I work a hybrid remote job, which allows me to work from home for majority of the day. This means I’ll be readily available to care for your pet throughout the day. I love going on walks and spending time outdoors, and am happy to take your pet (dog) with me! I understand that inviting someone into your home takes a lot of trust and communication. While caring for your pet in your home, I will always follow any instructions left for me, stay respectful and courteous, and communicate via photos, texts, or calls- whatever works for you!
About: I've had several types of animals throughout my whole life so I have plenty of experience. I've cared for dogs, cats, reptiles, small animals, etc. I feel comfortable caring for pets of all sizes, ages, and temperaments. My schedule is currently fairly flexible. About: I have over 20 years of hands-on experience caring for dogs. My responsibilities have included feeding, walking, administering medication, cleanup and companionship. I love dogs! I'm currently working from home and create my calendar, so I'll have plenty of time to play with your pups. We'll have oodles of fun! I ensure all instructions are followed including feeding schedules, medication, and exercise needs. Pets will have adequate water and all messes will be cleaned up promptly.
“Bella took excellent care of our dogs. Our senior dog was given the time and extra care needed to make sure she got in and out of house safely and Bella was able to administer their meds which gave me great peace of mind. Next time we need a sitter I will be booking Bella again for sure.”

About: Hello! I’ve been dogsitting/housesitting for at least 3 years now if not more. I adore meeting new doggos and learning about all of their little quirks. I am very committed to making sure I stick to the rules you have and I find communication very valuable. Of course, above all else I love having a connection with your fur baby and being able to be there for them whenever you need. For the next month or two I’ll likely be available most of the day every day. Currently unemployed but looking into other jobs and I start my last year of school in August. Again I’m more than happy to meet with you and discuss schedule if you’re interested! In the couple times I have taken care of other’s pets I always make sure they’re safe. Whatever the pet parent’s standard is, I follow. It’s important to keep a pattern with our pets so they don’t feel too uncomfortable with their owner being gone. I also provide frequent updates if the pet parent prefers.

About: I have previous years of experience caring for many pets such as cats, dogs, birds and reptiles! I love animals and strive to make them feel as loved and as comfortable as I can. I’d love the opportunity to care for your pets! I am currently a college student taking online classes. I am home with open availability majority of the time and am looking for part time pet care for daily expenses. I have a fenced grass backyard for pets to run around in. I am also in a nice neighborhood for short walks when it’s not too hot out. Most importantly my home is a safe area for pets to roam around.

Dog parents share their Rover experiences - Santa Clara
We love Jessica caring for our fur babies so much and she does such a great job that we don’t worry anymore about our dogs and cat while we’re gone. She is amazing! And we also love the fact that our pets are comfortable while we’re gone knowing Jessica will care for them. They love her too!!!

Kirsten has been caring for my dogs for a while now, but because one lost her eye to glaucoma in January, we haven't gone on vacation for over 6 months. We finally left for a long weekend, and booked Kirsten, who remembered what had happened and checked in to see if there was anything extra needed. I asked her to try and put the daily drops in my dog's remaining eye--a challenge because that dog is highly anxious and has some intense fear. Kirsten was up for the challenge, and asked permission to bring chicken as a super high value treat instead of using the normal treats I leave there. On her visit, she persisted and managed to get drops in my nervous dog's eye, then stayed a little longer to make sure my dog calmed back down and didn't get stuck with the impression that Kirsten was the devil incarnate. As always, Kirsten goes above and beyond, giving my dogs care because she loves the animals, not just because she's doing a job. It took me 9 months to get the courage to leave my dogs in the care of a sitter, and Kirsten is the only one I trust with them!

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. While Rover doesn’t offer traditional subscription services, some sitters offer recurring bookings for services like home visits and dog walking.
