Doggy Day Care in Sanitarium

About: My husband and I have been caring for dogs in our home while owners are away for 20 years.All dogs are welcome, especially older dogs we play in the yard and go for walks on local trails. We have references galore! Also offer cat boarding.. 1 cat at a time ..we have a nice 2×3 ft cage we keep in a quiet area. About: Lifelong dog, cat, horse owner! Sold the farm (at least I didn't buy the farm yet) and live in town now but still the pets rule the roost!! Since I'm home so much I thought I'd offer pet sitting, my place or yours. I'm semi retired and luv to give tons of attention, walks and such. Whatever one needs. Years of vet care too. My house is a dog resort!!! Even a small dog pool out back, in and out privileges, dog beds all over the deck, TV room, office, etc. Max comfort, every dog has luv'd it here and molded right in! Home mostly, super attentive, work from home, we have a small nicely fenced yard, and hikes nearby for daily walks! We go to Spring Lake in the car too! Back door opens to a deck and a small fenced yard. On acreage so it's private & quiet. House sitting available some. And if your pet likes car rides we can drive to parks or beach. Very attentive, I also have extensive vet experience.

About: Hey, I’m Chappy! Christopher is my legal name… I specialize in walking / caring for large dogs and working breeds, but am happy to work with all breeds and sizes. I have worked with high-energy, reactive, less than sociable dogs too, giving them the physical and metal fulfillment they need. I personally have two larger dogs, Count (German Shepherd Husky mix, 110lbs) and Bentley (German Shepherd Dutch Shepherd mix, 80lbs). I’ve also worked with a range of breeds from pugs to golden retrievers to Alsatian shepherds to American bull dogs. I’m a freelance, work from home marketer, so I’m pretty much always at home and available to take care of dogs, or am able to come to you and take your pup out. We live on roughly 8 acres in Sonoma County, so there is plenty of room at our home for dogs to run and explore. I have two friendly German Shepherd mix dogs that love having friends over. We also have a secure deck that the dogs loving sunbathing on and watching the world go by. I can crate your dog, if need be (we have a crate / room for crates), along with the ability to keep dogs separate if need be. Should your dog use a e-collar of any sort, I’m trained in properly using them, as both of my dogs are trained to them. If your dog loves to hike, we regularly go for hikes on the trails around Sonoma County, or to Dillon Beach to run around off leash.

Re: ‘Special' pets: Do you have a rescue with mood-swings, a cat that attacks visitors then demands to be hand-fed? A cranky pants senior dog? Or maybe a joyful but jumpy terrier that needs constant, gentle conversation on a walk? Having been a foster pet & rescue animal parent I've had my share of pet personalities- and they’re all wonderful! Some require ‘special’ attention and I’m here to provide that. I work from home and have a great schedule. I started on Rover to get more time with pets after losing my amazing cat that I had for 18 years. It really filled a gap in my life! I’ve met many special animals along the way. My availability is typically flexible- including last minute bookings. I will care for your pet in your home or as part of a concierge service at your hotel, depending on your needs. *in addition to pet sitting, collecting mail, watering plants and other light duties can be arranged. Keeping your pets happy and at ease is my goal.
